CUEVAS, Manuela Rivera, 80, of Zephyrhills, passed away on Friday at the Hernando/Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. Manuela is survived by a son, Jose of Zephyrhills; a daughter, Mildred Cabrera of Zephyrhills; a step-daughter, Milagros Arrieta of Puerto Rico; 11 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Manuela is a native of Utuado, P.R. and came to this area 15 years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a home maker. A Rosary service will be conducted on Saturday (TODAY) at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with visitation to follow until 4:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 3, 2002 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with graveside services at 1:30 p.m. in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell with Rev. Fr. John Hays as celebrant.

MILLER, Angela, 60, of Hudson, died May 30, 2002. Survived by husband, Bill; sons, James, Charles and George; daughters, Angel Milhoan and Billie Jo Deskins; three siblings; four grandchildren. Dobies FH.

SHIVE-MARTIN, Ronald Neal 29, passed away May 30, 2002. Survived by his wife, Tracy; his daughter, Ashley; his son, Cameron, all of Zephyrhills; his mother and step-father, Nora and Michael Sellars of Zephyrhills; his father and step-mother, Ray and Lynda Martin of Lakeland; his grandmother, Elwanda Shive of Zephyrhills; a brother, Christopher Shive of Zephyrhills; a sister, Sonya Kuykendall of Cleveland, Tenn.; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who love him and miss him very much. Ronald was preceded in death by a younger brother, Johnathon Martin. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, June 1, 2002 at Whitfield Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Reiley officiating. BERNALDO, Felix, 82, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2002 in Temple Terrace. He survived by his wife of 60 years, Rose; three sons, Robert and wife, Joanna, Ronald and wife, Inge and Bryant; one daughter, Carol Fernandez and husband, Richard; one brother, Joe Bernaldo; one sister, Mary Busto; and four grandchildren. Per Mr. Bernaldo's request, no services are being held.

BOHANNAN, John R., 80, of Tampa, passed away at University Community Hospital on May 30, 2002. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sue Bohannan; son, John R. Bohannan, Jr. and wife, Debra; son, Robert E. Bohannan and wife, Patricia; and three grandchildren, Katherine Leigh Bohannan, Margaret Kelsey Bohannan and Rachel Loree Bohannan, all of Tampa. Mr. Bohannan was born in Birmingham, Alabama on February 15, 1922, the son of John H. and Sue E. Bohannan. At 18, he worked as head usher at the Alabama Theatre while attending Birmingham Southern College. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, John enlisted in the Army Air Corps, the forerunner of the U.S. Air Force. He graduated from flight school in September of 1944 before entering the European conflict as a member of the 448th Bomb Group, 714th Squadron out of Seething, England. As a B-24 pilot, he flew fifteen bombing missions and was awarded the Air Medal. Returning to Birmingham after the war, he married his high school sweetheart, Sue Salser, and began a career in the steel fabrication business. John worked for Ingalls Iron Works in Birmingham before taking a position in 1964 at Mussellman Steel in Tampa. In 1982 he moved to Orlando with Addison Steel before returning to Tampa in 1987 as a private consultant until his death. John loved planes, cars and tennis, but most of all, he loved his family. He was a true American hero. Family and friends are invited to a visitation between 11 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 3, 2002 at C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home, 9750 56th Street North in Temple Terrace. DIEGUEZ, Jerry, 61, passed away on May 28, 2002 with his loving family by his side at the Lower Florida Keys Health System. Jerry was born in Tampa on October 15, 1940. He lived in Key West for most of his life where he worked as a tile setter. He was a perfectionist at tile setting and took a lot of pride in his work. He was well-known by his trade and everyone loved his work, as well as his g ood humor and unique personality. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Carlos Miguel (Mongolo) Dieguez and Angie (Gallega) Dieguez. He is survived by two sisters, Olga Avery of California and Violet (Manolo) Font of Key West; three sons, Jerry Jr., Jeffrey and Manuel; one daughter, Jeraldine Moody of Tampa; nine grandchildren, Ricky, Franky, Mikey, Nicky, Jerry Josh, Jeffrey Jr., Jeremy, Zachary and Amanda, all of Tampa; his nieces, Shelley (Mike) and Tiffany Greer; his nephew, Eddie Font, all of Key West; several aunts, an uncle many cousins and nephews, all from out of town. LUCAS, Janette Patrick, 76, of Clearwater, Florida, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. Born in Amsterdam, Ohio, she moved to the Clearwater area in 1956 from Cleveland, Ohio. She worked as a secretary with the US Air Force, was a member of the Church of the Ascension, was a founding member of the Scottish American military Society, the Retired Officers Wives and Widows Club, the Scottish American Society, a life member of the Sheriffs Youth Ranch, the Clearwater Country Club and the MacDill Air Force Base Officers Club. She is survived by her husband, William of 32 years; two daughters, Rebecca Burrier and Nancy Thomas, both of Largo, Florida; a step-daughter, Julia Curtis of Fair Oaks, California; three step-sons, Joseph Lucas of Holiday, Florida, David Lucas of New Port Richey, Florida and Matthew Lucas of San Diego California; a brother, William Patrick of Melvern, Ohio; a sister, Dorothy Patrick of Amsterdam, Ohio; and 11 grandchildren.

