Born November 11, 1950 in Atmore, Alabama. On July 28, 2003 he left on his journey to his final resting place. For those who knew Steve, know that he was a quiet man, but his lack of words didn't mean that he wasn't full of kindness, caring, wisdom, giving and all of the qualities that make a wonderful husband, father and friend. For twenty-seven years he was my rock. Our marriage produced five beautiful children Alvin, Steven, Lisa, Carrie and Karl all of Ft. Myers, Florida. One daughter Debbie of Huntsville, Texas from a prior marriage, three sisters, one brother, two grandchildren, Cody and Adriana, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews, cousins and friends too many to name. His love's were his family, music, riding his motorcycle and hard work. There was never a child that entered his home that wasn't loved just like his own. Steve darling there won't be a day that goes by that I won't think of you and miss you and long to see you once more. The memories of our years together will bring our family the comfort and peace that we so desperately seek during this time of sorrow.
