HICKS, Cynthia B., 69, of Zephyrhills, died November 18, 2001 at Hospice Care Center in Dade City. Survivors include two sons, William of Zephyrhills and Taylor of Plant City; and a daughter, Patricia G. Hicks of Hamilton, N.J. A New Jersey native, she moved here in 1988 and was a homemaker. Funeral Services are private.

KLABER, Thomas, 49, passed away on November 21, 2001. Thomas is survived by two sons, Derek and& Jamie Klaber, both of Dade City, Fla.; a brother, Danny Klaber of Middletown, Ohio,; two sisters, Janie Goodrich of West Chester, Ohio, and Sandy Madden and brother-in-law Fred Madden of Zephyrhills; a niece, Tina Miller and nephew, Freddy Madden and other nieces and nephews. A short time resident o f Zephyrhills, Fla., he spent most of his life in Middletown, Ohio. Thomas was employed at General Electric, Cinn., Ohio. His trade was an electrician but his love was music. He played the guitar with various bands thru the years. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24, 2001.

MENCHEY, Terry, 88, of Holiday, died November 19, 2001. Survived by brother, Frank Branda; sisters, Julia Rammel and Florence Szumnarski; three nephews and three nieces. Dobies F.H.

SULLO, Nicholas, 61, of New Port Richey, died November 20, 2001. Survived by wife, Barbara; daughters, Kim Sainsbury, Vicki Conrad and Nikole Sullo and two grandchildren. Dobies F.H.

BLACK, Douglas M., 60, died November 17, 2001, in Columbia Falls, Maine. He was born June 19, 1941 in Trilby, Florida and for 38 years has preached for churches in Florida, Georgia and Maine. During those years, Mr. Black also operated a honey farm and a farm machinery business. He has preached for the Milbridge Church of Christ since 1992 and was an elder. Mr. Black served as president of Wash ington-Hancock Farm Bureau, was a director for Maine Farm Bureau, was on the American Farm Bureau Apiary Board, and served as a Columbia Falls selectman. Before moving to Maine, he was an elder for the Trilacoochee Church of Christ, was president of the Orange Blossom Beekeepers Association, and was president of the Trilby Cemetery Association. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Martha; and t wo children, Scott (Laura) Black of Dade City, and Lesley (John) Anderson of Minot, N.D. and their children, Anastasia and Kollin. Mr. Black is also survived by three brothers, George (Louise) of Lakeland, Walter of Trilby, and Daniel (Eloise) of Bradenton; and a sister Florence (Albert) Wooten of Trilby. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001 at the Trilacoochee Church of Christ with Bob Owen officiating. Interment will be in the Trilby Cemetery.

HART, William Henry born January 9, 1923 in Portland, Oregon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2001 at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife, Jean and daughter, Evelyn DeLuca of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; son, Michael Kaiser of, Kingsman, Ariz.; three grandchildren, Theresa and Carl Sullivan of Zephyrhills, Fla., Robert DeLuca of Tampa, Fla. and Joshua Kaiser of Minnesota ; and one great- grandchild, Hannah Sullivan of Zephyrhills, Fla. (that was his pride and joy). William was a Veteran and a retired Boiler- maker from Chicago, Ill. He moved to Dade City, Fla. in 1983. William loved the sport of bowling, and also loved all religious faiths, but was especially fond of the Pentecostal, and enjoyed attending the Pentecostal Church of God in Dade City. Pastor Wade Tay lor will officiate a Memorial Service 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 24 at Whitfield Funeral Home in Zephyrhills. William will be put to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. William had many friends and was loved by everyone who knew him, and will be deeply missed. BLACK, Douglas M., formerly of Trilby, died November 17, in Columbia Falls, Maine. He was a minister for the Church of Christ for 38 years. He is survived by his wife, Martha, and children, Scott and Lesley. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, at Trilacoochee Church of Christ with interment at Trilby Cemetery.

BOWEN, Stephen Ozee, 60, of Plant City passed away Sunday, November 18, 2001 in Mesa, Ariz. Preceded in death by his parents. Steve is survived by his wife, Phyllis Charlene; two sons, Eric Stephen and Kevin Harold of Tampa, Fla.; two step- daughters, Cathy Beckner of Jacksonville, Fla. and Lois Legg of Beckley, W. Va.; two brothers, Marc Hayes of Crystal River, Fla. and his twin brother, Peter Goudy of Winter Haven, Fla.; one sister, Susan Bowen Blackford of Mattoon, Ill.; and five step-grand- children. A native of Mattoon, Ill., he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and worked in the manufactured home business. Graveside services will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell with Reverend Harry H. Holloman officiating and military Honors wi ll be conducted by Sumter County Honor Guard. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00 til 4:00 p.m. at the Marsicano-B. Marion Reed-Stowers Funeral Home, 4040 Henderson Blvd. Flowers are acceptable or those who wish may make contributions to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in his memory.