MARTIN, Charles `Bill`, 82, of Dover, passed away May 30, 2002. He is survived by one daughter, Beverly Lewis; one brother, Buddy Martin; three sisters, Carrie Vee Carlton, Genevia Joiner and Marjorie Tripp; two grandchildren, Chris Lewis and Becky Rogers; and two great-grandchildren, Jessie and Trevor. Mr. Martin was a lifelong resident of the area where for many years he was a carpenter working with the area power plants as well as a farmer. ROBERTS, John Edward, 64, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, May 30, 2002 at his residence. Born in Northampton, Mass., he moved to St. Petersburg in 1983 from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. John was a veteran of the US Navy and was a retired agent for S.E.L. Maduro (Fla. Inc.), Tampa office. He attended King of Peace MCC Church. BECK, Anne, 89, born Aug. 6, 1912, passed away Friday, May 31, 2002. She moved to Florida in 1947 from New York City. She resided on Miami Beach and Hollywood before moving to Tampa in 1979. She is a member of Congregation Schaarai Zedek and Hadassah. She taught knitting at the Jewish Community Center. She is survived by her sister, Jill Loft, of New York; son, Eugene Beck; and daughter and son-in-law, Cookie and Booky Buchman, of Tampa; grandchildren, Steven Buchman and his wife Kristina, Julie Roher and her husband Keith, and Eric Scott Buchman, all of Tampa; and her niece, Ella Marie Fredrickson, of Gulfport, and other nieces and nephews, out of state. DURANT, George W., 94, of Tampa, died Friday, May 31, 2002. Survivors include his daughter, Claudia Frances West, of Tampa; grandsons, James M. West and wife Jackie, of Brooksville, Brian K. FORT, William C. Jr., passed away May 31, 2002. Born February 8, 1917 in Fort Meade, Fla., he was a resident of Jacksonville since 1950 and a member of Murray Hill United Methodist Church. He retired from the U.S. Army Air Force and served in the 8th Air Force with the 303rd Bombardment Group and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, and Purple Heart. He was also a master Mason and member of the Fort Meade Lodge #160 and York Rite Freemasonry of Jacksonville. Mr. Fort is survived by his wife, Rachael Kincaid Fort; sons, William C. Fort, III (Carol), Dean A. Fort, and Thomas L. Fort (Lynne); daughter, Cindy Fort; brother, Richard Fort (Mary); sisters, Aldine Warren and Thelma Lyle; grandchildren, Thomas Jr., Vanessa, David, and Susan; sister-in-law, Geneva Brownett; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friend, Ethel Parker. GLOS, Gardiner Woodward, age 79, died Wednesday, May 29, 2002 in Columbus, Ohio. Gardiner grew up in Tampa with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Stephen T. Woodward at 3310 Lykes Ave. His parents, Walter A. Glos and Louise Woodward Glos of Elmhurst and Winnetka, Illinois were killed in an airplane accident in Tampa in 1927. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was educated at Duke a nd Stetson Universities. He lived in Chicago, Ill., and Miami, Fla., and made his home in Columbus, Ohio for the last ten years. He was self-employed as an accountant and real estate investor, and found great enjoyment in his houseboat and sailboat, traveling to Costa Rica, eating and drinking with friends, spending time with his daughter, and reading history books. He is remembered with love by his daughter, Jennifer Glos and her fiance, Manish Tuteja of Los Angeles, Calif.; former wife, Kay Furst of Westerville, Ohio; first cousins, Mark H. German of Sarasota, Fla., Henry Bates of Ocean Reef, Fla., Peter Bates of Elmhurst, Ill., George Larkin of Elmhurst, Ill., Walter Larkin of Chicago, Ill. and Lawrence Larkin of Geneva, Il. McLENDON, Geraldine, 82 of Tampa passed away at home on May 31, 2002. MILLER, Harvey Edward, 62, of Sebring, Florida, passed away Friday, May 31, 2002, at HighLands Regional Medical Center, Sebring. Graveside services will be held Monday, June 3, 2002, at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Durant, Florida, at 3 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to service time. Mr. Miller was born in Plant City, Florida, and had been a resident of Sebring for three months, moving from Durant, Florida. He was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. RAGUCKAS, Dorothy Jane, 75, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday, May 30, 2002 in the emergency room at St. Petersburg General Hospital. She came here in 1943 from her native Avon Park, Fla., and was a 1944 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. She moved to Tampa in 1955 and was a lunch room manager with the Hillsborough County School System, working at DeSoto Elementary and Clair-Mel Elementary and Franklin Jr. High Schools, she was a volunteer at Mary Help of Christians in Tampa. She returned to St. Petersburg in 1995 and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph C., Sr.; one son,Joseph C., Jr. of Brandon; two daughters, Helen K. Bingham of Orlando and Theresa Anne Paltza of Cape Coral; two sisters, Mary Allen and Arlene McKee both of St. Petersburg; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at E. STEHLE, Bertha F. Steinmeyer, 58 of Riverview, died Friday, May 31, 2002. Survivors include her husband, Henry G. Stehle; two sons, Henry G. Stehle, Jr., and John Robert Stehle all of Riverview. A native of Budd Lake, N.J. she came to this area in 1994. She was a customer service representative for John Harland Check Co. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, at Resurrection Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Stowers Riverview Chapel.

