JOHN A. AMBUTE, 60, of Brandon died Monday at Brandon Regional Hospital. A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., he came to the area from Port Charlotte in 1993. He was a cabinetmaker for Ain Plastics and Catholic. He is survived by his wife, Penelope of Plant City; three sons, Adam of Brandon, Jason of Plant City and Scott Ambutavicz of Grand Rapids; two daughters, Michelle of Longmont, Colo., and Amanda of Australia; a brother, Robert of Grand Rapids; and five grandchildren.
