JEAN PIERRE LEZIN, 64, of Tampa died Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he moved to the area from New York in 1989. He retired from Winn-Dixie. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; five sons, Pierre of Port-au-Prince, Evens of Boston, Carl of New Jersey and Peter and Rodney, both of Tampa; three daughters, Mireille andh Najlah, both of Jamaica Estates, N.Y., and NaDej Labranche of Chicago; his mother, Claire of Jamaica Estates; a sister, Luce Poux of Jamaica Estates; and nine grandchildren. JOHN W. PAULUS, 83, of Lakeland, formerly of Tampa, died Monday. A native of Los Angeles, he was a retired machinist. He is survived by two sons, Robert of Bedford, Texas, and Van of Brandon; two daughters, Dawn Firestine of Valrico and Carolie White of Powder Springs, Ga.; two brothers, E.F. of Warren, Ark., and Robert of El Dorado, Ark.; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Arango of Ruskin; a brother, Phillip Plummer of Hobart, Ind.; two sisters, Catherine Stalmah of Finleyville, Pa., and Anna Ranney of Venice; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. She is survived by two sons, Joseph of Plant City and William of Seffner; a daughter, Mary Dixon of Tampa; a brother, Leon Shaw of Chickamauga, Ga.; a sister, Mary Gray of Chattanooga; five grandchildren; and seven great- grandchildren.
