LISA MAE RAMIREZ, 27, of Lithia died Thursday in Plant City. A native of Walton, she was a longtime resident of Lithia. She was a tortilla maker and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Israel; her parents, Charlie and Sara Jane Cowart of Lithia; four brothers, Franklyn Lee, Robert Lee, Charlie Lee and Jimmy Lee Cowart, all of Lithia; a sister, Janie Ann Mateo of Alabama; her paternal grandmother, Cora Bell Cowart of Marianna; and her maternal grandfather, Robert Lee Grant of DeFuniak Springs. THELMA FLYNN ROBERTS, 89, of Bradenton died Thursday at Suncoast Manor Rehabilitation. A native and longtime resident of Tampa, she recently moved to Bradenton.) She was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Frank of Tampa, Neil of Key West and Paul and Jim, both of Odessa; a daughter, Janet Brown of Bradenton; a sister, Hazel Birdsong of West Palm Beach; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. TERESA LaBARBERA SALARIO, 103, of Tampa died Thursday. A native of Rosario, Argentina, she moved to Tampa in 1903 from Alessandria de la Rocca, Sicily. She was a homemaker and Catholic. She is survived by three sons, Saverio of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Joe L. and Luigi, both of Tampa; a daughter, Katie Connell of Spring Hill; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. JESSE LeROY THOMAS, 78, of Tampa died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. A native of Felda, he moved to Tampa in 1936. He was a steel worker in shipping. JOHN T. "JAKE" WADSWORTH, 80, of Bonita Springs died Friday at Hope Hospice House in Fort Myers. A native of Tampa, he moved to Bonita Springs 10 years ago. He attended the Naples and Bonita Springs Church of God and was a Mason. VIRGINIA IRENE HAYES, 77, of Lakeland died Thursday at Trinity Health Care. She was a Pennsylvania native who moved to Florida 27 years ago. DARRELL DeWAYN THOMPSON, 19, of Auburndale died Thursday at Winter Haven Hospital. He was a Bartow native and lifelong resident of Polk County. He was a former sales clerk for Wal-Mart. Survivors include his mother, Janice Hegazy; sister, Tina Thompson; maternal grandparents, Hubert and Alice Williams, and paternal grandmother, Aline Gatlin, all of Auburndale. OTIS FINLEY WEAVER, 85, of Lakeland died Thursday at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was a native of Johnsonville, Ill., and moved to Florida from Urbana, Ill., seven years ago. He was a newspaper printer. He was a member of Crystal Lake United Methodist Church, Lakeland, and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Marian Weaver, Lakeland; two daughters, Joann Rudd, Deerfield, Ill., and Karen Burda, Scottsdale, Ariz.; two stepsons, William Frymire, Mancelona, Mich.; and Richard Frymire, St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. ALFRED CHARLES WINSLOW JR., 67, of Haines City died Wednesday at home. He was born in Cherry Valley, N.Y., and moved to Florida from Raleigh, N.C., in 1988. He was a retired foreman for Lane Construction Inc., Meriden, Conn., where he worked for 38 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Lake ALfred, a member of American Legion Post No. 8, and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Kay Winslow, Haines City; daughter, Sandra Winslow, Mohawk, N.Y.; two stepsons, Steve Shupe, Arnold, Md., and Ron Shupe, Ellicott City, Md.; two stepdaughters, Linda Rhoades, Fort Myers, and Peggy Mills, Woodbine, Md.; three sisters, Helen Peterson, Bainbridge, N.Y., Jean Keller, Cherry Valley, and Anne Perkins, Haines City; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. PAULINE ETHEL WUCKER, 69, a winter resident of Haines City, died Friday. She was a native of Hersey, Mich., and was a retired bookkeeper in the moving van and wholesale supply businesses.
