MARIE G. EDENFIELD NEWSOME, 70, of Tampa died Friday at University Community Hospital. A native of Rocky Mountain, N.C., she moved to Tampa 50 years ago from Grand Ridge. She worked at the concession stand at the Tampa Dog Track. She is survived by a son, Johnnie M. Jr. of Tampa; two daughters, Sonja Shifflett of Lakeland and Elaine Maria of Tampa; three sisters, Hazel Nelson of Lutz, Erma Lee Unsworth of Tampa and Elmetta Johnson of Grand Ridge; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. MARIE S. ROBERTS, 77, of Winter Haven died Thursday at home. A native of Franklin, Ohio, she came to this area from Ohio in 1946. She was a homemaker and Baptist. She is survived by a daughter, Ann Ruth Burns of Winter Haven; a son, David of Bainbridge, Ohio; a sister, Florence Whitehead of Eaton, Ohio; three grandchildren; and a great-grandson. NADINE J. WOMACK, 70, of Dundee died Thursday at Heart of Florida Hospital in Haines City. A native of Cutler, Ill., she moved to this area 10 years ago from Springfield, Ill. She was a retired factory parts assembler and Protestant. She is survived by her husband, Robert E.; two daughters, Debra DiBiase of St. Cloud and Sheila Williams of Percy, Ill.; a son, Robert Jr. of Kissimmee; two brothers, Charles Venus of Little Rock and James Venus of Memphis, Tenn.; and seven grandchildren. JIMMY RUSSELL WOODARD, 42, of Lakeland died Thursday at home. A native of Birmingham, Ala., he came to this area in 1990 from Leeds, Ala., and worked as a painter. He attended Family Worship Center and was an Army veteran. He is survived by a son, Scott of Lakeland; a daughter, Kelly D. of Knoxville, Tenn.; his mother, Pauline, and four brothers, John A. Jr., Steve, Ricky and Rex, all of Lakeland; and three sisters, Ann of Naples, Jane Atkins of Birmingham and Darlene Crowe of Anniston, Ala. Heath Funeral Chapel, Lakeland.

MEGAN E. CALDERON, 4, of St. Petersburg died Wednesday at All Children's Hospital. She moved to this area in 1995 from her native Miami. She was Catholic. She is survived by her father, Carlos of Miami; her mother, Mara Flannery of St. Petersburg; her paternal grandfather, Ricardo of Miami; her paternal grandmother, Magalis Perez of Miami; her maternal grandmother, Jean Flannery of Billerica, Mass.; and her maternal great-grandfather, James J. BARBARA P. CLEARY, 81, of St. Petersburg died Wednesday at Palms of Pasadena Hospital. A native of Peabody, Mass., she was a winter resident from Danvers, Mass. RONALD H. DALLESKE, 80, of Clearwater died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. A native of Youngstown, Ohio, he moved to this area in 1988 from Boca Raton. He retired as a certified public accountant for Youngstown Sheet & Tube,s was a member of Hillman Masonic Lodge in Youngstown and Clearwater Yacht Club and Protestant. He is survived by his wife, Betty J.; two sons, Ron L. of Seminole and Richard J. of Boardman, Ohio; a daughter, Janis L. Sherman of Boardman; and five grandchildren. OSCAR EDWARDS, 76, of Linwood, N.C. died Tuesday at Rowan Regional Hospital. He was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C. He was an employee of Lothridge Plumbing, an Army veteran of World War II and Korea War and a member of American Legion Post 8, Lexington Moose Lodge and Lakeview Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Beverly Jane Lanier; a son, Robert W. Orick of St. Petersburg; three daughters, Linda Faye Gieraltowski of Warren, Mich., Debra Louise Orick of Amelia, Ohio, and Lisa Jo Inman of Linwood, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren. FRANCIS X. EGAN, 79, of Clearwater died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital. A native of New York City, he moved to this area in 1981 from New Hyde Park, N.Y. He was a guidance counselor for John Glenn High School in Huntington, N.Y., a fireman in New York City, an Air Force veteran and a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church in Safety Harbor. He is survived by his wife, Eileen; a son, John F. of Clearwater; two daughters, Sharon Herbst of New Monmouth, N.J., and Kathy of Denver; a brother, Walter of Palm Harbor; and a sister, Loretta of White Plains, N.Y.; and four grandchildren. ARTHUR E. FITCH, 76, of Safety Harbor died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater. He moved to this area in 1959 from his native Belvidere, Ill. He was a retired employee of George Hunt Construction Co., an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Knights of Columbus in Pinellas Park and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park. MILDRED J. JOHNS, 91, of Clearwater died Thursday at Morton Plant Hospital. A native of Dows, Iowa, she moved to this area in 1969 from Waterloo, Iowa. She was a bookkeeper for Municipal Light & Power Co. in Ackley, Iowa, a bridal department salesperson for New York Fashions in Waterloo and Franelle Dress Shop in Clearwater, past national president of Wa-Tan-Ye Association in Waterloo, past president ofe Iowa Club in Clearwater and a member of Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem in Largo, AARP and First United Methodist Church in Clearwater. WALTER L. MASON, 87, of Clearwater died Wednesday at Mease Hospital Countryside in Safety Harbor. A native of Medford, Mass., he moved to this area in 1982 from Melrose, Mass. He retired from the Bank of Boston, was a member of King Solomon Masonic Lodge in Somerville, Mass., the Congregational Church in West Medford, Mass., ande Kirk of Dunedin.
