Mrs. Grace Bolware Nelson, 90, of 2140 E. Eighth Court, died Friday, Oct. 15, 1999 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Nelson will be held today, Oct. 23, at l p.m. in Neals Temple First Born Church with Jr. Bishop Willey McQueen officiating. Interment to follow in Redwood Cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church today from 10 a.m. until service time. The family will receive relatives and friends at 2140 E. Eighth Court.

Mrs. Rosa Belle Parish, 82, of Whitfield Hall, passed away Wednesday. She was a native and lifelong resident of Gulf County. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Parish of Whitfield Hill; two sons, Ronnie P. Adams and wife Ethel of Pearland, Texas, and Bobby Lee Adams Sr. of Whitfield Hill; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Whitfield of Whitfield Hill and Tom Whitfield of Houston, Texas; and two sisters: Ruby Cruser of Arcadia, Texas, and Allie V. Williams of Port St. Joe. The funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. EDT (1 p.m. CDT) today at White City Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Nick Davis. Interment will follow in the family plot in Cypress Creek Cemetery. She will lie in state at Comforter Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and at the church for an hour prior to the funeral. Active pallbearers will be: Bobby Lee Adams Jr., Rusty P. Adams, Charlie Pettis, B.R. Williams Jr., James Whitfield and Donny Whitfield.

Mr. Eugene Carl Roediger, age 72, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999. Mr. Roediger had been a resident of Bay County for four and a half years coming here from Wisconsin. He was retired as an air traffic controller for the FAA, served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a member of the Woodlawn United Methodist Church of Panama City Beach, Fla. Mr. Roediger is survived by his wife, his children, his brothers and sisters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Pastor Ronald T. Ball officiating.

Arthur I. Burgess, 85, of Tallahassee died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999. Mr. Burgess was born in Walton County and owned a residence in Panama City. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and retired from the Florida Department of Commerce after 22 years service. He was a member of Thomasville Road Baptist Church for more than 40 years and a charter member of American Disabled Veterans Chapter 5 in Tallahassee. Mr. Burgess is survived by his wife of 52 years Pauline Burgess; two daughters, Barbara Ann Agee and Suzanne Bentley, both of Tallahassee; a brother, Junior Burgess of DeFuniak Springs; a sister, Olean Davis of Fort Pierce; and two grandchildren, Heather Bentley and Austin Arthur Bentley, both of Tallahassee. Funeral service for Mr. Burgess will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at Culley's Meadowwood Timberlane Road Chapel in Tallahassee with burial at Culley's Meadowwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Culley's Meadowwood Timberlane Road Chapel. Memorial contributions in Mr. Burgess' name can be made to Thomasville Road Baptist Church Building Fund.

Mr. Randall Lynn Carr, 34, of 129 Arlington Drive, Panama City, Fla., passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, at his residence. Mr. Carr had been a resident of Bay County for 21 years, coming here from Brewton, Ala. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the House of Prayer. Mr. Carr is survived by his parents, Kathleen and Vincent Kohler of Panama City; daughters, Nikole Carr of Panama City and Jennifer Carr of Wewahitchka, Fla.; brothers, Johnny W. Carr I of Panama City and Michael H. Kohler and wife Julie of Redfield, Ark.; a great-aunt Gwen Zapf and husband Leroy (Doc) of Denham Springs, La.; and numerous friends. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Rogers and Brother Pete Boyette officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Mr. Johnny W. Carr I, Mr. Johnny W. Armetta J. McMullon, 79, of 3700 E. 14th St., Panama City, Fla., passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 1999. Mrs. McMullon had been a resident of Bay County for 54 years, coming here from Port St. Joe, Fla. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith, a homemaker and minister. Mrs. McMullon is survived by her sons: Millard H. McMullon and wife Mary, David McMullon and wife Wanda and Jimmy McMullon and wife Belinda, all of Panama City; daughters, Ellonise Wilson and husband Jim of Panama City and Ruth Holland and husband Jerry of Pensacola, Fla.; sisters, Joyce Moews of Kansas City, Kan., and Nealie Barron of Panama City; a brother, Bill Aaron of Fountain, Fla.; son-in-law, the Rev. Ronald Garland of Fountain. Mrs. McMullon and her husband raised five nieces: Mary, Pansy, Esther, Aline and Dianne; eight grandchildren: Tina Guynn, Julie Smith, Steve Garland, DeeDee Parker, David Lee McMullon Jr., Melanie Roesle, Jessica Holland and Katie Holland; seven great-grandchildren: Courtney Guynn, Cody Guynn, Scotty Parker, Joshua Garland, Ricky Garland, Joshua McMullon and David Lee McMullon III. She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie McMullon and a daughter Carolyn Garland. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Straightway Christian Ministries Church with the Rev. Sammy Stewart, the Rev. J.W. Hunt and the Rev. Sammy Spence officiating. Interment will follow in Lynn Haven Cemetery. Mrs. Clora Dean "Kitty" McNaron, 72, of 5000 W. 18th St., Panama City, Fla., passed away Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, in a local hospital. Mrs. McNaron had been a resident of Bay County since 1961, coming here from Tallahassee, Fla. She was Methodist by faith, member of the Panama City Pilot Club, the Junior Women's Club and was a retired secretary for Gulf Coast Community College for 33 years. Mrs. McNaron is survived by her sons, Mr. Mike McNaron and wife Libby of Lynn Haven, Fla., and Ricky McNaron of Pine Bluff, Ark.; stepbrother, Ricky Ponder of Pine Bluff; grandsons, Ricky McNaron II of Lynn Haven and Elton Wayne Kolmetz Jr. and wife Brandi of Panama City; a great-granddaughter, Angel Leigh Kolmetz of Panama City; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel of Love with the Rev. Charles Key officiating. Entombment will follow. The family will receive friends at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25.

