CANTRELL, Norman Joseph, 78, of Davenport, died October 26, 2001. Survived by four daughters; three sons; two sisters; 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Oak Ridge Funeral Home.

CARROLL, William J., 81, of Tampa, died October 17, 2001. Survived by sons, Paul and William; daughter, Anne; sister, Flora; brother, John; one grandchild and several nieces and nephews. ICS Cremation.

CLINE, Thelma M., 84, of Winter Haven, died October 23, 2001. Survived by husband, Christian. Services 11:00 a.m., October 30, at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Crisp-Coon F.H.

DEE, Donald D., 71, of Tampa passed away Sunday, October 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Beatrice `Bea`; three daughters, Donna Grimes and her husband, Ed of Orange Park, Fla., Bonnie Dee- Windom and her husband, Dan of Atlanta, Ga., Laurie Dee of Tampa, Fla.; brother, Jimmy Dee and his wife, Margaret of Tampa, Fla.; two sisters, Esther Schreifels of Tampa, Fla., Kathleen Schreifels and h er husband, John of Tampa, Fla.; five grandchildren, Kerry Grimes, Aaron Grimes, Amanda Windom, Danielle Windom and Brienna Windom; and several nieces and nephews. A native of Gibsonton, Pa., he has resided in the Tampa area since 1944. He was an equipment technician with GTE for 34 years, a member of I.B.E.W. Local No. 824, a U.S.Army veteran and a member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends this evening (Tuesday) from 6:00 til 8:00 p.m. at the Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd., with a 6:30 p.m. Vigil Service.

FELAN, Mary E., 77, of Tampa, died October 25, 2001. Survived by sons, Andrew Dumas and Gilbert Dumas; brother, Julio Perez; grandchildren, Carmela Stewart and Greg Dumas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, October 31, 2001 from 1-2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Orangehill Cemetery.

FLOYD, Lizzie Sarah, 84 of Tampa passed away Saturday, October 27, 2001. She is survived by one son, William Lloyd Floyd and wife, Mary Helen of Tampa; one daughter, Levitia Young of Tampa; one brother, Dewey Clark of Helena, Ga.; two sisters, Louise Ingram of Oviedo, Fla. and Lucille Howard of Helena, Ga.; five grandchildren, Randy Mumm and wife, Cheryl, James Mumm, Robert Floyd and wife, Gail , Kathy Cianci and husband, Tino and Sharon Des Champs; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Floyd was a native of Georgia, and retired from Standard Cigar Factory. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 31, at 10:00 a.m. at the Glass funeral Home Chapel. Charles E. Seal, Pastor of Waters Avenue Baptist Church, will officiate. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. Internment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

FRANTZ, Bobbie Kiyoko, 68, of Brandon passed away Sunday, October 28, 2001. She is survived by her husband, Eugene Louis; son, Carl Frantz of Roseville, Calif.; two daughters, Theresa Kiyoko Hewlett of Tampa, Fla. and Kathleen Chiyoko Frantz of Nashville, Tenn; and two grandchildren, Justin David and Jordan Alexander Frantz. She has resided in the Tampa area since 1978 coming from Osaka, Japan, she voluntered in the community whenever she could even when she was sick. A Memorial service will be conducted 4:30 p.m. Tuesday (today) at the Stowers Brandon Chapel. The family will receive friends one half hour prior to service. Those who wish may make contributions to the American Cancer Society in Bobbie's name.

HAMEL, Levi P., 95, died October 27, 2001. He is survived by three brothers, Albert and Joseph of Florida, and Charles of New Hampshire; a sister, Blanche of Massachusetts; three daughters, Patricia and Jean of Florida, and Gerta of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; numerous great-great-grandchildren; and extended friends and family. JINKS, Helen I., born July 16, 1908, passed away Friday, October 26, 2001. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Strous; two grandchildren, Julie Rodriguez, Donna Lazzara and husband Steve; two great- grandchildren, Michael Rodriguez, Daniel Strous and wife Summer; one great-great- grandchild; Gavin Dean Strous. She will be greatly missed. Graveside Services well be held in Adelphi, Ohio.

JOHNSON, Juanita Doss `Jo`, widow of the late George W. Johnson, died October 27, 2001 at Big Bend Hospice in Tallahassee, Fla after a long decline. She would have been 87 November 15, 2001. She is survived by her only child, Tallahassee, Florida attorney, Barrett G. Johnson; her sister, Mrs. Ray Broerman of Indianapolis, Ind.; her brother, Dr. Wayne Doss of Springfield, Mass.; her grandson, Ca ptain G. W. Jett Johnson, USMC; her granddaughter, Jennifer Johnson Davis; three great- grandchildren; a niece and three nephews. Mrs. Johnson was born in Evansville and was a 1932 graduate of Bosse High School. She and the late Mr. Johnson, who was from New Harmony, Fla.,lived in Tampa for many years, where both were active in civic and educational affairs. She was a member of the New Harmony Ord er of the Eastern Star for over 50 years. Interment will take place in Maple Hill cemetery in New Harmony, Fla. on Wednesday, following services at the Johnson Memorial Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will take place immediately prior to the services.

METCALF, Reba L., of Tampa, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2001. Mrs. Metcalf was preceded in death by her husband, E. M. `Dick` Metcalf. She is survived by her son, Jim and wife, Marlene of Tampa; two grandchildren, Mike and Greg Metcalf and six great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church and presently a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in Ta mpa. Funeral Services will be held Thursday morning, November 1, at 10:00 a.m. at the Glass Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Contributions in her memory may be made to LifePath Hospice. PAYNE, Betty L., 62, of Lakeland, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2001 at Lakeland Hills Center. Survivors are her husband, Morris Payne; her sister, Vivian L. Davis of Ocala, Fla.; her dear friend, Jose Angel Cruz of Lakeland, several nephews and close dear friends. She was a native of Fort Meade and had been a resident of Lakeland since 1964. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. Graveside services will be Wednesday, October 31, at 11:00 a.m. at Elam Cemetery with Reverend Wade Louis Davis, III officiating.
