Mr. George A. Redd, age 68, of 607 W. 11th St., Panama City, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at a local hospital. He has been a resident of Panama City since 1972, coming here from Blountstown, Fla. Mr. Redd served his country as a pilot in the U.S. Army. He is survived by a son: George Stephen Redd of Lafayette, La.; a daughter: Karen Kim Morris of Panama City, Fla.; granddaughters: Ashley Jean Morris of Panama City, Fla., Meghan Elizabeth Redd of Lafayette, La.; a grandson: Jedidiah Redd of Panama City, Fla.; sisters: Doris Gayle of Callaway, Fla., Ruth Pennington, Winnie Powell and Gloria Jean Pennington, all of Springfield, Fla., Bobby Nell Marcum of Orlando, Fla., and Joan Roper of Panama City, Fla. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. today, Nov. 29, 1999.

LEO LAWRENCE MORRISON
Mr. Leo Lawrence Morrison, age 76, of 21624 Sunset Ave., Panama City Beach, Fla., died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, at his residence. He has been a resident of Panama City Beach for 10 years, coming here from Muskegon, Mich. Mr. Morrison served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. During his life Mr. Morrison worked as a deputy sheriff, a police officer, a justice of the peace, an aircraft assembler and finally an auctioneer after retiring from the Teledyne Corp. He was involved in local politics in the Muskegon area, serving on the Jolman School Board and the Muskegon Township Zoning Board. Locally he was a member of the Pythagoras Masonic Lodge No. 358, the Scottish Rite, and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10555. He enjoyed boating and fishing, loved music and was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 32 years: Patsy Morrison of Panama City Beach, Fla.; a sister: Virginia Miller of Laporte, Ind.; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter: Patricia Morrison. A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Floyd officiating. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the Pythagoras Lodge No. 358. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Shaddai Temple Transportation Fund, 1101 W. 19th St., Panama City, FL, 32401.

WAYMAN A. 'ROD' RODRIGUEZ
Mr. Wayman A. "Rod" Rodriguez, age 79, of 410 S. Viola Ave., Callaway, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999, at his residence. Mr. Rodriguez had been a resident of this area for the past 15 years, coming here from Portland, Ore. Mr. Rodriguez served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corp. during World War II and received many commendations during his service. He was a retired truck driver and was Methodist by faith. Mr. Rodriguez is survived by his wife of 19 years: Malinda Rodriguez of Callaway, Fla.; daughters: Jeanne Howell of Fort Worth, Texas, Myra Selby and her husband Dennis of Callaway, Fla.; sons: Mike Rodriguez and his wife Sheena of Portland, Ore., Chris Rodriguez-Chase and his wife Sandy of Cameron, Texas, John R. Rodriguez of Portland, Ore.; sisters-in-law: Brenda Peacock and her husband Larry of Callaway, Fla., Lillian Bower of Deerpark, Wash.; a brother-in-law: Kenneth Grannis and his wife Erma of Rome, Pa.; a niece: Iris Keith and her husband Henry of Denham Springs, La., and numerous other nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service for Mr. Rodriguez will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Garden of Memories Cemetery with the Rev. Ron Gallagher officiating. military honors will be given by Tyndall Air Force Base Honor Guard. Interment will follow. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at the funeral home.

MARGARET DAVIS
Margaret Davis of Tallahassee, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 29, 1999, in Tallahassee. She was a native of Sanford, N.C., and formerly of Panama City. Margaret was a retired nurse and of the Methodist faith. Survivors include her husband, Larry Davis of Tallahassee; two sons: Jeff Measamer of Houston, Texas and Ryan Davis of Panama City; one daughter, Kim Zappel of Lake Lure, N.C.; one brother, John Cameron of Sanford, N.C. and three grandchildren The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 1 at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home-Riggins Road Chapel in Tallahassee. Interment will be a private family service at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. GALE AND KATHLEEN HENERY
Gale and Kathleen Henery of Somerset, Ohio passed away on Oct. 11, 1999, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Oct. 6. Burial services were held at Somerset Cemetery on Oct. 16. The Henery's were survived by four daughters: Linda Harrington, Jerilyn Birkhimer, Pats Ferry and Susan(Clary) Draper.

