MAE E. POUND, 86, of Temple Terrace died Wednesday at University Community Hospital. A native of Webster, she moved to Temple Terrace in 1937. She was a homemaker and member of East Chelsea Baptist Church, Eastern Star and Temple Terrace Garden Club. She is survived by her husband, Ernest P.; a son, Robert E. of Marietta, Ga.; two daughters, Eulalia Hall of Tampa and Kate Grace Wilson of Lutz; a sister, Geneva Bourgeois of Tampa; 13 grandchildren; and 19 great- grandchildren. CHESTER DEAN RAY, 81, of Riverview died Friday at Columbia Brandon Regional Medical Center. A native of Nanty Glo,q Pa., he moved to Riverview in 1977 from Atlanta, Mich. He was a retired truck driver for the Teamsters, Army veteran of World War II and Protestant. He is survived by a daughter Donna M. Florka of Fort Myers; two sons, James D. of Madison Heights, Mich., and Robert R. of Algonac, Mich.; a brother, Jack of Nanty Glo; a sister, Velda "Sis" Towns of Oakdale, N.Y.; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. LOIS RUTH WHITNEY SULLIVAN, 77, of Castle Rock, Colo. died Monday in Littleton, Colo. A native of Buffalo, N.Y. she was a homemaker. She is survived by a daughter, Karen Jamison of Colorado; two sons, Gary and Greg, both of Colorado; two brothers, Harry Whitney of Florida and Robert Whitney of New York; and a grandchild. CLARA TODD YANKOVICH, 83, of Tampa died Friday. A native of Tuscola, Ill., she moved to this area in 1953 from St. Louis. She was a homemaker and member of Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Todd Burnett of Tampa; two brothers, Walt Pflum of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and Harold Pflum of Tuscola; two sisters, Madeline Stephens of Sun City Center and Rosalie Rund of Champaign, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. EDWARD T. YOUNG, 85, of Tampa died Friday. A native of Woburn, Mass., he was a longtime resident of this area. W. ELISE FORTNER, 91, of Tallahassee died Friday. A native of Hazelhurst, Ga., she was a longtime resident of the Plant City area before moving to Tallahassee. She was a homemaker and member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, William Joseph of Lakeland; three daughters, Libby Sue Morelock and Geraldine Pool, both of Tallahassee and Gaynell Pool of Bonifay; a brother, Carl J. VAUN NATHANIEL NICHOLS, 70, of Richland died Friday at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Richland. He was a retired superintendent for the citrus industry. He was a World War II Merchant Marines veteran and a member of the Richland Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his wife, Amelia; two sons, Mark and Shawn, both of Zephyrhills; a daughter, Judy Jackson of Richland; three brothers, Joe of Lacoochee, Samuel of Jonesboro, Ark., and Edward of Richland; two sisters, Viola Cruser of Lakeland and Irene Bush of Auburndale; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
