MAVA I. PEROKOVICH, 78, of Safety Harbor died Thursday at The Arbors at Safety Harbor. A native of Staunton, Ill., she moved to this area in 1982 from Benton, Ky. She was a homemaker, a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 67 in Palm Harbor, Rebekah Lodge and White Shrine, both in Staunton and Presbyterian. She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Brachna of Safety Harbor; a sister, Elnora Nessl of Staunton; and two grandsons. Lakeview Chapel Funeral Home, Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater.

MARIE A. RIDER, 100, of St. Petersburg died Friday at Bon-Secours Maria Manor. A native of Albany, N.Y., she moved to this area in 1962 from Miami. She was a telephone operator for New York Telephone and a member of Ladies Auxiliary Barracks 155 Veterans of Foreign Wars World War I and St. Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. ELIZABETH ROLLINS) of St. Petersburg died Tuesday at Bay Pointe Nursing Pavilion. A native of Owensboro, Ky., she moved to this area in the late 1970s from Chicago. She retired from teaching at Robinson High School in Chicago after 30 years of service. She is survived by a daughter, Yvonne McElroy of St. Petersburg. Creal Funeral Home,. WILLARD H. SCHWANDT, 76, of Hudson died Wednesday at home. A native of Hadley, Mich., he moved here 11 years ago from Troy, Mich. He was a sergeant in the Troy Police Department, an Air Force veteran of World War II, Presbyterian, a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Troy and Hudson, and the Metro Police Association. He is survived by his wife, Florence; two sons, David R. of Fairfax Va. and Dennis M. of St. Petersburg; and six grandchildren. Family Funeral Care, Hudson.

EARL J. SHAFFER, 73, of Clearwater died Friday at Morton Plant Hospital. He moved to this area in 1982 from his native Homestead. He was a construction draftsman, an Air Force veteran of World War II, a member of Clearwater Elks, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion and Catholic. He is survived by two brothers, Thomas Ellsworth of Penn Hills Township, Pa., and Paul of Homestead; and two sisters, Mary Katherine Kohler of Bethel Park, Pa., and Jean DeCello of Homestead. LESTER SUTO, 87, of Largo died Wednesday at Arbors of Tampa. A native of Hungary, he moved to this area in 1972 from New York City. He was a retired yardman for Ironworkers Union Local 455 in Long Island City, N.Y., and a member of Orange Lakes Village Interdenominational Church. He is survived by his wife, Josephine; a stepson, A.