WAREHIME, John R., Jr., 82, a resident of Sun City Center, Fla., formerly of Westminster, Md., died of acute Leukemia on Thursday, May 30, 2002, at LifePath Hospice House in Sun City Center. He was born July 25, 1919 in Baltimore, Md. He graduated from Westminster High School in 1935. He served as a Tech Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II. Until 1971, Mr. Warehime was a successful farmer, livestock dealer and local businessman on the family farm in Westminster, Md. Thereafter, he was employed by Ten Oaks Nursery in Clarksville, Md. He retired in 1985, and moved to Sun City Center, Fla. In 1986 he married Dorothy Whitehurst of Columbia, Md. Mr. Warehime was a member of Krider's Lutheran Church in Westminster, Md., and Redeemer Lutheran Church in Sun City Center. He was an active member, participating in Bible study and religion classes as well as being an usher. He was also a life member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion. Mr., Warehime enjoyed spending time with the family, loved watching baseball and football, listening to Rush Limbaugh and going to lawn bowling regularly. Mr. and Mrs. Warehime were also avid collectors of Baltimore Orioles memorabilia. Preceding his death were his parents, John and Bertha Warehime, of Westminster, Md. He is survived by his first wife, Rita, of Westminster, Md.; and his present wife, Dorothy, of Sun City Center, Fla.; daughter, Janice Alegria of Fergus Falls, Minn.; and son, John Warehime III of Westminster, Md.; three grandchildren: Ted, Jason and Stephanie; and two great-grandchildren, Alex and Chelsea. He is also survived by five stepdaughters, Patricia Pitts, Deborah Spedding, Roberta Rossin, Jacqueline Duncan and Judith Ramsey; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to LifePath Hospice House, 908 American Eagle Blvd., Sun City Center, FL 33573. Visitation will be at Lewers Funeral Home, Ruskin, Fla., on June 3 from 6 - 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Sun City Center, on June 4 at 1 p.m. There will also be a special memorial service at Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel followed by a graveside service at Krider's Lutheran Church, Westminster, Md.

WRIGHT, Clyde Merle Sr., 60, passed away May 28, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Rose Anna and a large loving family. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2002 at 4:00 p.m. at the Plant City Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Plant City Moose Lodge #1668 or charity of one's choice.
