LEON E. ALDERMAN, 70, of Largo died Tuesday at Morton Plant Hospital. A native of Plant City, he moved to the area from Gainesville in 1987. He was a retired switchman for Southern Bell, a Navy veteran of World War II, an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Clearwater. He is survived by his wife, Cora; a son, Edward of Miami; a daughter, Linda Jones of Thomasville, Ga; three sisters, Susan Bush of Tampa, Mary Myers of Largo and JoAnn Whale of Seffner; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. EDWARD J. CADES, 93, of Sun City Center died Wednesday at home. A native of Lithuania, he moved to the area from Dade County in 1988. He was a watchmaker.
