MARSHA ADKINS, 52, of Tampa died Friday at Vencor Hospital. A native of Escanaba, Mich., she moved to the area from Weirsdale this year. She sold real estate and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. She is survived by a son, Cory of Leesburg; a daughter, Heidi Gamblin of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Laurie Berg of Escanaba and Dianne Smith of Racine, Wis; and three grandchildren. LEONARD ANDERSON, 73, of Tampa died Thursday at home. A native of Washington, Conn., he moved to the area eight years ago from East Granby, Conn. He was a salesman, Navy veteran and VFW member. JIMMY CARL CARDELL, 59, of Plant City died Friday at home. He was a native of Griffin, Ga., and moved to the area as a child. He was self-employed in commercial trucking, an Army veteran and member of Victory Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Faith; five sons, Jimmy Jr., James and William, all of Plant City, Harold Nichols of Crystal Springs and Bruce Debore of New York; five daughters, Angela Garrett and Mary Manning, both of Plant City, Debra Cole of Dover, Lorrie Nichols of Durant and Stephanie Phipps of Sanford; his father and stepmother, Melvin and Betty, both of Griffin; four sisters, Linda Madewell of Bowling Green, Ky., Marie Guevara of Tampa and Peggy McKinney and Margaret Scoggins, both of Plant City; 33 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
