EDWARD B. GARDINER, 73, of New Port Richey died Thursday in New Port Richey. A native of Pittsburgh, he moved to this area seven years ago from Baltimore. He was a retired draftsman for Texas Instruments, a Navy veteran of World War II, Protestant, and member of the American Legion in Baltimore. He is survived by his wife, Alys; three daughters, Linda Nuttall of Alexandria, Va., Constance of Baltimore, Md.; and Kathleen Heil of Fallson, Md.; and one granddaughter. North-Meadowlawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, Meadowlawn Chapel.

MARGARET GLASER, 95, of New Port Richey died Wednesday at Richey Manor Nursing Center in New Port Richey. She moved to this area 25 years ago from her native New York City. She was a retired telephone operator for Radio City Music Hall and Protestant. She is survived by two daughters, Jeanne Comolli and Lillian Kaiser of New York; two sisters, Mable Blum and Florence Herbert, both of New York; 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. SYLVIA GLICK, 76, of Port Richey died Thursday at North Bay Medical Center in New Port Richey. A native of New York City, she moved to this area 20 years ago from Seaford, N.Y. She was a registered nurse, a member of Hospice and volunteer for Deborah Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Martin; three sons, Ira of Hanover, N.H., Bruce of Huntington, N.Y., and Howard of Port Richey; and two grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Holiday.

VINA MORGAN GODDEAU, 101, of New Port Richey died Thursday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Malone, N.Y., he moved to this area 32 years ago from Columbia, S.C. He was an instructor/owner of LaBelle Beauty School in Columbia, a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 2284 in New Port Richey, and the West Pasco Art Guild. PASADENA HAYWARD, 89, of Plant City died Thursday at Manhattan Convalescent Center. A lifelong resident of Plant City, she was a homemaker and Baptist. She is survived by three sons, James B. of Brandon, J.D. of Anchorage, Alaska and Jerry of Tampa; two daughters, Joyce G. He was a retired machinist for Campbell Soup Company in Napoleon, an Army veteran of World War II; member of Peace Lutheran Church, and Michael J. Cicero American Legion Post 173 both in Holiday, and life member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 78 in New Port Richey. He is survived by his wife, Delora; a son, William H. of Plymouth, Mich.; a daughter, Judith A. HARVEY LEE KLINE, 68, of Land O' Lakes died Monday at home. A native of Philadelphia, he moved to this area 1 1/2 months ago from Cinnaminson, N.J. WILLARD H. SCHWANDT, 76, of Hudson died Wednesday at home. A native of Hadley, Mich., he moved here 11 years ago from Troy, Mich. He was a sergeant in the Troy Police Department, an Air Force veteran of World War II, a Presbyterian, a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Troy and Hudson, and the Metro Police Association. CHARLES MITTENDORF STEINARD, 86, died Wednesday at James A. Haley Veterans Administration Hospital. A native of Philadelphia, he moved to this area 19 years ago from Cornwall, N.Y. He was retired from Cornwell Press in Cornwall, an Army veteran of World War II, a member of Community United Methodist Church in Holiday, and former Boy Scout leader.
