Mrs. Fannie Davis
Mrs. Fannie Truitt Davis, 100, formerly of Mountville, died Wednesday at Florence Hand Home.
Mrs. Davis, born December 7, 1900, in Harris County, was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Wortham Truitt. She was a homemaker and member of Mountain Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors include five nieces, Lottie Dennis, Lonzie Blackmon, and Ossie Maddox, all of LaGrange, Rosie Lee and Cleve Barber Sr. of West Point, and Cora Mae Goodlaw of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a nephew, Lonzie Truitt Jr. of LaGrange; and great - nieces, great - nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pleas Davis, and a daughter, Willie Mae Lockhart Hicks.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Mountain Springs Baptist Church on Highway 18 in West Point with the Rev. Alfonzia Simpson Jr. officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her niece and nephew, Rosie Lee and Cleve Barber Sr., at 15 Barber Road in West Point.

Mrs. Winnett Reed
Mrs. Winnett Reed, 61, of 151 Tucker Circle died Saturday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Reed, born November 13, 1939, in Troup County, was the daughter of the late Johnny and Winnie Fanning. She was a retired textile machine operator at the Live Oak Plant of Milliken & Company.
Survivors include her husband, Willie Earnest Reed Sr.; a daughter, Winnie Mae and Charles Houston of West Point; two sons, Willie Earnest Jr. and Birdell Reed of Valley, Ala., and Arthur James and Bonita Reed of Franklin; a sister, Susie Ward of LaGrange; four brothers - in - law, Waymon Darden and Charlie Will Rome of New York and George Reed and Leroy Ward of LaGrange; two sisters - in - law, Lizzie Reed and Betty Sue Dawson of LaGrange; five grandchildren, Maurice Houston, Edwin Houston, Dalton Lee Reed, Katelyn Winnett Reed and David Terrell Holliday; a great - grandchild, Alexis Thornton; father - in - law and mother - in - law, Willie Frank and Annie Laura Reed of Lanett, Ala.; an aunt, Curlan McFarland of LaGrange; an uncle, Edward McFarland of LaGrange; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Paul CME Church in the Gabbettville Community with the Rev. Lovett Thornton officiating. Burail will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at her home.
Lakes - Dunson - Robertson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Allen Lee
Allen Lee, 33, of 1286 Antioch Road died Tuesday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Lee, born January 16, 1968, in Griffin, was the son of Gerald and Frances Green Lee. He was a 1988 graduate of Troup High School and was a master stone mason with Lee Stone Company.
Survivors, in addition to his parents of LaGrange, include a brother, Earl Lee of Chattanooga, Tenn.; two sisters, Stella Hayes of Pass Christian, Miss., and Beverly Bridwell of LaGrange; his grandmother, Mrs. Mary Robinson of Griffin; three nephews and two nieces.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Striffler - Hamby Mortuary at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road with the Rev. Michael Reeves officiating.
The family will be at the home of his aunt, Rebecca Hamby, at 1308 Antioch Road and will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or those desiring may contribute to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to Hospice LaGrange in memory of Mr.. Lee.

Ed Fincher
Edward (Ed) Fincher, 77, of Lanett, Ala., died Tuesday at Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley, Ala.
Mr. Fincher, born September 29, 1923, in Clay County, Ala., was the son of the late Augost Eugene and Margaret Swann Fincher. He retired from the Fairview Mill of West Point Pepperell and was a member of the Lanett Senior Club, a Mason and a Shriner. He was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Wylene Wilderson of Lanett, Ala., and Juanita Bates and Anne Freeman, both of LaGrange; two sons, Jack Fincher of LaGrange and Mancel Fincher of Dresden, Tenn.; two sisters, Myra Nell Robinson and Peggy Sherman, both of Roanoke, Ala.; two brothers, Howard Fincher of Gadsden, Ala., and James W. Fincher of Anniston, Ala.; and 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and a son, Edward E. Fincher Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Johnson Brown - Service Funeral Home in Valley, Ala., with the Rev. Joe Schuck officiating. Burial will be in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.