H. Newton "Mac" McNeil, 74, beloved husband for 56 years of Voncile McNeil went to heaven Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1999. He was at the home of his daughter in Arnold, Mo. Mr. McNeil was born in Bonifay, Fla., Feb. 10, 1925. He moved to Jacksonville, Fla., in 1945. He was a Jacksonville city fireman and owner and operator of McNeils Upholstery and Carpet Shop on Edgewood Avenue until retiring in 1970. After retiring, Mr. McNeil did volunteer work for bible colleges, children's homes and mission organizations. Before coming to Arnold in December 1998, he resided in Keystone Heights, Fla. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and Timothy Bible Class in Keystone Heights. Mr. McNeil is survived by his wife Voncile C. McNeil of Arnold; daughter and son-in-law, Jim and Sue Agnew of Arnold; and daughter, Debbie Pipkin of Breckenridge, Colo.; one sister, Myrtle Williams of St. Andrews, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Service will be held at Lang-Fendler Funeral Home on Monday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Bobby Rone officiating. Interment will be in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 4 to 8 p.m.

Billy Franklin Reynolds was born July 4, 1935, and died Oct. 21, 1999, at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Stella Reynolds of Niceville. Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 36 years, Shirley Mae "Cassidy" Reynolds of Mossy Head; son, David "D.D." Griggs and wife Vera Ann of Ponce de Leon, Fla.; daughters: Shirlon Turner and husband Donald of DeFuniak Springs, Rebecca J.R. Barker and husband Robert of Tallahassee and Debbie Floyd and husband Harold of DeFuniak Springs; mother-in-law and father-in-law Dud and Loca Mae Cassidy of Ponce de Leon; brother, Buck Reynolds and wife Alvina of Port Arthur, Texas; sisters: Joyce Crowley of Ponce de Leon, Eunice Flowers and husband Mack of Luverne, Ala., Margaret Kittrell and husband Lee of Fayetteville, N.C., and Flora Cagle and husband Ken of Tennessee; nine grandchildren: Billie Mae Jordan, Bernie "Benji" Rushing, Bradly Rushing, Bob Barker, Marti Wood, Drew Floyd, C.J. Griggs, Little Don Turner and Leslie Turner; two great-grandchildren, Jada Reynolds and Brett Turner; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 312 of Niceville for the past 26 years. He was a sergeant at Walton Correctional Institute for the past 10 years.

Karen Lee Blanco, 47, of 3515 W. 19th St., Panama City, died Friday, Oct. 22, 1999, in a Pensacola, Fla., hospital. She worked at Bay Medical Center and Gulf Coast Hospital as a registered nurse. She had been a resident of Panama City since 1976. She was preceded in death by a brother, Kent Evans White. She is survived by a son, Jason Blanco; mother and father, Eloise & William White, all of Panama City; sister, Vicki White of Pensacola, Fla.; brother, Brian White; niece, Katrina White; nephew, Bradley White, all of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and numerous other relatives. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The family would like to thank Dr. Yonehiro and the Wound Care and Hyberbaric staff.
