Mrs. Christine Harvey Park, 93, of 404 Ridgecrest Road died today at her home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Striffler - Hamby - Mortuary.
Striffler - Hamby Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lucille Whitten
Mrs. Lucille Whitten, 81, of 2267 Hamilton Road, died Saturday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Whitten, born August 25, 1920, was the daughter of the late Daniel and Sadie Hilton Smith. She had lived here most of her life and was a homemaker. Mrs. Whitten was formerly employed of Callaway Mills.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Whitten of LaGrange; two daughters, Pat Waugh of Hogansville and Brenda Jackson of Marietta; three sons and daughters - in - law, Ronnie Nasworthy of Jacksonville, Ala., Huby and Beth Nasworthy and Jim and Barb Nasworthy, all of Pine Mountain; 10 grandchildren; nine great - grandchildren; a sister, Jewell Brown of Bowden and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home. Burial will be in Meadoway Gardens Cemetery.
The family will be at the home of her son and daughter - in - law, Jim and Barb Nasworthy, at 200 Nelson Road in Pine Mountain and will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 to 6.
Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Mamie Brown of 105 Brown St., died Sunday at West Georgia Medical Center.

Mrs. Sue H. Paul
Mrs. Sue Hadaway Paul, 78, of Charleston, S.C., died Friday.
Mrs. Paul, born November 26, 1922 in LaGrange, was the daughter of Dr. William Hugh Hadaway and Martha Cleveland Hadaway. She attended Converse College and graduated from the University of Georgia where she majored in music and sang soprano. Mrs. Paul was a member of First (Scots) Presbyterian Church, Junior League of Charleston, Ivy Garden Club, Albarmarle Supper Club, and the 'Lunch Bunch.' Mrs. Paul was a volunteer with Hospital Ship Hope in Sri Lanka and Jamaica.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. John Robertson Paul Jr., of Charleston, S.C.; two sons, Hugh H. Paul and John Robertson Paul II, both of Charleston; two daughters, Susan Paul Firestone of New York, Anne Paul Majak of Wellington, Fla.; six grandchildren, Mary C. Firestone and Lucy D. Firestone, Carl R. Wilander, J. Paul Wilander, Anne Drummond Paul, and Christen S. Majak; two sisters, Ann H. Greer of Owensboro, Ky., and Virginia Lancaster of LaGrange.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at First (Scots) Presbyterian Church in Charleston.
Memorials may be made to the Coastal Center, 9995 Miles Jamison Road, Ladson, S.C., 29456 or to the John Ancrum Society (SPCA), 3861 Leeds Ave., North Charleston, S.C., 29405 in memory of Mrs. Paul.

Addie Mae Strozier
Mrs. Addie Mae Strozier, 91, formerly of Hogansville died October 5 in LaGrange.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church in Greenville with the Rev. McArthur Blount officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The cortege will leave at 1:15 p.m. from Thrash and Sons Funeral Home.

Catherine J. Nichols
Mrs. Catherine J. Nichols of 319 Cooley Road died Tuesday at Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Nichols, born in Seargent, was the daughter of the late Willie Clifford and Ollie Idella Pitts Johnson. She had lived here all of her life, was a homemaker and worked at Hillside Plant of Callaway Mills. Mrs. Nichols was a faithful listener of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, George L. Nichols; a son and daughter - in - law, George Gregory and Jenny Nichols; a daughter and a son - in - law, Cathy Lynn and John Harold Richardson; two grandchildren and a spouse, Bobby and Aaron Nichols and April Nichols, all of LaGrange; a sister, Mary Evelyn Hicks of Griffin; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles W. Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memory Gardens.
The family will be at the home of her son and daughter - in - law, George and Jenny Nichols, at 322 South River Run Drive in Grayson's Landing and will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice LaGrange in memory of Mrs. Nichols.

Edwin Armstrong
Edwin Armstrong, 80, of Pine Mountain died Tuesday at Florence Hand Home.
Mr. Armstrong, born March 4, 1921 in Pine Mountain, was the son of the late James T. and Frances Myhand Armstrong. He had lived in Pine Mountain all of his life and retired from Newnan Construction Company as a heavy equipment superintendent. Mr. Armstrong was a member of First Baptist Church in Pine Mountain and graduated from Chipley High School. He was a United States Army veteran of World War II, having served in the 1886 Engineering Battalion.
Survivors include his wife, Robbie F. Armstrong of Pine Mountain; a daughter and son - in - law, Ellen A. and Donald A. Phillips of Macon; a son and daughter - in - law, Jerry E. and Lydia Armstrong of Pine Mountain; three grandsons, Zack Phillips of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Chris Armstrong and Jason Armstrong, both of LaGrange; four sisters, Nancy K. Swint of Columbus, Doris Armstrong and Peggy A. Smith, both of Pine Mountain and Myra Wright of Bridge City, Texas.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Pine Mountain cemetery with the Revs. Wayne Hollaway and Joel Chapman officiating.
The family will be at his home and will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to First Baptist Church in Pine Mountain or The American Heart Association in memory of Mr. Armstrong.

