Andrew Wimes Sr., 74, of Cottondale died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 in the Washington County Convalescent Center in Chipley.

He was a barber for many years in Ft. Pierce.

He is survived by: his wife, Dorothy Grier Wimes of Nashville; three sons, Andrew Wimes Jr. of Cottondale, Jerome Wimes of Cottondale, and Melvin Wimes of Graceville; daughter, Earnestine Wimes of Cottondale; two brothers, Arlee Wimes of Dothan, Ala. and Bishop Joe T. Wimes of Ft. Pierce; and a sister, Connie Lee Freeman of Rochester, N.Y.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 11 a.m. at the Foundation Temple Church in Cottondale with Elders Carlton Cotton and E. Mike, and Pastors, J. Dawsy and J. Carroll officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Church Cemetery.

The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Wayne G. Roulhac, 44, of Cottondale died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003 at his residence.

He is survived by: a son, Kelsey Roulhac of Cottondale; a devoted friend, Eulinda Russ (Floyd) of Cottondale; step-mother, Mary Roulhac of Campbellton; two sisters, Gina Bellamy and Nancy Wynn, both of Cottondale; and eight brothers, Robert Mincy (Bessie) of Lakeland, Q.J. Roulhac (Eva) of Chipley, Melvin Roulhac of Chipley, Donald Roulhac (Idell) of Campbellton, Dexter Roulhac of Campbellton, Eddie Roulhac (Judy) of Hope Mill, N.C., Steve Roulhac (Amanda) of Panama City, and Bruce Mincy of Cottondale.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 1 p.m. at the Henshaw AME Church with the Revs. M. Henderson, L. Marshall, D. Greene and Joe Tripp Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery.

The body will lie at the church one hour prior to the funeral. Vann Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Jennifer Lee Runnion, 26, of Bradenton died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2003, as the result of an automobile accident.

She was a native of Jackson County and had lived in Bradenton for the past seven years. She worked as a cashier at Publix. She was of the Protestant faith.

She was a loving mother to four sons, Sam McNeily III of Marianna, Orinthid Hayes of Marianna, Terrance Gaines of Orlando, and Tyler Runnion of Orlando; and one daughter, Smantha Runnion of Marianna.

She is also survived by: her father, Thomas Ray Runnion of Plant City; her mother, Debarah Sue Willis of Panama City; three sisters, Cynthia Lunsford of Panama City, Christina Pittman and her husband, Willie of Panama City, and Angela Runnion of Panama City; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Hazel Hamilton of Bascom; a host of nieces and nephews; and a host of uncles and one aunt.

The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. at Lord Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Hayward Miller and John Cook officiating.

The family will receive friends today, Thursday, Oct. 23, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Annie Mae Darby, 66, of Marianna died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, in Jackson Hospital.

A native of Jackson County, she was a member of Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by: her companion, Gordon Mack of Marianna; four daughters, Wilma Robinson and her husband, Walter, Quanda Pyles, Teresa E. Thomas and her husband, David, all of Marianna, and Lula M. Hayes of Miami; one son, Lorinthies Hayes of Phoenix City, Ala.; one brother, James Darby and his wife, Vivian of Marianna; a special niece, Valerie Darby of Marianna; a special nephew, Ervin Pittman of Cottonwood, Ala.; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna with the Revs. L.L. Brooks, E. Swinton, B. Felton, and Gammons officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.

The family will receive friends at Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church today, Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 until 8 p.m.

Roscoe Thomas Dolliver went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at his residence.

He loved the usual suspects: his wife, his children, his grandson, his dog, and needless to say, he also loved life in general. He was an avid hunter, golfer and bad-joke teller. No one who met him was left untouched by his special brand of humor.

A resident of Graceville for 34 years, Roscoe was well-known throughout the Jackson County community. He worked for 20 years at Campbellton-Graceville Hospital and then at Jackson Hospital for the past 13 years.

He was of the Episcopal faith and was very involved in his church community as well. He served as Layreader for over 30 years at St. Luke Episcopal Church. He was also a faithful member of the Express Lane Coffee Club. He will be sorely missed by all those fortunate enough to know him.

Precious memories of Roscoe will forever be with: his wife, Lynda Dolliver of Graceville; a son, Matthew Thomas Dolliver of Tampa; a daughter, Stephany Schlenker and her husband, Patrick of Milton; a grandson, Connor Schlenker of Milton; and two sisters, Louise Smith of Middletown, R.I. and Agnes Carr and her husband, Sam of Ellsworth, Maine.

Visitation will be today at Christian Memorial Chapel in Graceville from 6 until 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Marianna with the Rev. Diana B. Freeman officiating. Memorialization will be by cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made in thanksgiving for his life to St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Marianna.

