CHABOT, Charles `Billy`, 70, of New Port Richey, passed away at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He was born in Dover, N.J. on Jan. 4, 1932, and came here 15 years ago from Mine Hill, N.J. He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in New Port Richey, past president and treasurer of National Association of Retried Federal Employees Chapter #583 in New Port Richey, Knights of Columbus, life member of the American Legion in Mine Hill and a Korean War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons, William of Bellmaur, N.J., and and Joseph of Hibernia, N.J.; four sisters, Theresa Moylen of New Port Richey, Margaret Komar of Fredericksburg, Va., Claire Miller of Randolph, N.J., and Helen of Pennsylvania. Visitation will be Sunday 2-4 p.m. and the funeral Mass will be Monday at 10:30 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

DECKER, William , 67, of Dade City, died Friday, November 8, 2002 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he moved to Dade City in 1978 and was a retired construction worker. Survivors include his wife, Marie; two sons, William Decker, Jr. and Charles Paul Decker, both of Indianapolis; three daughters, Marsha Clubs and Bridgett Boniga, both of Indianapolis and Lawana Baker of Hilliard, FL; two stepchildren, Lynn Loggins of Alabama and Tammie Kay Loggins-Melly of Dade City; a brother, Charles Lester Decker, Jr. of Goshen, Indiana; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon.

EMERSON, Helen M., (nee Corder), 80 years old, of Wesley Chapel, passed away Friday, November 08, 2002 at the home of her daughter surrounded by loved ones. Born in Fagus, Missouri, she moved to Wesley Chapel in 1986 from Westland, Michigan. She was a member of Victorious Life Church, where she was known as a prayer warrior. She is survived by a sister, Wihemina Patton (Albert), of Old Town; and brother, Charles Keith Corder (Ann) of Old Town; and two daughters, Rosa Shmidt (Jerry) of Clearwater, and Judith Bozeman (Larry) of Wesley Chapel; two sons, Marvin Emerson, Jr. (Peggy), of Stockbridge, Michigan, and Larry Emerson (Karen) of Howell, Michigan; 13 grandchildren, Victoria Scott, Wesley J. Benefield, both of Largo, Randall Benefield USAF, Germany, Kathryn Lontakis of New Port Richey , Patrick Plamondon of Tampa, Rachel Bright of Lutz, Daphne Davis of Cullman, Alabama, Grant Plamondon of Tampa, Michael Emerson, Garden City, Emily Taylor of Plymouth, Courtney Emerson of Stockbridge, Michigan, Aaron Emerson of Belleville, and Seth Emerson of Howell, Michigan; and 13 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Tristen Scott, Raymond, Vanessa and Russell Benefield, Nathan, Daniella, and Brianna Turpin, Cameron and Carter Bright, Moriah and Charity Davis, and Lucas Emerson. She taught all of her family to be loving and considerate of others, but most of all faith in a living God. She will be fondly and lovingly remembered by all whose lives were touched by her generosity and cheerful spirit. Funeral Services will be held at Victorious Life Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 12th , 2002 with Pastor Ed Russo officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2-6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 3-8:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery following the service.

HAMILTON, George F., of New Port Richey, died Thursday, November 7, 2002 at Community Hospital in New Port Richey. He was born in Pittsfield, Mass., and moved here in 1992 from Newburgh, Ind. He was a Civil Engineer and a member of the Episcopal Church. Survivors; daughter, Elaine Stotts of New Port Richey; one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Boonville, Ind., and was an Army Veteran of World War II. MYERS, Robert N., 80, of Zephyrhills passed away November 8, 2002 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Myers of Zephyrhills; three sons, Jerry L. Myers and Daniel M. Myers, both of Taylor, Michigan, and James A. Myers of Zephyrhills; a daughter, Karen Sue Myers Gobel of Lacon, Ill.; a sister, Marjorie Myers Lein of Edwardsburg, Michigan; ten grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mr. Myers was born June 20, 1922 in Berrien Springs, Michigan and came to Zephyrhills in 1986 from Taylor, Michigan. He was an Army Veteran; member of the Purple Heart Club #87 and a commercial freight truck driver.

