DOROTHY M. AVILA, 57, of Gibsonton died Friday at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. A native of New York, she was a longtime resident. She was an assembly line worker and Protestant. She is survived by a son, Nick of Tampa; two daughters, Elizabeth Burnett of Jonesboro, Ga., and Christina Dorminy of Tampa; two brothers, Johnny Barbon and Pete Barbon, both of Brandon; four sisters, Alice Skriver of Gibsonton, DeeDee Barbon of Ohio, Linda Harvey of Brandon and Yolonda Barbon of Texas, and seven grandchildren.
