Mr. Cedric Cordell Wilson
Mr. Cedric Cordell Wilson, 33, of Louisville entered into rest on Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at his residence.

Mr. Wilson was a native of Jefferson County, where he joined the Eden Baptist Church at an early age. He was a 1995 graduate of Louisville High and was employed by B and H Trucking Company.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Eden Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Hugh Wilson Jr. and Emily Walden Wilson of Augusta; children, Ji’al Shambrae Wilson and Ja’nna Shambrel Wilson of Louisville, and Nicole Holmes of Atlanta; sister and brother, Crystal Wilson and Clinton Wilson of Augusta; maternal grandparents, Luke Walden and Bernice Walden of Louisville; aunts and uncles, Charlie (Demetrius) Walden of Conyers, Shirley Dogan of Augusta, Helen (Odell) Roberts, Larry (Arlinda) Wilson and Ronnie (Mary Ann) Wilson, all of Louisville, Catherine Wilson of Alabama, Randy (Bernice) Wilson and Iliane (Ricky) Warren, all of Stone Mountain; niece and nephew, Emily C. Wilson and Clinton C. Wilson of Augusta; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bobbie Tweed Wolfe
Mrs. Bobbie Tweed Wolfe, 82, of Mitchell, formerly of Augusta, entered into rest on Friday, Oct. 23, 2009.

Mrs. Wolfe was a native of Murphy, N.C., a long-time resident of Augusta, having recently lived in Mitchell.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at 1 p.m. in Westview Cemetery, with Rev. Robert Riley officiating.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion T. “Billy” Wolfe.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary (Troy) Robinson, Mitchell, and Betty Louise Bicknell, Thomson; five grandchildren, Gary W. Randolph, Bradley T. S. Randolph (Nicole), Billy Jack Clements (Courtney), Josh D. Clements, Miranda Barker and Jill Morgensen (Michael); and several great-grandchildren.

Posey Funeral Directors were in charge of arrangements.

Mr. David Louis Barlow Jr.
Mr. David Louis Barlow Jr., 66, of Blythe entered into rest on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, after losing his last battle with cancer at MCG Hospital.

Mr. Barlow was a retired heavy equipment operator.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Woodlawn Baptist Church, with Rev. Don Reeves officiating. Interment followed in the Barlow Family Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Mae Jones Barlow and David Louis Barlow Sr.; and his brother, Carroll Barlow.

Survivors include his daughter, Constance Michelle Thompson (Danny); a brother, William Barlow (Barbara); two sisters, Margaret Skinner and Joan Doolittle; a granddaughter, Jessica Ryan McCoy; a great granddaughter, Kalena; two sister-in-laws, Donna Barlow and Lisa Jones; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

To assist with expenses, the family requests that honorary contributions be made to James Funeral Home, P.O. Box 588, Wrens, GA 30833.

Mr. Robert Willie Cooper
Mr. Robert Willie Cooper, 53, of Louisville entered into rest on Nov. 18, 2010, in a Richmond County hospital.

Mr. Cooper was born on Dec. 4, 1957, in Burke County to the late Mr. Charlie Cooper Sr. and Emma Ruth Jordan Cooper. He attended Gough Elementary School, later moving to Pompano Beach, Fla., where he spent most of his adult life before returning to Georgia. Mr. Cooper was a member of Peel Grove Baptist Church and was employed for several years at a golf course in Augusta until his health failed.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at Peel Grove Baptist Church in Vidette, with Rev. Bobby Williams Sr. officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his sisters, Emma (John) Moody, Willie Mae Cooper (George Powell) of Vidette, Rosa Hatton of Gough, Eliza Cooper of Philadelphia, Pa., and Pinky Lovette of Vidette; brothers, Bobby Cooper and Edward (Mary) Cooper of Vidette; uncle, James Jordan of Miami, Fla.; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers were Derrick Scoot, Mark Bunyon, Jessie Dixon and Jessie Roundtree.

Honorary pallbearers were deacons and trustees of Peel Grove Baptist Church.

Garrer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bob Eugene Irby
Mr. Bob Eugene Irby, 70, of Martinez entered into rest at his home on Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, after a year-long battle with cancer.

Born to the late Daisy M. Byrd and the late Tom P. Irby, Mr. Irby grew up and went to school in Avera, but lived in the Augusta-Martinez area for over 40 years. He founded Tri-State Distributors which he co-owned with his wife.

Funeral services were held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Avera on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at 2 p.m., with Rev. Donald Lumpkin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marian; and three brothers, Gus, Buford and Sonny.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Lynn Irby; children, Kim Irby, Pamela Irby Anderson (Robert), Brad Teal (Lisa), and Jon Teal (Crystal); brother, Grady Irby (Florence); sister, Dorothy Irby Kelley (Kenneth); eight grandchildren, Lyle Arrington, Nicholas Williams, Brittany Anderson, Rob Anderson, Nathan Anderson, Brooke Teal, Garrett Teal and Gavin Teal; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers were Ellis McCaleb, Ronnie Hadden, Cecil Floyd, Sonny Irby, Lance Irby and Chuck “Pinky” Irby.

James Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Billy Ray McKenzie
Mr. Billy Ray McKenzie, 67, of Bartow entered into rest on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010, at Jefferson Hospital.

