BERNARD G. PEARSON, 75, of Plant City died Friday at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. A native of Dekalb, Ill., he moved to this area in 1986 from Genoa, Ill. He was a retired farmer and member of the Masons, Shriners and Hope Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; two sons, Gerald of Fulda, Minn., and Allen of Dundee, Minn.; two daughters, Gloria Crawford of Estill Springs, Tenn., and Nancy Lintner of Westbrook, Minn.; a brother, Glen of Genoa; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. CHARLES C. SCHNEIDER, 93, of Tampa died Friday. A native of Hudson, N.Y., he moved to this area in 1914. He was a machinist, former employee of Tampa Ship Repair and Dry Dock, and member of Riverside Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Daisy Hurst; two daughters, Mary Lee Winkler of Graham, N.C., and Marilyn Nadler of Greenbrae, Calif.; a sister, Bertha Moore of Tampa; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. JAMES A. SHIPMAN, 74, of Brooksville died Thursday at Vencor Transitional Hospital. A native of Palma Sola, he moved to Brooksville from Tampa in 1986. He is survived by three sons, Charles A. of Lakeland, Jim, and Glen of St. Augustine; a brother, Donald of Temple Terrace; a sister, Louise Todd of Lakeland; and four grandchildren.
