Loren E. Percival, 73, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at his home in Garden City, Kan. Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m. in Price and Sons Funeral Home, Garden City, Kan.

MABEL MAE RIZZUTO
Funeral services for Mrs. Mabel Mae Rizzuto, 85, of Panama City, who died Sunday Oct. 10, 1999, will be conducted today, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. in Southerland Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Steve Southerland II officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the funeral service.

PAUL JOSEPH SKEBECK
Mr. Paul Joseph Skebeck, age 54, of Panama City Beach passed away on Oct. 12, 1999, at home after an extended illness. He had been a resident of the area since 1994. Mr. Skebeck was born in Cresson, Pa. and served in the U.S. Marine Corps for two tours of duty during the Vietnam War (1965 - 1969). After leaving the service, Mr. Skebeck worked with most of the country's major engineering and construction firms specializing in the construction and inspection of electrical delivery systems, including distribution lines, and extra high voltage transmission lines and substations throughout the country. The work involved installation of foundations, erection of wood, and steel poles as well as the lattice steel structures and stringing the cables that carried the electrical power. He was Catholic by faith. Mr. Skebeck is survived by his wife, Bert W. Skebeck of Panama City Beach; step-son, Robert R. Riggsby, Atlanta, Ga.; his mother, Helen Z. Skebeck, Cresson Pa.; a brother, Leonard E. Skebeck, Fredricksburg, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Skebeck Sr. and his older brother, Stanley Skebeck Jr. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.

HAZEL MOREE McKINNEY WHEELER
Mrs. Hazel Moree McKinney Wheeler was born on Aug. 10, 1903, in Warren, Ark., to John and Virginia McKinney. She died at her home, 2831 Agnes Scott Drive., Panama City, Fla., on Monday, Oct. 11, 1999. She majored in music at John E. Brown University, Siloam Springs, Ark. and was an accomplished pianist and soloist at Dauphin Way Baptist Church Choir for many years. She was also a member of Northside Baptist Church, the Homemakers Sunday School Class, and the Order of Eastern Star. Mrs. Wheeler moved from Mobile, Ala. to Panama City, Fla. in 1976. She is survived by her son, Clifton McKinney Wheeler and his wife Magdalene of Panama City, Fla.; daughter, Joy Wheeler Rhodes and her husband Louis Arthur of Panama City, Fla.; grandchildren: Sharon Marra of Beaver Creek, Ohio, Clifton M. Wheeler Jr. of Dayton, Ohio, Angela McGuire of Langley Air Force Base, Va., and Stephen Wheeler of Panama City Beach, Fla.; great-grandchildren: Christina Wheeler, Brenna and Zachary McGuire; two very loving nieces: Mabel Givens and her husband Max and Alverne Copeland, all of Warren, Ark. ; and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. today, Oct. 13 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Moore and the Rev. Lewis Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: John Parish, Carl Barbour, Bill Hunter, Mike Hunter, Andy Amann, Bill Aker, Travis Whitman, and Bill Hall. Honorary pallbearers will include: the Homemaker Sunday School Class and the Loyalty Sunday School Class, both from Northside Baptist Church.

Norma Nadine Alexander, 57, of Lynn Haven, Fla. memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, 1999 at 1 p.m. at Bay Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessess, 34th St. and Hwy. 77 in Lynn Haven.

Mr. Robert M. Cullen, age 37, of Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1984, coming here from Warminster, Pa., and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church. Mr. Cullen was a cement truck driver for Ewell Concrete Co. He also enjoyed fishing and cooking, had a great sense of humor, a big heart, and was loved by everybody. Mr. Cullen is survived by his wife, Roberta Cullen of Panama City, Fla; his parents, Richard and Margaret Cullen of Panama City, Fla; sisters: Helen Nicklas and her husband Mark of Newtown, Pa., and Carmel Gorin and her husband Steve of Panama City, Fla.; and his brothers: Richard Cullen of Panama City, Fla., and Joseph Cullen and his wife Christine of East Hartford, Conn. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 15 at St. John's Catholic Church with Fr. Marty Bratek officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: H. L. Pettis, Ron DeFalko, Robert Kyzer, Michael Dean, Mike Caswell, and Eric House. Honorary pallbearers will include the staff of Ewell Concrete Co. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today, Oct. 14, 1999 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