Mrs. Mary Magdalene R. McKinney, age 91, of Southport, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, at her home. She had been a resident of the area for 12 years, coming from Pace, Fla. Mrs. McKinney was a member of First Baptist Church of Southport and a former member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Pace, Fla. She was survived by her daughter, Frances M. Bailey and her husband Wayne of Deland, Fla.; sisters: Audrey Hughes of Vernon, Fla., and Bea Deal and her husband J. H. Jr. of Southport, Fla.; brother, William W. Russell of Bay Minnette, Ala.; grandchildren: Kimberly Roberts and her husband Robert of Moselle, Miss., Sherrille Akin and her husband Dain of Westerville, Ohio, James P. Bailey and his wife Kimberly of Deland, Fla., and Terrell W. Bailey Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Sellersburg, Ind.; six great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends and loved ones. Mrs. McKinney was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jesse James McKinney. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Collins officiating. Interment will be held 3 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 2 at Bayview Cemetery in Pensacola, Fla. DANIEL S. 'DANNY' MINKEY
Mr. Daniel S. "Danny" Minkey, age 17, of 7581 Yellow Bluff Road, Callaway, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, as the result of an automobile accident. Danny was a senior at Rutherford High School where he was on the weight lifting team and the camera crew for the football team. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and loved to explore the outdoors with his friends in his truck they called "The Beast". Danny's parents, family and many friends describe him as loving, kind, respectful, and sensitive. Danny was a Boy Scout, made his own fishing lures, and loved animals. He was a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Danny is survived by his parents, Stephen and Joanne Minkey of Callaway, Fla.; a sister, Stacey Anne Minkey of Callaway, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Henry and Margaret Dudka of Henderson, Texas; godparents (aunt and uncle): Frank and Gail Tamberino of Callaway, Fla.; uncle, William Minkey Jr. of Baltimore, Md.; aunt, Jeannette Ludwig of Baltimore, Md.; goddaughter, Anna Marie Robinson of Dale City, Va.; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by: his paternal grandparents: Evelyn and William Minkey Sr. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999 at St. Dominic Catholic Church with Fr. Peter Zalewski officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories. Asked to serve as active pallbearers are: Laredo Ginn, Dakota Ginn, DaWayne Maddux, Andrew Josker, Ryan Botzong, Steven "Bubba" Walker, Josh Cosby, and Byron Willis. Honorary pallbearers will include: Eric Raffield, Michael Castillo, Chris Lowe, Troy Lassiter, and members of the Rutherford Football Team. The family will receive friends at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home today, Nov. 30, 1999 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary Service to be held at 7 p.m. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the Florida Highway Patrol, the EMS, and Bay Medical Center's Trauma Unit. FRANK R. CLARK
Frank R. Clark, 92, of Panama City, died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 20, 1907, in Augusta, Ga. He graduated from Georgia Tech in 1928 with a degree in electrical engineering. He was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity at Georgia Tech. After graduation, he went to work for the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey setting benchmarks in the Rocky Mountains. He then was employed by Western Electric for 37 years, where his major projects included communications for the DEW line and the SAGE air defense systems. He retired to Stuart, Fla., from Atlanta, Ga., in 1973 and later moved to Panama City in 1997. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Martha; and one son, Captain Frank R. Clark, USAF. He is survived by one daughter, Susan C. Lester and her husband, David of Panama City; four grandchildren: Frank R. Clark of Williamsburg, Va., John C. Lester and his wife, Kimberly of Gainesville, Fla., Margaret L. Williams and her husband, Daniel of Yorktown, Va., and David D. Lester and his wife, Shirley of Alexandria, Va.; and three great-granddaughters: Sarah and Abigail Williams of Yorktown, Va., Julia Lester of Gainesville, Fla., the Rev. Si Mathison officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

VONNIE LEE CRUMP
Mrs. Vonnie Lee Crump, 83, of 14200 Bay Avenue, Panama City Beach, died Tuesday, Nov. 30 at her residence. Mrs. Crump had been a resident of Bay County since 1977 moving here from Hollywood, Fla. She was a homemaker and a member of Gulfview United Methodist Church where she was a very active member of United Methodist Women's Group. Mrs. Crump is survived by her husband of 62 years, Dwight A. Crump of Panama City Beach; one son, Gerald Crump of Sarasota, Fla.; one daughter, Marcia Small of Fort Walton Beach; and one grandchild, Tracee Lyn Crump of Sarasota, Fla. Funeral services for Mrs. Crump will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 2 at 10 a.m. in Gulfview United Methodist Church with Bro. Jim Fillingim officiating. Mrs. Crump will lie in state one hour prior to services. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, Dec. 3 at 10 a.m. in Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Birmingham. Interment will follow.

CARLEY R. DANIEL
Mr. Carley R. Daniel, age 85 of Bruce, Fla., died Sunday, Nov. 28, 1999, in a Panama City hospital. Mr. Daniel was a native of Pulaski, Tenn. He was a resident of Bruce for the past sixteen years. He was a World War II Veteran and served for 30 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a warrant officer. He was also employed in Civil Service at Eglin AFB after his retirement from the U.S. Air Force. He was Methodist by faith and a member of the Bruce Methodist Church. Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elaine Pate Daniel of Bruce; son, Robert Alan Daniel of Mt. Marion, N.Y.; daughter, Kay Daniel Mayne and husband Ron of Panama City; two brothers-in-law: Modesto Pate and wife Margie of Panama City and Kenna Pate and wife Carol of Bruce; three sisters-in-law: Pansy Bjorklund of Panama City, Zera Denson of Bruce and Naomi Starr and husband H.E. of Baytown, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 2 at Bruce Methodist Church with the Rev. Bill Young officiating. Burial will follow in Dead River Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Dec. 1 at Clary-Godwin Funeral Home Chapel. Flowers are being accepted or donations may be made to M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Center in Houston, Texas.
