FRANK J. SCODARI, 70, of Brandon died Saturday at Integrated Health Services. A native of New York City, he moved to the Tampa area fro m West Hempstead, N.Y., in 1985. He was a retired treasury agent, Navy veteran of World War II and member of Knights of Columbus and Nativity Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Lucille; a brother, Nicholas of Rockville, Md.; and a sister , Mary Brown of Connecticut. Hillsboro Memorial, Brandon.

ALFONSO SILVA, 73, of Tampa died Sunday. A native of Puerto Limon, Costa Rica, he moved to the Tampa area in 1952. He was a merchant marine and Catholic. He is survived by a daughter, Past ora of Tampa; and three grandchildren. Blount, Curry & Roel Funeral Homes, Armenia Avenue Chapel, Tampa.

ANNETTE J. VAN VALKENBURG, 61, of Tampa died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A lifelong resident of Tampa, she was a homemaker, member o f Eastern Star and Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Edwin G.; a son, Edwin G. III of Plant City; three daughters, Debra McCoy of Brandon, Donna Fentz of Tampa and Dianna Jordan of Seffner; her mother, Viola Wallace of Tampa; two sisters , Lillian Weaver of Seffner and Linda Lugo of Tampa; nine grandchildren; and a great- grandchild. She is survived by three daughters, Charlene Palmer of Sevierville, Tenn., Carol Northrup of Tampa and Cathleen Gillespie of Brandon; eight grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchild ren. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Gay; four sons, Richard of Blauvelt, N.Y., Thomas of the New York City, Michael and John both of Felton, Calif.; two daughters, Catherine of Redding, Calif., and Barbara Smalls of New York City; two stepsons, Gary Lauri of Wellsburg, W.V., and Galen Lauri of Fort Myers; a stepdaughter, Gaylene Lauri Elson of Wellsburg; his mother, Stella of New York City; a brother, Henry of Great Neck, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. STANLEY A. DEMCZYK, 86, of Tarpon Springs died Monday at home. A native of Brecksville, Ohio, he moved to this area 20 years ago from Berea, Ohio. He was a retired truck driver for Teamsters Union Local 407 in Cleveland, an Army veteran of World War II, Catholic, and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars both in Berea. He is survived by his wife, Angie; two sons, Stanley J. and Walter V. both of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Sonja Lee Michels of Maggie Valley, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and one great- grandson.