PAUL HOLM NIELSEN
Mr. Paul Holm Nielsen, age 66, of 525 Magnolia St., Panama City, Fla., died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999 at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1977 and was Protestant by faith. Mr. Nielsen served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years. He was also the owner of the Seoul Red Barn. He was also a member of the Coast Guard Power Squadron and taught classes at the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Mr. Nielsen is survived by his wife, Chun Nielsen of Panama City, Fla.; sons, Moses S. Nielsen of Panama City and Richard Nielsen of Las Vegas, Nev.; daughters, Kathy Nielsen and Lisa Kray, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 18 at Panama City Korean Church with Pastor Song officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories with full military honors accorded by Tyndall Air Force Base. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, Oct. 14 from 6 to 8 p.m.

ALLEN HOUSTON RUSS
Mr. Allen Houston Russ, age 89, of 314 N. James Ave., Panama City, Fla., died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 at a local hospital. He had been a resident of the area since 1943 coming here from Bainbridge, Ga. Mr. Russ was a retired outside machinist pipefitter with International Paper Company. He was also one of the oldest charter members of the Immanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Russ is survived by his daughters, Mary L. Whitehurst of Panama City, Fla. and Dorothy M. Kendall of Valparaiso, Fla.; a sister, Lila Baker of Attala, Ala.; a brother, Leo Russ of Bessemer, Ala.; three grandchildren: Michael Kendall and his wife Jana, John C. Kendall and his wife Judy, and Lisa Ann Cockrell and her husband James; and six great-grandchildren: Cherron Kofford, Misti Kofford, Kristina Kendall, Jonathan Kendall, Daniel Lee Adkins, and Wesley Adkins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Russ in 1977. Graveside funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct 15, at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Bob Johnson officiating. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 14 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Ms. Dorothy Skipper Ward, the wife of the late Frank Ward, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1999 in Panama City, Fla. Ms. Ward was born Jan. 26, 1929, in Ozark, Ala., to G.C. and Ada Lee Skipper. She is survived by her four sisters: Mellie Skipper Whaley and her husband William and Estelle Skipper Fuqua, all of Ozark, Ala., Theresa Ivy of Texas City, Texas, Mary Skipper Welliver and her husband William of Panama City, Fla. In addition to her four sisters, Ms. Ward's brother, G.C. Skipper and his wife Ann of Collegeville, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, Oct. 15, 1999 at Wood Lawn Cemetery in Ozark, Ala. with Dr. Billy Gaither officiating. Interment will follow.

Jack Willis, 81, of 2906 Cocoa Ave., Panama City, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999 in his home. He was born Feb. 13, 1918, and was a native of Nebraska. He was an Airman First Class for the U.S. Air Force where he served during World War II. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Powell Willis. Mr. Willis is survived by a sister, Bonnie Taylor of Washington and a friend, Glenn Clark of Youngstown, Fla. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Carlos Clinton officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6 to 8 p.m.

Norma Nadine Alexander, 57, formerly native of Pensacola, resident of Lynn Haven. She is survived by her husband, Leonard Alexander; mother, Juliette Buchanan; sister, Judy Brocato; uncle, James Kirby O'Neal; nieces and their children. A memorial service will be held Sunday, Oct. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Bay Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessess, 34th Street and State 77 in Lynn Haven.

Conrad Bush, 73, of Panama City, Fla. passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1999, at his residence. Survivors include his daughter, Joanna Lewis and husband Ronald of Washington, Texas; son, Michael Bush and wife Sylvia of Bradenton; three grandchildren: Jennifer Harris, Donna Williams, Leigh Bush; one sister, Willa Mae Wells of Tampa; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m. in Bethel Primitive Baptist Church with the Rev. Jessie Standland officiating. Visitation will be after 6 p.m. Friday at Sims Funeral Home.
