A lifelong resident of the Tampa area and he was a boilermaker fo r 40 years with Local No. 433. He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran, serving in the Cannon Company 422th Infantry and was the recipient of the Purple Heart and a Good Conduct Medal. PLEMONS, Carl E., 80, a retired salesman for Tinney Cadillac, where he worked for 20 years, died Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla. He was born November 3, 1921 in Rangold, Ga. Mr. Plemons came to Lakeland in 1925 from Rangold. He served in the Navy during World War II.
