RINGGOLD, Ga. - Larry P. Wallin, a retiree from Combustion/ABB with 40 years of service in graphic designs, died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, at his home. He was 62.
Services will be today at 3:30 p.m. at W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith McLeod officiating.
Burial will be in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
Fannie Whitlock
JEFFERSON, Ga. - Fannie Elvira Whitlock died Tuesday, March 30, 1999, in Commerce, Ga. She was 86.
She was a Baptist and a retired inspector from Jefferson Mills.
Survivors include four brothers, James Whitlock, Belton, S.C., Ernest Whitlock, Commerce, Harmon Whitlock, Statham, Ga., and Austin Whitlock, Chickamauga, Ga.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Gerald Mitton and the Rev. Terry Wofford officiating.
Arrangements are by Jackson Funeral Home in Jefferson, Ga.

Watson Abney
RINGGOLD, Ga. - Watson Abney died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in a local hospital. He was 81.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard E. Clark officiating.
Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery.
Brent Bayer
TRENTON, Ga. - A memorial services for Brent Alan Bayer will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Cantrell officiating.
He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was 16.
Brent was a sophomore at Dade County High School, a member of the varsity baseball team and was a member of Pine Castle First Baptist Church in Orlando, Fla., where he was a former resident.
Survivors include his parents, Paula and Keith Bayer, Trenton; grandmothers, Patsy Louton, and Ann Bayer, and one great-grandmother, Margaret Leengran, all of Orlando.
The body will be cremated.
Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and after 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dade County High School Baseball Team.

CALHOUN, Ga. - Thomas J. Brown Jr. died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in an Atlanta hospital.
He was a lifetime resident of Calhoun, a member of First United Methodist Church and for many years he had served as President of Georgia Textile and Georgia Tufters Corporations.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Daves Brown, Calhoun; two sons, Thomas J. "Jeff' Brown III, and Frederick H. "Rick' Brown, Calhoun; one daughter, Dana Gay, Gainesville, Ga.; one brother, John M. Brown, Calhoun; and four granddaughters.
Services will be today at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edgar Padgett and other ministers officiating.
Burial will be in Fain Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Winner's Club of Calhoun or the First United Methodist Church of Calhoun.

SUMMERVILLE, Ga. - Ruby Jewel Chastain died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 80.
She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church and the widow of Harley B. Chartain.
Survivors include two grandsons, Robert M. Chastain, Villa Rica, Ga., and Lonnie E. Chastain, Summerville; two sisters, Audrey Wright and Carolyn Williams, Forrest Park, Ga.; one brother, Ernest Hogue, Dallas, Ga.; four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Evans.
