Lucille H. Nance of Rossville, Ga., died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, in a local health care facility. She was 82.
Arrangements will be announced by the South Crest Chapel of the Lane Funeral Home.
Robert Norman Jr.
RINGGOLD, Ga. - Robert Leonard Norman Jr. died Feb. 2, 1998, at his residence. He was 50.
Mr. Norman was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jan Norman, Ringgold; father, Robert "R.L.' Norman Sr., Rossville; mother, Jewell Roach, Chickamauga, Ga.; two daughters, Wanda Dean and Sherry Hartman, both of Ringgold; son, Robby Norman, Ringgold; three brothers, Larry and Terry Norman, both of Ringgold, and Ronald Norman, LaFayette; and three grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe, with Pastor J. Lamar Davis and the Rev. Tom Marrette officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends all day today.
William Lackey
William Lackey of Lookout Mountain, Ga., died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 1998, in a local hospital. He was 42.

Florine Ladd
Florine Austin Ladd of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., died Thursday, Feb. 5, 1998, at a local hospital. She was 92.
A native of Chattanooga, she was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church, the widow of Barney Ladd, and the mother of the late Oliver Lee McKeehan.
Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann Morgan; sister, Alma Benton; four stepdaughters; stepson; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Jerry Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ossie Marie Barnes Lambert of Rossville, Ga., died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at noon in the chapel at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

DALTON, Ga. - Jessie Lee Littlejohn Langley died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, in an area hospital. She was 88.
A native of Chickamauga, Ga., she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dalton.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Thomas Milton Langley; three daughters, Sue Bartenfeld, Kay Moyd and Beth Burdick, all of Dalton; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, with Dr. Billy T. Nimmons officiating.
Burial will be in the LaFayette cemetery in LaFayette, Ga.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Love Funeral Home in Dalton.

Mary Mae Lawson of Chickamauga, Ga., died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 1998, in a local hospital. She was 55.
A native of Ohio, she had lived in the Chickamauga area for the past 40 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, John H. Lawson Jr.; son, Luther S. Wilson, Rossville, Ga.; stepson, Mark Little; stepdaughter, Anita Little, both of LaFayette, Ga.; sister, Darlene Quinn, Chattanooga; brother, James Gentry, Dayton, Tenn.; two grandchildren and one stepgrandchild.
The funeral will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at W.L. Wilson and Sons Funeral Home in Fort Oglethorpe with the Rev. Thurston Garrett officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Olive cemetery on Lookout Mountain.
Visitation will be all day today at the funeral home.

Lillie W. Cook of Smyrna, Ga., formerly of Chattanooga, died Saturday, Jan. 24, 1998. She was 78.
She was a resident of Chattanooga for 30 years before moving to Smyrna in 1996.
Survivors include her sister, Bonnie Peacock of Smyrna; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Castellaw Funeral Home in Smyrna, with the Rev. Larry Attic officiating.
Burial will be in Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Lakewood Memory Gardens in Chattanooga.
The family will receive friends today from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home in Smyrna.

CHATSWORTH, Ga. - William Clester Lowery "Cle' died Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998, in an area hospital. he was 79.
He was the brother of the late Frank Lowery.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Lowery, Chatsworth; one daughter, Frances Coffey, Ellijay, Ga.; three sons, Vernon Lowery, Charles Lowery, Kenneth Lowery, all of Chatsworth; two sisters, Jeffie Ratcliff, Dalton, Ga., Odell Baggett, Chatsworth; nine grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be today at 4 p.m. in the Peeples Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in Center Hill Cemetery.

RINGGOLD, Ga. - Adena Faye Miller McDade of Ringgold, formerly of Soddy-Daisy died Thursday, Jan. 11, 1998, at her home. She was 53.
She was a member of Parkway Baptist Temple in Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.
Survivors include her husband, Glenn McDade, Ringgold; two sons, Bobby Davis, Soddy-Daisy, and David Davis, Ringgold, Ga.; sister, Judie Rivera, El Paso, Texas; brother, Bill Miller, Soddy-Daisy; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Williamson and Sons Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy with ministers Wilburn Hardyman and Richard Byers officiating.