Garrett P. Quedens, 27, of Nashville, Tenn., formerly of LaGrange, died Monday in Nashville.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Advent Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Greenwood cemetery in Roswell.

Leroy Bray of 445 Big - Springs - Mountville Road died October 7 at his home.
Mr. Bray, a native of Meriwether County, was the son of the late Ossie and Rosie Lee Bray. He was a member of Mount Pleasant C.M.E. Church and was a employee of Robert Components.
Survivors include his wife, Mable T. Bray of Mountville; two daughters, Kimberly Bray, Tofia Bray; a son, Daron Bray, all of Mountville; two grandsons, Drakarius Bray, and Braylon Sanders; two sisters and four brothers, Rosie Lee Burks, of Mountville, Nellie and David Jennings, of Whitesville, James and Martha Bray of Atlanta, Willie and Flora Bray of Flint, Mich., Willie and Chris Bray of Hogansville, and Jaycee and Deborah Bray of LaGrange; his mother - in - law, Tilda Mae Thornton of Louise; three sisters - in - law and six brothers - in - law, Annie and Talbert Dyer of Evanston, Ill., Margaret Fitzpatrick and Tommy and Dorothy Thornton, all of Louise, Beatrice and Bernie Jackson and Joseph and Catherine Thornton, all of LaGrange, James and Eva Carter of Atlanta, Willie and Lucille Thornton, Walter Thornton, and the Rev. Lonnie and Sybrenna Thornton, all of Mountville; friends, Raymon Cofield, Jerry Towns and Charles Sanders; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mount Pleasant C.M.E. Church with the Rev. Lovett Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Needmore Cemetery.
The family will be at their home.

Mrs. Ruby (Dot Johnson) Yarbrough, 69, of 64 N. Cary St., Apt. Q75, died Monday at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mrs. Yarbrough, born December 22, 1931 in Troup County, was the daughter of the late Truitt and Ellie Myrtice Daniel Buchanan. She had lived her most of her life. She was a homemaker and had worked at the Hillside Plant of Callaway Mills.
Survivors include four daughters and three sons - in - law, Becky Johnson of LaGrange, Sheila and Paul Judkins of Florence, Colo., Diane and Charlie Lee and Sherry and James Purgason, all of LaGrange; a son, Terry Lee Johnson of Carrollton; 13 grandchildren, Trina Johnson, Kevin Buchanan, Joey Quinton, Rhonda Knight, Eric Smith, Brandy Long, Shawn Lee, Angel Lee, Crystal Lee, Chris Thomas and Chad Thomas, all of LaGrange; T.J. Johnson and Blake Johnson, both of Carrollton; seven great - grandchildren, Corey Jones, McKella Jones, Alexis Bonner, Breanne Buchanan, Clayton Caldwell, Christopher Thomas, and Erin Thomas; three sisters and a brother - in - law, Myrtice Moody of Warm Springs, Mildred Cofield of LaGrange and Emma and Jack Mitchell of Opelika, Ala. She was preceded in death by here husband, Willie Johnson.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday at Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home with Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Hillview East Cemetery.
The family will receive be at her home and will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.
Hunter - Allen - Myhand Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Theodore B. Fain Jr.
Theodore Bryant 'Ted' Fain Jr., of LaGrange, formerly of Dawson, died October 5 at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Fain, born December 1, 1923, was the son of the late Theodore Bryant Fain Sr. and Essie Godwin Fain. He was a United States Marine veteran of World War II and was a resident of Terrell County most of his life. Mr. Fain retired as a locksmith.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Lee Fain of LaGrange; four daughters, Jan Fain Cockeroft of Dawsonville, Sherry Fain Miller and Joyce Fain, both of LaGrange; and Roseanne Fain of Lake Forest, Calif.; five grandchildren, Tammy, Terry, Bryant, Billy and Ricky; and five great - grandchildren, Sara K. Tyler, Ryan, Bryant and Shelby. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Sue Fain Vance.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at East Vernon Baptist Church in LaGrange with the Rev. Scott Russell officiating.
Memorials may be made to Toys for Tots Program of the United States Marine Corps or The Youth Program of East Vernon Baptist Church, 2918 Roanoke Road, LaGrange, Ga 30240.
