For the past 7 years Mother has been in Eustis, Florida, staying with her daughter Joy, and this is where she passed away, going to meet with her loving family. Our mother was a very hard worker over the years and one of her first jobs was back in the 1940's working at St. Vincent Hospital with the Grey Nuns. She truly loved that job. After the war she worked in a number of other jobs and finally ended up at a company called Impact, a job she truly enjoyed going to each day. She made so many friends there, pepple who enjoyed being with and around her. When Mother retired the entire Impact staff made our mother "Queen For A Day". She thought she was going out for dinner but she walked into a gala party for her. They decked her out with a bright red cloak, a beautiful crown and scepter. One of her comments during the event was "If I live to be a 100 years old, which I am not far from, I will never find more caring people than everyone here at Impact", and she went on to thank Mr. Harbal and Gayle and all who had a part in her retirement party and "Queen For A Day". After that she sure felt like a Queen.
