EDMUND J. BOYLE, 81, of Tampa died Monday at University Community Hospital. A native of New York City, he moved to Tampa in 1945. He was a veteran of World War II and Catholic. He is survived by three sons, Michael J., Edmund M. and Phillip P., all of Tampa; a sister, Vera Mairo of Pompano Beach; six grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Duval Funeral Home, Tampa.

KATIE MAE CARPENTER, 86, of Lithia died Monday at home. A native of Gillette, she was a longtime resident of the area. She was a homemaker and member of Alafia Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, Arnold Roy Stanaland of Bradenton; three daughters, Anna Lee and Linda Joy Taylor, both of Fort Lonesome, and Caroline Ruth Tice of Mulberry; a brother, Edwin Moran of Tampa; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great- grandchildren. MARILYN B. COONEY, 59, of Portland, Conn., died Tuesday at South Florida Baptist Hospital. A native of Middletown, Conn., she was a winter resident of Plant City. She was a homemaker and attended St. Clement Catholic Church. ALFRED JOSEPH DeBLIECK, 60, of Clearwater died Monday at Clearwater Community Hospital. A native of Paterson, N.J., he moved to Clearwater in 1976 from North Haledon, N.J. He was a manager and funeral director for C.E. Prevatt Funeral Home, an Army veteran and member of St. Brendan Catholic Church. HELEN ISABELL WEBB DEAN, 63, of Knoxville, Tenn. died Sunday at Mount Carmel Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. A native of Smoky Valley, Ky., she was a former resident of Tampa. She was the head of housekeeping at University Community Hospital. She is survived by four sons, Archie, Arvil and Delmar, all of Florida, and Curtis Harold of Ohio; a daughter, Marcella Sutton of Florida; five brothers, Hansel, Randall and Paul Webb, all of Kentucky, Carl Webb of Florida and Richard Webb of Texas; three sisters, Dorothy Cooper and Dorine, both of Ohio, and Virgie "Vicki" Worboys of Florida; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. RITA DUFRESNE, 79, of Seffner died Monday at Crystal Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. A native of Cohoes, N.Y., she moved to the area nine years ago from Pinellas Park. She was a homemaker and member of Church of the Nativity. She is survived by two sons, William Jr. of El Prado, N.M., and Richard of Tarboro, N.C.; two daughters, Beverly Besanceney of Cambridge, N.Y., and Laurie Edelson of Seffner; a sister, Clara Partak of Cohoes; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. SALLIE R. PRICE, 92, of Tampa died Oct. 25 at home. A native of New York City, she moved to Tampa in 1981 from Sun City Center. She was a retired dietitian for Michigan State University, Presbyterian, an American Red Cross volunteer and member of Women's Club of America. ANTHONY REIS SR., 71, of Land O' Lakes died Friday while under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice House. A native of Fall River, Mass., he moved to Land O' Lakes in 1970 from Newark, N.J. He was a paint sprayer for Tampa Armature Works, member of Our Lady of the Rosary and was active in the band at Pine View Middle School and Land O' Lakes High School.