BURTON, James (Sessil), 77, of Tampa, died November 15, 2001 at the James A. Haley V.A. Hospital. Born in Tampa, Fla., Mr. Burton is survived by son James Burton, III;daughter Cherlyn Burton- Hemming- way; nine grand- children; nine great-grand- children; devoted cousin Leroy Lockett and a host of friends. He was predeceased by wife, Margaret Cooper-Burton. Memorial service will be held at Orange Blossom Hall (B-Beautiful), 3222 34th Street, Tampa, Sunday, November 25 at 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Florida National Cemetery.

MAROLDY, Josephine, 87, passed away November 19, 2001 in Tampa. She is survived by her son, Thomas Maroldy. Born in Cosby, Tenn., she was a Baptist, a homemaker, a member of the American Legion-Post #139 and a United States Army Veteran. MOLINA, Oscar P., 92 of Tampa passed away on Monday, November 19, 2001 at St. Joseph's Hospital. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, Sarah Molina; two daughters, Angela L. Molina and Norma M. Molina; sister Dalia Jimenez and grandson, Rigo Molina. He was a devoted husband and father. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2001. SALIM, Alan William, 38, passed away November 19, 2001. He was born in Rialto, Calif. and raised in Seven Hills, Ohio. He graduated from Normandy High School, Parma, Ohio; attended the University of Akron, Akron, Ohio; and graduated from the University of South Florida Summa Cum Laude with a bachelors degree in Engineering Technology in 1988. STEVENS, Sr., Dr. James Lowel, 51 of Plant City died November 21, 2001. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Margaret; sons, Gregory, Eric, and James L. `Trey` III all of Plant City; parents, James and Lorraine Steven Sr. of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Patti Stevens and Karen Stevens both of Austin, Texas; nieces, Tracy and Samantha Waldroup, Kimmie and Ali Banks, Samantha Black and Cynthia Phil lpot; and nephews, Chris, Alan, and A.J. Black, David and Matthew Crow. He was preceded in death by sister, Pamela Stevens Crow. He graduated from Chamberlain High School in 1968, from FSU in 1972 where he was a member of the Varsity Club Swim Team, and from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1976. He was an avid Seminole fan. He was associated with Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity, Ameri can Dental Association, West Coast Dental Association, and Polk County Dental Association. He was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church where he served on the vestry as well as Jr. and Sr. Warden. He was an Eagle Scout and served as Scout Master for Troop 733. He coached many recreational soccer and basketball teams through or with the Plant City recreational Dept. He coached the Plant City Swi m Club in 1977. Dr. Stevens died at home after a long and courageous battle with melanoma. He was known as someone who touched the lives of many through his dental practice of Conway & Stevens, and his association with children through scouting and sports. He remained an inspiration to all who knew him. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2001 at the Stevens ho me on 903 Pinedale Drive. VAUTERS, Sean D., 21, of Tampa, Florida, died on Saturday, November 17, 2001. CASTLE, Elizabeth Toy, age 102 of West Jefferson, N.C., formerly of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Wednesday, November 21, 2001, at the Jefferson Care Center. Mrs. Castle is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Wheatley of West Jefferson, N.C.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Castle was born on March 4, 1899 in Akron, Ohio, to Elias and Daisy Cummins Toy. She was preceded in death by he r husband, Homer Castle. Mrs. Castle lived and worked in Miami, Fla. before moving to Honolulu, Hawaii. She lived and worked in Honolulu for 42 years, had had recently moved to West Jefferson, N.C. to be with her family. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Guy C.; four sons, Guy Philip Million of Arlington, Va., John Douglas Million of Singapore, Thomas Rambaut Million of Boonville, Mo. and Stephen Collins Million of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Phillip and Richard Erb of Springfie ld, Mo. and Robert Erb of Whitby Island, Wash.; two sisters, Helen Leonard of Champaign, Ill. and Mildred Gilbert of Springfield, Mo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was born in Cedar Gap, Mo. and moved to Sun City Center in 1981 from Boonville, Mo. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. John the Divine Episcopal Church. She was a member of the Columbia Country Club in Columbia, Mo. and Caloosa Golf and Country Club in Sun City Center. She enjoyed playing bridge and earned the title of Life Master Duplicate Bridge Player. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