Survivors include two stepsons, Clarence Sims and his wife, Adele of New York and Bobby Lenton of Georgia; his children, Katheren Southward and her husband, Billy, Lenola Penix, both of Dade City, Delores Penix of New York, Roberta Penix, Cheryl Wermack and her husband, Wayne, Robert Penix, Jr. and his wife Felecia, all of Dade City, Marilyn Comacho and her husband, Jose of Chicago, Alvin Penix and his wife, Deina of Tampa, Robin Penix and her husband, Clinton of Dade City, Mark Penix and his wife, Geneva of Zephyrhills, and Bernard Penix and his w ife, Janet, in the military in Greece; 38 Grandchildren; 24 Great Grandchildren; and his children's mother, Essie Mae Penix. He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Parrie Penix, and by a brother, William Penix. Funeral Services will be held at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16th, 2002. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15th, 2002.

Carol Roth; great-nephews, Thomas S. Roth and Kenneth K. Roth. Ms. Coughlin is a graduate of Barnard College. She worked as a Buyer, Personnel Director, Public Relations Manager, and Fashion Coordinator for Macy's in New York, Crowler and Milner in Detroit, and Stix Baer & Fuller in St. Louis. She also served as President of the Tampa Democratic Women's Club, Chairman of the League of Women Voters, Public Relations Advisor to the Civil Defense Director of Hillsborough County and Officer of the American Red Cross. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2002, 9:00 a.m. at the Garden of Memories Cemetery.

EVERS, Lawrence C. `Preacher`,of tampa, born on Dec. 11, 1918 died Nov. 8, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Mildred C.; stepchildren, Patsy Simcox, Nancy Knox, Karen Goodwin and Donald Coffman; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; brothers, Johnny C. and Richard E.; and sister, June Carpenter. He was preceded in death by son, David C. Born in Mulberry, reared in Lakeland he worked over 34 years for Kraft Foods. He was a 1937 graduate of Lakeland High School and a US Army Sgt. in World War II. Services will be held 12 Noon Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at the funeral chapel with a visitation one hour prior. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 16 at 10 a.m. at Hillsdale Baptist Church.

BOTT, Frank A., 83, of Hudson, Florida, died Friday, November 8, 2002 at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, Hudson, Fla. He was born in New York City, New York and moved here from Sloatsburg, N.Y. in 1991. He retired in 1977 as a machinist for Grant Hardware Company, Nyack, N.Y. after 28 years of service. He was of the Catholic Faith. Survivors; wife of 49 and 1/2 years, Patricia `Pat` Bott of Hudson; two sons, Frank, Jr. of Sloatsbury, N.Y. and Edward Bott of Leroy, N.Y.; daughter, Linda D. Palefsky of Hudson; two brothers, James of Huntington Station, N.Y., and Henry Bott of Long Island City, N.Y.; three sisters, Katherine Borter and Ann Frey, both of Spring Hill, Fla., and Rose Shane of Astoria, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Brian and Tyler Palefsky of Hudson.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Mildred; one son, Lawrence Breiner of Sound Beach, Long Island, New York; and two grandchildren. Survivors include a son, Fred Molby of Port Richey; two daughters, Patricia Finlan of New Port Richey, and Barbara Young of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Samuel Huot of Green Bay, Wisconsin; and a sister, Stella Fassbender of Marquette; five grandchildren, four step grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

A native of Madisonville, Kentucky, she was a long time resident of Plant City and moved to Dade City in 1986. She was retired from Atlantic Coast Line Railroad and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Plant City. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Alice Altman of Dade City; a son, Thomas Earl Livingston of Orlando; two sisters, Jean Moore of Stuart and Frieda Beeny-Jones of Payson, Ariz.; ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Norman Livingston, a daughter, Norma Jean Thomas and a son, James Robert Livingston. Funeral Services will be held in t he Cornerstone Chapel in Plant City at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2002 with Reverend Richard Bills officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Plant City.