Frances Dunaway Bevis, 79, of Marianna died Saturday, Oct. 25, 2003, at the Washington County Convalescent Center in Chipley.

She was a native of Greenwood and a life-long resident of Jackson County. She was a member of the AARP, Widowed Persons Club, the Marianna Womens Club and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Marianna.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Bevis and three brothers, Charlie B. Dunaway, Leon Dunaway Sr., and John M. Dunaway.

She is survived by one son, John Lyn Bevis and his wife Debbie of Punta Gorda; two daughters, Linda Bevis of Bascom and Mary F. Schmidt and her husband Reginald of Panama City; one brother, Fletcher Dunaway and his wife Susan of Greenwood; one sister, Rosa Lee Mercer of Tallahassee; three sisters-in-law, Jeanette Dunaway, Bonnie Dunaway, and Katherine Dunaway; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. at Maddox Chapel with Rev. Fred Zeigler, Dr. Frank Hyles and Rev. John Woodrow officiating. Burial will be in Bascom United Methodist Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel of Marianna directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m., today, Tuesday, at James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Dorothy Ball, 74, of Cottondale died Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, in Cottondale. Arrangements will be announced by James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel.

Dorothy M. Ball, 74, of Cottondale died at home Monday, Oct. 27, 2003, following an extended illness.

She was a native of Houston County and lived in Forks of the Creek before moving to Cottondale. She and her husband operated Ball Produce for many years until her husband's death in 1998. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Malone.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Milford M. Ball, and her granddaughter, Jessica Ann Ball.

She is survived by: her son, Greg Ball and his wife, Jackie; three grandchildren, Jeff Ball, Matt Ball and his wife, Alana, Liza Speers and her husband, Rodney; three great-grandchildren, Kindal, Ashley and Lily Ball; one brother, Harold Miller of Lady Lake; three sisters, Nita Foy of Cottondale, Janice Calloway of Malone and Myrtice Miller of Chesapeake, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. CST at Maddox Chapel with the Rev. Jack Howell officiating. Burial will be in Cottondale Baptist Church Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the funeral home.

The funeral for Frances Dunaway Bevis will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, at Maddox Chapel. Burial will be in Bascom United Methodist Cemetery with James and Sikes Funeral Home Maddox Chapel directing.

Mattie "Sweet" Wright, 97, of Graceville died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, in the Jackson County Convalescent Center.

She was a native of Jackson County and a member of New Easter Missionary Baptist Church in Graceville.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Iola Reese of Saint Petersburg and Matokha Ralls of Ashford, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at New Easter Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Price Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Graceville Community Cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel in Graceville.

Shirley J. Jones, 50, of Campbellton died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at her residence.

She was a native of Jackson County and a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist in Jacob City.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Edward Jones Jr. and his wife, Denise of Jacob City; two daughters, Triwanna Gadson of Marianna, and Tanzania Jones Williams of Cottondale; six sisters, Mary White and her husband, Robert of Cottondale, Pennie Stewart and her husband, Framan, Essie Peterson and Ruth Griffin all of Lynn Haven, Addie Sue Pyles and her husband, James of Jacob City, and Carolyn Holmes and her husband, Harold of New Port News, Va.; one brother, Danny Jones and his wife, Keta of Leesville, La.; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. G.E. Bowers, Obadiah White, Price Wilson, and Darrell Franklin officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 until 7 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City.

Dorothy Lucille Kayser, 75, of Marianna died Thursday, Oct. 23, 2003.

She was a native of Minnesota before moving to Florida 12 years ago. She attended school in Pensacola. She was adored by all who knew her. She loved people, children and pets.

The funeral will be held Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 10 a.m. in the Sunland Training Center Chapel with Chaplain Ruth Moore officiating. Marianna Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Clarence Linwood "Runt" Alday, 57, of Cypress died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2003, at his residence.

He enjoyed fishing, wood-working, playing checkers and cards, as well as spending time with his grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Myrtle Alday; and three brothers, Frank Alday, Jody Alday, and Bubba Alday.

He is survived by: his daughter, Heather Stewart of Cypress; four sisters, Joy Baxter of Marianna, Agnes Alday and her husband, Boo of Cypress, Hazel Qualls and her husband, Tommy of Enterprise, Ala., and Pearlene Pratt of Cypress; one five year-old granddaughter, Lauren Stewart of Cypress; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 30, at Hall Funeral Home in Altha with the Revs. Rolland Gilliland and Jack Howell officiating. Burial will be in Cypress Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. CDT today Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the funeral home.
