Walter Hall Jr.
Walter Hall Jr. died Tuesday at The Medical Center in Columbus.
Mr. Hall, was born in Meriwether County.
Survivors include three brothers, Willie J. Hall and Willie F. Hall, both of LaGrange and Willie E. Hall of Chicago; two sisters, Emma Bridges of Hamilton and Rosa Bruce of LaGrange; and several other relatives.
Graveside Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Southview cemetery with the Rev. Johnny Freeman officiating.
The family will be at the home of his brother, Willie Hall at 301 Brown St., and will receive friends this evening at West Georgia Mortuary from 7 until 8.

Mrs. Katherine Williams
Mrs. Katherine Mize Williams, 73, of Slidell, La., died Friday in Cedartown.
The Claude A. McKibben & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Grover M. Whitley
Grover M. (Whit) Whitley Jr., of Suwanee died Thursday.
Mr. Whitley was a native Atlantan with ties to LaGrange. He attended Dykes and North Springs High Schools and attended Shorter College. He spent his business career in the ready - mix concrete and construction fields.
Survivors include his parents, Grover M. Whitley Sr., and Virginia Borders Whitley, of Atlanta; a sister, Jerry Burgess of Sandy Springs; two nieces, Wynn Burgess and Courtney Burgess of Decatur; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Graveside services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in Shadowlawn cemetery with the Rev. Helen Henry officiating.
A.S. Turner and Sons of Decatur is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Kelly
Mrs. Mary Agnes Myhand Kelly, 82, of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., died Monday in Torrance, Calif.
Mrs. Kelly was born July 31, 1918 in Troup County. She and her husband owned and operated Kelly's Hardware Store in Cleveland, Ohio, and she retired as an administrative assistant from Coleman Engineering Aerospace Co., in Torrance. She was a Baptist, a member of the National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution and interested in china painting.
Survivors are several cousins including Rachel Jones and Richard H. Mallory, both of LaGrange. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John Kelly; her parents, George Henry and Martha Paulyne Mallory Myhand; and a brother, Alwyn Myhand.
Funeral services will be graveside today at 3 p.m. in Shadowlawn cemetery with the Rev. Olin McClain officiating.
Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mae Crawford
Mrs. Mae Crawford, 88, formerly of Hogansville died Wednesday in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in St. Paul A.M.E. in Hogansville. The Rev. W.E. Geter will officiate, and burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
Thrash and Sons Funeral Home, 117 W. Main St., in Hogansville, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Victoria Walker
Mrs. Victoria Walker of 1008 Park Ave., died Thursday in her home.
A native of Troup County, Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late William and Mary Roberts Brown. She was retired from the housekeeping department of Stran Hotel and was a member of Mount Airy United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Sallie Barton and Mary Ridgeway, both of LaGrange; one brother, Gus Brown, of Atlanta; two sisters - in - law, Janie Brown and Bessie Brown, both of LaGrange; nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymond Walker.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Mount Airy United Methodist Church with the Rev. Frances Butler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will be at their home.
A service by Mackey - Wilson - Jennings Funeral Home.

Mrs. Martha Crenshaw
Mrs. Martha Spratling Rainey Esaias Crenshaw, 93, of LaGrange died Sunday at The Suites at Poplar Creek.
Mrs. Crenshaw, born September 26, 1907, in Macon, was the daughter of the late Dr. J.H. Sr. and Pauline Wagener Spratling. She had lived in LaGrange for the past five years and was a former resident of Atlanta. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange and was a former member of the Junior League of Atlanta.
Survivors include a son and daughter - in - law, Dr. Cliff and Faye Rainey of LaGrange; a daughter - in - law, Ruth Esaias of Berryville, Va.; stepchildren, Carlton Crenshaw Jr. of Warner Robins and Jane Crenshaw; grandchildren, Brian S.. Rainey of LaGrange, Martha Booros of Dunkirk, Md., Anne Esaias of Auburn, Wash., and John D. Esaias of Pittsburgh, Pa.; several step grandchildren and great - grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Striffler - Hamby Mortuary at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road with the Revs. Greg Porterfield, Helen Henry and Dr. Stewart Gulley officiating. A private burial will be in Riverside cemetery in Macon.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of the First United Methodist Church of LaGrange, 401 Broad St., LaGrange, Ga. 30240.

Mrs. Martha Skinner of 302 Johnson St., died Thursday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Local survivors include a son and daughter - in - law, Raymond and Bertha Skinner of LaGrange.
Funeral services will be Wednesday in Elizabeth City, N.C.
Watson Funeral Home in Elizabeth City is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Paralee Stevens
Mrs. Paralee Stevens, 91, of LaFayette, formerly of LaGrange, died Saturday in LaFayette.
Mrs. Stevens, born November 1, 1909, in Troup County, was the daughter of the late James Monroe and Lillie Belle Moore Toney. She had lived in LaFayette for 10 years and was a member of the Church of Christ. She retired from the Hillside Plant of Callaway Mills Company.
Survivors include a daughter and son - in - law, Fay and Gordon Cardwell of LaFayette; two grandson and their wives, Bill and Susan Cardwell of Doraville and Dr. Lee and Kim Cardwell of LaFayette. five great - grandsons; a sister, Lois Watson of LaGrange; and a brother, Leon Toney of Norwich, England.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Restlawn Memory Gardens with Louis Lester officiating.
The family will receive friends at Striffler - Hamby Mortuary at 1010 Mooty Bridge Road Tuesday afternoon from 1:00 until 1: 45.

Artie James Storey
Artie James Storey, 73, of 121 Meeks St. in Griffin, died Monday at Spalding Regional Hospital.
Mr. Story, born Sept. 25, 1927 in Troup County, was the son of the late Euel Chester and Nannie L. Simmons Storey. He was a retired welder and worked part time at Sindy Lee's Welding Co. He was a veteran of the United States marines having served in World War II and Korea.
Survivors include his daughter and fiancee, Mary Irene Storey and Troy Bradley Wooten; a grandson, Wesley Cole Wooten, and former wife, Mary L. Storey, all of Griffin.
Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6 until 8.
Conner - Westbury Funeral Home at 1891 West McIntosh Road in Griffin is in charge of arrangements.

James Hayes, 78, of 1407 East Main St. in Hogansville, died Monday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Funeral services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's United Methodist Church in Hogansville with the Rev. Gregory Williams officiating. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.

Ken Armstrong
Ken Armstrong, 51, of Valley, Ala., died Tuesday at George H. Lanier Memorial Hospital in Valley.
Mr. Armstrong, born Sept. 28, 1949 in South Carolina, was the son of the late A.C. and Gladys Armstrong. He had worked for Thompson Carriers in Opelika, Ala.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Sullivan Armstrong; a son, Eric Wayne Armstrong of Easley, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Tabitha Garner of LaGrange and Tracie Nelson of Beulah, Ala.; a stepson, Charles Favors of White Plains, Ala.; a brother, Archie V. Armstrong of Anderson, S.C.; a sister, Norma Jean Lynn of Indiana, and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. EDT Thursday at Johnson Brown - Service Funeral Home in Valley with the Revs. Joseph H. Shuck and Blake Lockhart officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at funeral home this evening from 7 until 9 EDT.