James M. McMillan
James Marcus McMillan, 66, of 1534 Smokey Road died Monday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. McMillan, born March 18, 1934, in Pelham, was the son of the late Ely Glenn and Lorine Tipper McMillan. He was a retired Troup County building superintendent and an Army veteran. He was a member of Old Pathways Baptist Church.
Survivors include six daughters, Linda Marie Prather, Donna Mae Mazzola, Amy Lorine Alder, aand Tammy Lynn Hasty, all of LaGrange, Terry Lee Shelnutt of Franklin and Rebecka Diane McMillan of Columbus; four sons, James M. McMillan Jr., Dallas Wayne McMillan and Edward Glenn McMillan, all of Columbus, and John Nelson McMillan of LaGrange; a sister, Margaret Nasworthy of Violet, La.; 17 grandchildren and three great - grandchildren; and a close friend, Geneva Swanson, of LaGrange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gay Marie McMillan.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Old Pathways Baptist Church with the Revs. Sammy Mitchell and Mark Peak officiating. Burial will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
The body will be at the home of his daughter, Linda Prather, at 142 Lower Big Springs Road and at the church one hour prior to the service.
Striffler - Hamby Mortuary at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Camilla Wilson
Mrs. Camilla Wilson, 95, of 103 Royal Court died Saturday at Franklin Healthcare.
Mrs. Wilson, born January 9, 1906 in Chambers County, Ala., was the daughter of the late Willie and Ida Tucker. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Baptist Church where she served as a member of Mission, Mothers Board and the Deconess Board. She was the widow of Len Wilson.
Survivors include two daughters, Ida and Miller Medley of Columbus, Ohio, and LaMyrtis Dukes of LaGrange; a son - in - law, Henry Dukes of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Lois Tompkins of Miami, Fla.; six grandchildren; 14 great - grandchildren; seven great - great - grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Luevenia Cameron; three sisters, Lucille Billingslea, Sara Sands and Laura Johnson; two brothers, Charlie Frank Tucker and Jim Frank Tucker; and two grandsons.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul Baptist Church at 205 Union St., with the Rev. Felton James officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
The family will be at her home.

Mrs. Corinne P. Davis
Mrs. Corinne Preast Davis, 91, a former resident of Georgia Avenue, died Monday at Christian City Convalescent Center in Union City.
Mrs. Davis, born August 31, 1909, in LaGrange, was the daughter of the late George Washington and Lula Brown Speir Hamrick. She retired from the Dixie Division of West Point Stevens after 40 years of service. She was a member of Second Baptist Church where she was active in the church choir, Sunday school and W.M.U, and a member of West Georgia Commons Mall Walking Club.
Survivors include a daughter and son - in - law, Carolyn and Stanley Woods of LaGrange; a son and daughter - in - law, Wayne and Betty Preast of McDonough; six grandchildren and their spouses, Dana Preast of Fayetteville, Glenn Preast of Morrow, Terri and Charles Cason of Douglasville, Kenneth Gay of LaGrange, Karen and Chris Kochanowicz of Spartanburg, S.C., and Sheila and Ryan Allen of LaGrange; two great - grandsons, Jeremy Bulfin and Matthew Cason, both of Douglasville; a sister, June Bennett of Smyrna and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home with the Revs. Olin McClain and Stanley Woods officiating. Burial will be in Hillview East Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her daughter and son - in - law, Carolyn and Stanley Woods, at 303 West Lakeview Drive and will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 this evening.
Flowers will be accepted, or those desiring may contribute to Gideons International in memory of Mrs. Davis.

Mrs. Hutchison
Mrs. Margaret J. Hutchinson, 91, of Carrollton died Monday at Nightingale Personal Care Facility in Carrollton.
Mrs. Hutchinson was born October 17, 1909, in Roanoke, Ala. She was a homemaker and saleslady at Benneett's Dress Shop in Carrollton.
Survivors include two sons and daughters - in - law, Tony and Lorre Hutchinson of Carrollton and Dr. Richard G. and Celestie Hutchinson of Jackson, Miss.; six grandchildren and a great - grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Hutchinson.
Graveside services will be in Carollton City cemetery at 2 p.m. Thursday with Dr. William Holt officiating.
The family will receive friend Thursday from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Almon Funeral Home at 548 Newnan St., in Carrollton.

Mrs. Lizzie Mae Hall
Mrs. Lizzie Mae Hall, 90, of Norcross died Saturday at Gwinnett Medical Center.
Mrs. Hall, born December 12, 1910, in Troup County, was the daughter of the late Neal and Mattie McClendon. She was a domestic employee.
Survivors include three sisters, Mattie Lou Roberts, Annie Silvers and Nina Copeland, all of LaGrange; and two brothers, Bobby Lee McClendon of Norcross and T.J. McClendon of Philadelphia, Pa.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Central Baptist Church in Lilburn with the Rev. Kimbell officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

James J. Duncan
James Jackson Duncan, 83, of 502 Broad St., died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Duncan, born February 14, 1917, in Clarksburg, W.Va., was the son of the late George Lee and Gertrude Smith Duncan. He was a Marine veteran of World War II, having served as a radar operator in the Southwest Pacific and Vella La Vella. He had lived here since 1969 and retired from the Fidelity and Deposit Company of Baltimore, Md., as resident vice - president of the Atlanta branch for 40 years. He also worked as a consultant for Hammond - Hudson - Holder. He was an active member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Allison Johnston Duncan of LaGrange; a daughter and son - in - law, Amy D. and John M. Jackson of Decatur; a son, James Ross Duncan of LaGrange; three granddaughters, Shannon Laine Duncan of LaGrange; and Sarah Elizabeth Jackson and Nikki Ruth Jackson, both of Decatur; and many nieces and nephews in Clarksburg, W.Va.
Memorial services will be at 1 this afternoon at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Bill Conine officiating.
The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church immediately following the services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Camp Viola or Twin Cedars in memory of Mr. Duncan.
