CLARENCE HOFSTETTER, 89, of Lakeland died Tuesday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. A native of Dalton, Ohio, he moved to this area 60 years ago. He was a mechanic with W.R. Grace Co. and member of New Home Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Lola Graham of Plant City, Diane Rogers of Lakeland and Marsha Corson of Trenton, N.J.; a sister, Irene of Orrville, Ohio; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. VIRGINIA F. McCLURE HUGUS, 81, of Seffner died Tuesday at University Community Hospital. A native of Scio, Ohio, she moved to the area in 1979. She was employed by the Boston Store in Erie, Pa., and was a member of Presbyterian Church of Seffner. She is survived by her husband, Russell; two daughters, Gloria Patterson of Columbus, Ohio, and Janet Heintzel of Brandon; a brother, Ronald McClure of Minerva, Ohio; two sisters, Nova Miller of Irondale, Ohio, and Neva Long of Carrollton, Ohio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