Mr. McKenzie, a lifelong resident of Jefferson County, was retired from Thermo King after 34 years of service. He was a farmer and a race car owner and driver. He was a member of the Parkers United Methodist Church.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Parkers United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Boggs officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Madelyn McKenzie of Bartow; children, Joseph R. McKenzie (Amber), Willis L. McKenzie (Janie), Wiley E. Chance Jr. and Jackie J. Chance; two sisters, Joann Aldred and Betty Sue Stavely, both of Bartow; five grandchildren, Liza, Nikki, Eddie, Caitlin and Kimberly; a great-grandchild, Holli Jai; and two aunts, Fannie Bell Stockard and Christine Stavely.

Pallbearers were Mike Bell, Tommy New, L.C. Clark, Randy Newsome Jr., Roger Hadden, Al McNeely, Barry Cooper and Willie James Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers were Wesley New and Larry Robinette.

Smith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Arthur Lee McNair
Funeral services for Mr. Arthur Lee McNair, 67, of Wrens were held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at 3 p.m. at Mt. Aldred CME Church, Warren County, with Rev. Dr. Willie J. Wiley as eulogist. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Bobby Lee Story
Mr. Bobby Lee Story, 77, of Hephzibah entered into rest on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at his residence.

Mr. Story, a native of Louisville, was a son of the late Elbert and Ader Story. He was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at the chapel of Chance and Hydrick Funeral Directors on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at 2 p.m., with Rev. C.B. Turner officiating. Interment was in Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 21 years, Margaret Byrd Story; parents; brothers, Sam, Frank, Ezra, Bill, Harrison and Everett Story; sister, Emma Story Howell; and son-in-law, Ronnie Mullikin.

Survivors include his daughters, Shirley Macuch (John) of Augusta, Margie Mullikin of Evans, Donna Rivera, Brenda Taylor (Travis) of Bath, S.C.; as well as five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

If desired, memorials may be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd floor Bethesda, Md. 20814, or to the American Cancer Society, 2607 Commons Blvd., Augusta, GA 30909.

Miss Lisa Marie Tudor
Miss Lisa Marie Tudor, 42, of Dearing entered into rest on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, at Lexington Medical Center in Columbia, S.C.

Miss Tudor was a native of Richmond County, but had lived many years in Dearing.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Todd Upchurch officiating.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lynda Tudor.

Survivors include her two brothers, Jeff (Frankie Rose) Tudor, Dearing, Steve (Teresa) Tudor, Harlem; three nephews, Brice Tudor, Trevor Tudor, Aaron Tudor; niece, Lillie Kate Tudor; and aunt, Peggy (Billy) Lyons, Mitchell.

Curtis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Louise Warren Gamble Bill
Mrs. Louise Warren Gamble Bill entered into rest on Sept. 9, 2010, at the UCLA medical center after a short illness.

Born in Louisville, to Louise Warren Gamble and Roger Lawson Gamble III, Mrs. Bill was a Chi Omega and a graduate of the University of Georgia in 1940. She was also involved in Concerned Citizens groups for fairness in local government.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at her home in Santa Monica, Calif.

She was preceded into death by her parents; and stepfather, Raiford McMillan.

Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia (Michael) Gamble Bill Desrochers; two grandchildren, Lawson and Vanessa Desrochers; and brother, Roger Lawson Gamble IV of Atlanta.

Mr. Virgil L. Cannon
Mr. Virgil L. Cannon, 88, of Keysville entered into rest on Monday, Nov. 29, 2010, at the Keysville Nursing Home and Rehab Center.

Mr. Cannon moved from Milledgeville to Gracewood State School and Hospital at the age of 12 where he entered several work programs and became acquainted with Winton, Marie and Grace Saxon. He became a part of their family and he lived with them for more than 20 years. He was employed in the maintenance department at Augusta Regional Hospital. In November 1992, he became a resident at the Keysville Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at Keysville UMC Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis M. McAfar Cannon and Frank Marion Cannon of Milledgeville.

James Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Miss Hali Fuller
Miss Hali Fuller, 17, of Thomson entered into rest on Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2010.

Miss Fuller was a native of Richmond County, but had lived most of her life in Thomson. She was a student at Thomson High School.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3, 2010, in the Sweetwater Baptist Church, with Pastor Bobby Coleman and Rev. Grant Cantrell officiating. Burial was in the Westview Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparent, Joanne Nicholes.

Survivors include her parents, Charles and Jennifer Fuller, Thomson; brother, Dalton Fuller, Thomson; maternal grandfather, Johnny Nicholes, Augusta; maternal grandmother, Annette Hobbs, Gibson; paternal grandparents, Nelson and Louise Fuller, Thomson; aunts, Phyllis (Rex) Allen, Pam (Scott) Huff, Diane (Rob) Blevins and April Perry, all of Thomson, and Martie Cox, Harlem; cousins, Duston Allen, Crystal Whitaker, Hunter Davis, Harley Huff, Savannah Blevins, Summer Blevins, Austin Perry, Hannah Perry, Colby Perry, Reagan and Nicholas Cowell, Dustin and Chris Graham; friends, Jill Howard, Jeri Lyn Morris, Alan Fowler and Reese Riesinger; and a host of other friends from school.

Pallbearers were Shane Perry, Reese Riesinger, Alan Fowler, Cody Ewest, Mel Wall and Tony Perry.

Mrs. Annie Bell Turner Gray
Mrs. Annie Bell Turner Gray of New Rochelle, N.Y., entered into rest on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church and Cemetery.

Survivors include her children, Carolyn (Leonard) Vanderlip of New York, and Shelton Heath of Louisville; and brother, Willie Lee Turner of Washington, DC.
