Mrs. Clara B. Harvard, 92, of 1400 W. 11th St., Panama City, Fla., passed away Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Harvard had been a resident of Bay County since 1970, coming here from Anaheim, Calif. She was a retired registered nurse, a member of The Christian Center and enjoyed China painting and oil painting. Mrs. Harvard is survived by: a sister, Mrs. Mary Ghormley of Panama City, Fla.; nephews, Mr. Gerald Mims and wife Mary Fay of Panama City, Fla., and Mr. Durwood Mims of Cedar Grove, Fla. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wes Odle officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Mr. Ronnie Mims, Mr. Larry Mims and Mr. Michael Mims.

JOSEPH JOHN NEVILLE
Mr. Joseph John Neville, 74, of Panama City, Fla., passed away Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home. Mr. Neville has been a resident of Bay County since 1991 coming here from Medford Lakes, N. J. He was a retired accountant for the U.S. Naval Aviation Supply, a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge of New Jersey, the Panama City NARFE Chapter 1305 and was of the Protestant faith. Mr. Neville is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mildred "Millie" Neville of Panama City, Fla.; and a son, Mr. John T. Neville of Seattle, Wash. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. today, Oct. 11, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Mutter officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Deborah Hospital Foundation, 1515 Boca Raton, FL, 33432-1953.

RICHARD LEE PERKINS
Richard Lee Perkins, 56, of 7131 S. Deerhaven Road, Panama City, Fla., died Oct. 10, 1999, at his home with his family after a long battle with cancer. He graduated from Oklahoma State University and was a supervising partner for Sonic Restaurants. Richard was an entrepreneur and had been in the restaurant business all of his life. He successfully built and operated 17 franchise restaurants for Ken's Pizza in the Midwest. He had been a resident of Florida for 15 years moving to Florida from Joplin, Mo. He was a member of the Forest Park United Methodist Church, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary International. Richard is survived by: his wife, Marsha Perkins; three daughters, Robin Perkins of Sarasota, Fla., Adrianne Perkins of Atlanta, Ga., and Michele Fultz and husband, Tracy of Sarasota, Fla.; two sons, Madison Perkins of Joplin, Mo., and Jeffrey Fadely and wife April of Panama City, Fla.; parents, David and Wanda Perkins of Bartlesville, Okla.; sister, Nancy Russell and husband, Jim of Sherman, Texas; brother, Donald Perkins and wife, Nan of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Rachael Perkins, Britnie Fultz, Travis Fultz, Payton Fadely and Paige Fadely; two nieces and nephews, Sarah and Paul Russell, and Libby and David Perkins. Memorial services will be Tuesday in the Forest Park United Methodist Church with Dr. Ken Taylor officiating. Those desiring to may make a contribution to the Forest Park United Methodist Church Memorial Fund in memory of Richard Perkins.

MABEL MAE RIZZUTO
Mrs. Mabel Mae Rizzuto, 85, of Panama City, Fla., died Oct. 10, 1999, in a local hospital. She has been a resident of this area since 1946 and was a homemaker, Methodist by faith and active in her earlier years in the city of Parker. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Rizzuto of Parker; one son, James R. Rizzuto and wife Judith of Metairie, La.; one daughter, Evelyn Anne Kostival of Littleton, Colo.; three grandchildren, Tara E. Clark, Richard C. Rizzuto and Lori A. Rizzuto; two great-grandchildren, Michael J. Clark and Destiny M. Trevino; and nephews, James W. Rizzuto and wife Irene of Panama City Beach and Joseph L. Rizzuto and wife Sylvia of Callaway. Funeral service for Mrs. Rizzuto will be conducted on Wednesday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. in the Southerland Funeral Home Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home the hour prior to the service Wednesday.

HAZEL WANITA MARTY YOCANO SPARKS
Mrs. Hazel Wanita Marty Yocano Sparks, 78, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 7, 1999, in a local hospital. Born in Parkersburg, W. Va., she was a longtime resident of this area. She was a waitress at Martin's Five Point Restaurant, a member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church and the Bay County Council on Aging. Mrs. Sparks is preceded in death by her mother, Laura Mond and a brother, Gene Mond. She is survived by two brothers, Kenneth Marty of California and David Mond and wife, Judy of Homasassa Springs, Fla.; four sisters, Bunnie Thompson, Mary C. Johnson, Ellen Arnold and Lorretta Williams and husband Jay, all of Panama City; three nieces, Sandra Winklemann, Susan Gantt and Deanna Mond; five nephews, Carmen Williams, Robert Johnson, Frankie Ozark, Anthony Mond and Brian Mond. She is also survived by her loving little dog "Queenie." Funeral service will be conducted this afternoon at 2 p.m. in the St. Andrew Episcopal Church with interment to follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

