William Durham
ROSSVILLE - William Richard "Ricky' Durham Jr. died Wednesday, April 28, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 35.
He was an employee of Synthetic Industries and a member of New Life Church in Fort Oglethorpe.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Durham; a sister, Selana Darlene Durham; a brother, Michael Glenn Durham; and his grandparents, Robert M. and Blanche Adkins.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Durham; parents, William R. "Sonny' and Jeri Frances Durham, Rossville; grandfather, Guy Durham, Rossville; stepchildren, Josh Tennant and Kasie Hudgens, both of Rossville; and a sister, Carla Eischeid, Cleveland, Tenn.
Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Gennoe and the Rev. Rich Brock officiating.
Burial will be in Beulah Church cemetery in Flat Rock, Ala.
Visitation will be all day today at the funeral home.

FLINTSTONE - J.E. Haubenreich died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in Fort Myers, Fla. He was 81.

Roy Jarrard WILDWOOD - Roy Jarrard died Monday, April 25, 1999, in Tuscaloosa, Ala. He was 80.

ATLANTA - Gerald H. Kelley died Monday, April 26, 1999, in Atlanta. He was 78.
A graveside service will be today at 11 a.m. in Chattanooga National cemetery with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.

Johnnie Kenner
RINGGOLD - Johnnie W. Kenner died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at her home. She was 84.
Mrs. Kenner was a graduate of Girls Preparatory School and attended Lipscomb College in Nashville.
She was the widow of Ralph Kenner Sr., a homemaker and a member of Ringgold Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph Kenner Jr., Ringgold, and John Kenner, Hixson; a brother, the Rev. James L. Wilbanks, Ooltewah; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be today at 2 p.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. James L. Wilbanks and the Rev. Dan Kenner officiating.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
C.W. Lynn VALDOSTA - C.W. "Charlie' Lynn died Monday, April 26, 1999, at his home. He was 66.
CharlieLynn The Chattanooga native was a carpenter and had lived in Lowndes County and Houston, Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Hilda Hughes Lynn, Valdosta; three sons, Ronnie, Roy and David Lynn; a daughter, Teresa Wyatt, all of Cleveland, Tenn.; brother, Clinton Lynn, Mississippi; seven sisters, Dorothy Roelae and Irene Lindsey, both of Chattanooga, Grace Branum and Jane Mitchell, both of Louisville, Ky., Linda Hope and Judy Franko, both of Dallas, and Carolyn Hayes, Rocky Face, Ga.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park with Dale Armstrong officiating.
Burial will be in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
David McCord
FORT OGLETHORPE - David O. McCord died Tuesday, April 27, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 76.
Mr. McCord, a native of Lynchburg, Tenn., had lived in Nashville before moving to Fort Oglethorpe three years ago. He was a member of Fort Oglethorpe United Methodist Church and the Eastgate Senior Citizens.
He was retired after working as an accountant for many years and was the husband of the late Eula Johnson McCord.
Survivors include two sons, Bill McCord, Chattanooga, and Don McCord, Bethleham, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 9 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road, with the Rev. Benny Matherly officiating.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Lynchburg Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Area 4 Special Olympics, Senior Neighbors or Ronald McDonald House.
Visitation will be today from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Charles McKinney
CALHOUN - Charles Manly "Rock' McKinney died Tuesday, April 27, 1999. He was 61.
He was a director of manufacturing in the carpet industry and a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church and the Dalton Golf and Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Cornellia Webster McKinney; a son, Rocklan "Rocky' McKinney; sister, Mozell Medlina; and a brother, Joseph McKinney.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Hester McKinney; a daughter, Cindy Mitchell; three sisters, Blake Smith, Dot Shelton and Elizabeth Taylor; eight brothers, Douglas, Ford, Lewis, John, Ralph, William, Kenneth and Clyde McKinney; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at Calhoun First Baptist Church with Dr. Bert Vaughn officiating.
Burial will be in Fain Cemetery.

RINGGOLD - Mildred M. McNew, a retired teacher and co-owner of McNew Pharmacy in Ringgold, died Monday, April 26, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 80.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Battlefield Parkway, with minister Mike Gurganus officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends today after 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Phyllis Murphy
DALTON - Phyllis Sprowl Murphy of Detroit, formerly of Dalton, died recently in a Detroit hospital. She was 89.
She was the widow of Arthur Murphy and a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Dalton and Greater Grace Temple in Detroit.
Survivors include a daughter, Leone Murphy Nelson, Detroit; sister, Hattie Hillman, Dalton; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home in Dalton, with elder Reuben Graham and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from noon until the service at the funeral home.
