H. JEFFREY SPAAY, 48, of Thonotosassa died Monday at University Community Hospital. A native of Chicago, he moved to the area in 1954 from Kenosha, Wis. He was a self-employed roofer, contractor and Navy veteran. He is survived by his parents, Harold H. and Norma of Hudson; and a sister, Paulette of Hudson. Marsicano-B. JAMES E. TRIBBLE Jr., 80, of St. Petersburg died Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital. A native of Atlanta, he moved to this area in 1970 from Chesapeake, Va. He was retired as a supervisor for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Virginia, Army veteran of World War II and Baptist. He is survived by a son, James E. III of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; a daughter, Judith Clausser of St. Petersburg; a brother, J.P. of Newport News, Va.; four sisters, Lucy Overton and Ella Hannah, both of Chesapeake, Geneva Gates of Las Cruces, N.M., and Gloria Alexander of Holiday; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. STEVEN MICHAEL WANAMAKER, 40, of Lakewood, Colo., died Saturday in Lakewood. He was a native of Arlington, Va., truck driver and Methodist. He is survived by a daughter, Genevieve of Lakewood; his father, H. Michael of Lutz; his mother, Ann of Springfield, Va.; and a sister, Janice of Springfield. DORA MAE WOOD, 84, of Lacoochee died Tuesday at East Pasco Medical Center. A native of of Bellwood, Ala., she moved to the area 56 years ago. She was a crate mill worker in Lacoochee; worked at Lykes Pasco Inc. in Dade City and a member of the Church of God. She is survived by five sons, Franklin, Robert J. and Nathen G., all of Lacoochee, Henry L. of Oxford, and James E. of St. Cloud; four daughters, Mary A. Tipton of Dade City, Helen G. Danner of Lakeland, Margaret L. Knight of Oil City, Pa., and Linda C. Dove of Lacoochee; 32 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; and five great- great-grandchildren. MARJORIE L. ZEITLER, 84, of Hudson died Monday at Columbia Regional Medical Center at Bayonet Point. A native of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., she moved to this area 30 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. She was the owner/operator of a cabinet shop, Presbyterian, and member of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by a daughter, Lelah J. HARRY ABEL ATWOOD, 87, of Palm Harbor died Monday at Regency Oaks Nursing Center. A native of Chicago, he moved to this area in 1969 from Lombard, Ill. He was a supervisor for Continental Can in Clearing, Ill., and Protestant. He is survived by his wife, Elvera; a daughter, Karen L. Yarro of Bellwood, Ill.; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. VERA M. COYNER, 99, of Belleair Bluffs died Monday at Mariner Health of Belleair. A native of Hidalgo, Ill., she moved to this area in 1989 from Lake Placid. She was a teacher at Smithwood Elementary School in Knoxville, Tenn., for 15 years and Methodist. She is survived by a son, W. David of Belleair Bluffs; three brothers, Lawrence Cowger of Newton, Ill., Roy Cowger of Mattoon, Ill., and Charles Cowger of Champaign, Ill.; a sister, Neva Bowman of Lake Placid; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. KATHRYN S. CROMARTIE, 92, of Clearwater died Monday at Mease Continuing Care in Dunedin. A native of Alva, she moved to this area in 1925 from Tampa. She was a secretary for First United Methodist Church in Clearwater, past worthy matron of Queen Esther Chapter 4 Order of Eastern Star, past president of South Ward Elementary School Parent-Teachers Association and Clearwater High School Parent- Teachers Association and a member of the senior board of the YMCA, Wesleyan Service Guild and First United Methodist Church in Clearwater. She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn Sarah Hall of Bradenton and Betty Jean Moore of Dunedin; a sister, Grace Ferqueron of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. CLINTON LaVERNE FORDYCE, 75, of Clermont, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Friday. A native of Maryland, he moved to Clermont in 1968 from St. Petersburg. He was a construction superintendent for Florida Power Corp., a veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Force, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6827 in St. Petersburg and a member of Masonic Lodge 139 F&AM in St. Petersburg, American Legion Post 0400 in Clermont, Order of Eastern Star Bethlehem Chapter 169 in St. Petersburg, Clermont-Groveland Elks Lodge 1848, Clermont Moose Lodge 1615 anbd South Lake Presbyterian Church in Clermont. He is survived by his wife, Norma G.; two sons, Stephen of St. Petersburg and Dulan Tabler of Vincennes, Ind.; two daughters, Shirley of St. Petersburg and Virginia Wonning of Orlando; two brothers, Donald V. of Maryland and Gearld of Ocala; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. WILMER F. "BILL" LOCKWOOD, 81, of Oldsmar died Wednesday at home. A native of Berwyn, Pa., he moved to this area in 1982 from Philadelphia. He was a sales manager for DuPont Corp., a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marine Corps, and a member of Northwood Presbyterian Church in Clearwater. He is survived by his wife, Nancy G. JOHNNIE `'BIG JOHN" THOMAS of St. Petersburg died Monday at Bayfront Medical Center. A native of Augusta, Ga., he moved to this area in 1944. He was a self-employed construction contractor, a veteran of World War II serving in the Army, a singer with the Traveling Singers in Augusta and the Golden Clouds in St. Petersburg and a member of Unity Temple of Truth. He is survived by two daughters, Gwanda Thompson and Tena Boykins, both of St. Petersburg; a niece and two nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins.
