VIOLET P. BURNEY, 79, of Holiday died Friday at her home. A native of Vernon, Texas, she moved to this area last year from Houston. She is survived by a daughter, Patricia Sensat of Holiday; five grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren. Faupel Funeral Home, Port Richey.

RENA ELLIS, 89, of New Port Richey died Friday at IHS nursing home in Tarpon Springs. She was born at sea en route to the United States and moved to this area in 1971 from Kingston, N.Y. She was a member of Eastern Star in Kingston and B'nai B'rith, both in Kingston, and the Beacon Square Civic Association, and Jewish. She is survived by a son, Burt A. of Palestine, Ill.; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. North/Meadowlawn Funeral Home, New Port Richey.

She is survived by a son, Ernest Anderson of West Milford, N.J.; two stepsons, Joseph Femia of Spring Hill and Thomas Paul of Long Island; a daughter, Constance Spallino of Spring Hill; a stepdaughter, Joanne Paul of New York; two brothers, Ignatz Orban of Shirley, N.Y., and Joseph Orban of Bernville, Pa.; three sisters, Anna Riovo of Alburtis, Pa., Rose Andres of Warminster, Pa., and Elizabeth Frevola of Breinigsville, Pa.; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three step grandchildren.
