ROGER L. HOPKINS, 84, of Tampa died Saturday. A native of Canaan, Vt., he moved to the Tampa area in 1942. He worked for Continental Can Co. and was a Mason and World War II Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Etta; two sons, Wayne Roberts of Spencer, Ind., and Walter Brady of Heflin, Ala.; two daughters, Bernadine Tracy of Vine Grove, Ky., and Rita C. Brandt of Dade City; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Garden of Memories Chapel, Tampa.

DOROTHY STARNES HULL, 83, of Plant City died Saturday. A native of Chattanooga, Tenn., she moved to the Tampa area in 1927. She was a homemaker, member of Hopewell Baptist Church and Plant City Women's Club. She is survived by her husband, Roy; two sons, Jim and Don, both of Plant City; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Hopewell Funeral Home, Plant City.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Jocke of Cincinnati; two sisters, Marie Ballard of Plant City and Cora Herndon of St. Petersburg; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He is survived by two sons, Mack Jr. of Miami and Guy Leon of Tampa; four daughters, Maxine of Gibsonton, Rose Cooper, Jean Valdez and Jane Hernandez, all of Miami; and 21 grandchildren.
