Collette Wehrman, 86 Inverness

Collette Wehrman, 86, Inverness, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., she moved to Inverness in 1989 from Ocala.

She was a production manager with the Eastman Kodak Co.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Norman A. Wehrman of Inverness; three sons, Gary, Artie and Tom Wehrman, all of Long Island, N.Y.; four daughters, Jean and Eileen Lorio and Christine Yederlinic, all of Long Island, N.Y., and Carol Wehrman of Kingston, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Franklin H. Downward Sr. A service of remembrance for Franklin H. Downward Sr., 85, St. Petersburg, will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 18, 2003, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Beverly Hills. Friends may call from noon until the time of service.

Janet Block, 69 Hernando

Janet M. Block, 69, Hernando, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Hernando.

Born June 21, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to William and Helen Schultz, she came here in 1973 from Brookpark, Ohio.

She was a homemaker and a member of VFW Post 4252 Ladies Auxiliary, Hernando. She was Protestant.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Holt in 1980 and Nicholas Holt in 1981.

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Cergol of Middleburg Heights, Ohio; a sister, Betty Lettie of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren; and companion, Walter Wade of Hernando.

Colleen Bradbury, 42 Seminole

Colleen Ann Bradbury, 42, Seminole, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in St. Petersburg.

Born in Phoenix, Ariz., she grew up on Long Island, N.Y., and moved to Port Richey as a teen in 1977, graduating from Hudson High School in 1980. She then moved to Tampa and lived there for 13 years while attending the University of South Florida. She then moved to Inverness, where she resided for a short time. She moved to Seminole, where she and her husband were married on Starlite Princess off the coast of St. Petersburg.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She enjoyed singing. She also enjoyed sports, especially track and field events during high school.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Hopper, in 1985.

Survivors include her husband of five years, Keith R. Bradbury of Seminole; daughter, Heather Ashley Bradbury of Seminole; parents, Ernest and Janice (Girard) Hopper of Hernando; four brothers, Sean Hopper, Timothy Hopper and Brenden Hopper, all of Hernando and Ernest Hopper II of Inverness; two sisters, Christine Hopper of Dunnellon and Kelly Anne Hopper of Ocala; and many nephews and nieces.

Audrey Carlisle, 86 Ocala

Audrey Ruth Carlisle, 86, Ocala, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, in Ocala.

Born in Dunnellon, she moved to Ocala in 1979 from Miami.

She was a retired registered nurse employed by Miami Children's Hospital and St. Luke in Jacksonville.

She served in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps during World War II.

She was a member of Coventry Episcopal Church in Ocala, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the Confederacy and past member and treasurer of the Florida Nursing Association.

She was predeceased by her brother, Al Kay Carlisle, and a nephew, Lawrence Keith Carlisle.

Survivors include a nephew, James Carlisle of Jacksonville; and a niece, Janice Turjillo of Bernalillo, N.M.

Louise Craig, 92 Crystal River

Louise Trimbath Craig, 92, Crystal River, former Dunnellon resident, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, in the Crystal River Health and Rehabilitation Center of Crystal River.

A native of Uniontown, Pa., she was born Sept. 2, 1910, to Edmund and Emma Trimbath. She came to Florida in 1978 from California.

She retired from the Shell Oil Company in New York City with 22 years of service.

She was a graduate of Columbia University.

She was a former member of the Main Street Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Craig Jr., on Dec. 30, 1991.

Survivors include one brother, Oliver Trimbath; one sister, Dorothy Boots; nieces and nephews.

Boris Czubaroff, 88 Beverly Hills

Boris Czubaroff, 88, Beverly Hills, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Beverly Hills.

Born Feb. 23, 1915, in Radom, Poland, to Ivan and Rimma (Eshkova) Czubaroff, he came here in 1980 from Atlanta, Ga.

Mr. Czubaroff was a retired professor of mechanical engineering for Ebasco Services Inc.

He was Eastern Orthodox.

Survivors include his wife, Janina Marinsky Czubaroff of Beverly Hills; one son, Valentine Czubaroff of Philadelphia, Pa.; and two grandchildren.

William Davenport, 64


William Lee Davenport, 64, Hernando, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, at his home following a lengthy illness.

Born June 11, 1938, in Oliver Springs, Tenn., to Vence L. and Carrie (Patterson) Davenport, he came here in 1999 from Toledo, Ohio.

Mr. Davenport was a retired sawmill worker in the lumber industry.

He was Baptist.

He is survived by his sister, Linda Nevills of Hernando; and several nieces and nephews.

Harold Frey Jr., 55 Lecanto

Harold R. Frey Jr., 55, Lecanto, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at Citrus Health and Rehabilitation Center, Inverness.

Born Dec. 8, 1947, in Hamlet, Ohio, to Harold and Marcella Frey, he came here in 1972 from Port Charlotte.

Mr. Frey served in the U.S. Navy in Vietnam.

He was employed as an auto mechanic at Olsen Tires in Spring Hill.

Survivors include his mother, Marcella Frey of Bostic, N.C.; one son, Roger Vickers of Citrus Springs; two daughters, Angela Hirsch of Crystal River and Merilee Vickers of Beverly Hills; and six grandchildren.

Margaret Hawkesworth, 76 Beverly Hills

Margaret J. Hawkesworth, 76, Beverly Hills, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, in Beverly Hills.

A native of Yeovil, Somerset, England, she came to Florida 35 years ago from Los Angeles, Calif.

She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo several times a week, knitting, crocheting and needlepoint.

She was Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Harry Hawkesworth; and her brother, Rick Baker, in 2002.

Survivors include two sons, Curtis Parker of Davie and Dennis Parker of Ocala; two daughters, Margaret Hancock of Beverly Hills and Patty McKean of Inverness; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces.
