CLIFFORD W. HAGEN JR., 54, of Tampa died Tuesday. A native of Bradenton, he was a longtime resident of Tampa. He was a merchandise buyer for Montgomery Ward, English teacher at Plant High, author and member of the Ellenton Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Elaine T.; two sons, Patrick Daniel of Tampa and Clifford III of Pensacola; two stepsons, John Paul Smallwood and Christopher M. Smallwood, both of Tampa; and a granddaughter. Abbey Parklawn Funeral Home, Clearwater.

He is survived by his wife, Juliet; two sons, Daniel Eugene and David Franklin; both of Lithia; two brothers, Earl D. of Lakeland and Freddie Eugene of Mulberry; a sister, Linda Faye Byers of Mulberry; and two grandchildren.