JILL MARLENE LIPFORD STEPHENSON
Jill Marlene Lipford Stephenson, age 35, of Lynn Haven, Fla., died Friday in Lynn Haven. Mrs. Stephenson was a native of West Palm Beach and moved to Jackson County in 1982, attended Chipola Junior College and lived here until 1988, then moved to Lynn Haven, Fla. She attended the First United Methodist Church of Lynn Haven and was employed with the Coastal Cardiac Vascular Surgeons Associates in Panama City. Mrs. Stephenson is the daughter of David Lipford of Cottondale and Elizabeth Paronette of Dunnellon, Fla. She is survived by her husband, Hal Stephenson of Lynn Haven; two children, Megan and Morgan Stephenson of Lynn Haven; one sister, Sandra Finch of Cottondale; one brother, David Lipford of West Palm Beach; paternal grandmother, Evelyn Baker of Marianna; five nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins. Funeral service for Mrs. Stephenson will be at 11 a.m. today, Oct. 11, 1999, in the Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Pennington and the Rev. Jack Brock officiating. JENELLE SWITZER
Ms. Jenelle Switzer, 54, of Panama City Beach, Fla., passed away Monday, Oct. 4, 1999, as the result of an industrial incident. She has been a resident of the area for 25 years, coming here from Missouri. Ms. Switzer worked for Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. and was formerly the Shop Steward of the Mill Support Department. She was also the past treasurer of Sunbird Condominiums for the Executive Board. She loved the water and enjoyed walking on the beach, but most of all she enjoyed her relationship with God. She was a special person who will be deeply missed by many friends and family. She is survived by: a daughter, Vanessa Serio and her husband Scott of Jefferson City, Mo.; her son, Scott Pogue of Panama City Beach, Fla.; mother, Leila Ellis of Stockton, Mo.; father, Evert Switzer and his wife Barbara of Sunny Hills, Fla.; a sister, Carol Allgaier of Kansas City, Mo.; and brothers, Randall Switzer of Joplin, Mo., and Charles Switzer of St. Paul, Minn. A daughter, Tracy, preceded Ms. Switzer in death. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Greg George officiating. Mrs. Virginia Marie "Honey" Timmerman, 80, of 6630 Olokee St., Panama City, Fla., passed Friday, Oct. 8, 1999, at a local hospital. Mrs. Timmerman has been a resident of Bay County for two years coming here from Tilton, Ill. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Westville, Ill. Mrs. Timmerman is survived by her husband of 54 years, Mr. Joseph "Tiny Tim" Timmerman of Panama City, Fla.; daughters, Mrs. Virginia "Ginger" Ward and husband Tim of Callaway, Fla., Mrs. Becky Collom and husband Charles of Georgetown, Ill., and Mrs. Dolores "Dode" Greene of Danville, Ill.; a son, Mr. Anthony "Tony" Timmerman and wife Sandy of Covington, Ind.; sisters, Mrs. Cecila Byjork and husband Clarence of Fort Worth, Texas, and Mrs. Claire Cox of Arcola, Ill.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today, Oct. 11, 1999, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. She is survived by her husband, Ballard Eighten Bowers of Panama City; one son, Ted Bowers and his wife Nina of Panama City; one daughter, Gloria Ann Bowers of Fort Walton Beach; one brother, William Eric and Merle Hardwick of Ozark, Ala.; grandchildren: Leisa Ann Bowers Barber and Jennifer Lynn Bowers; and a special friend, Suzan L. Statham. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 10 a.m. in Peel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Henry Hazard officiating. Burial will follow in New Ponce de Leon Cemetery. Infant daughter, Faith Beulah Adams, passed away Saturday, October 9, 1999, at her residence. Graveside funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 11 in Crystal Hill Cemetery, Thomaston, Ga., with the Rev. Eric Wyatt officiating. She is survived by paternal grandparents, Mr. Harvey Driscoll and Mrs. Joan Driscoll of Panama City, and maternal grandparents, Beatrice Mabius and Edward Mabius of Panama City. MR. DAVID PRESCOT CLARK JR.
Mr. David Prescot Clark Jr., 81, of Dothan, Ala., and formerly of Panama City, Fla., died on Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, after a short illness. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at 2 p.m. at the Big Creek Methodist Church with the Rev. Herbert Whatley and the Rev. Earl Bridges officiating. Burial will follow in the Big Creek Church cemetery with Ward-Wilson Funeral Home directing. The body will lie in state for one hour prior to service. Mr. Clark is survived by: his wife, Gracie Clark of Dothan, Ala.; niece, Elouise Arnold of Dothan, Ala., and several other extended family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Oliver, Mickey Watkins, Raymond Box, Vincent Arnold, Clark Loftin and Jimmy Lawrence. Honorary pallbearers will be John Gartner, Garland Crabtree, Doyle Kirkland and Earl Golden.
