Burial will be in Rock Spring, Ga., Cemetery.
James Prigmore
TRENTON, Ga. - James Anderson 'Jim' Prigmore died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, at his home. He was 71.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel with the Rev. Eddie Cantrell and Ellis Carpenter officiating.
Burial will follow in Chattanooga Memorial Park Cemetery.

Melvin McSears
LaFAYETTE, Ga. - Melvin 'Frank' McSears died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, in an area health care center. He was 75.
Services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church in LaFayette, with the Rev. Donald White and other ministers officiating.
The body will be at Willis Funeral Home today after noon and at the church one hour before the service on Monday.
Wilma Long
ROME, Ga. - Wilma Jean Long died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 61.
She was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Clemmie Mason, Cleveland, Ohio, and Jimmie Vaughn, Summerville, Ga.
Arrangements will be announced by Willis Funeral Home in Dalton, Ga.
Goldie Evett
SUMMERVILLE, Ga. - Goldie Lanford Evett died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, in a local health care facility. She was 88.
She was a native of Cherokee County, Ala., attended the Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, James Evett.
Survivors include three sons, Rolett Evett and James Evett, both of Summerville, and Carl Evett, Lanette, Ala.; seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held today at 2:30 p.m. at J.D. Hill Funeral Home with the Rev. Scott Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be today from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Linell Curtis
CALHOUN, Ga. - Linell Curtis died Friday, Jan. 22, 1999, in an area hospital. He was 73.

Ruby Fletcher
ROSSVILLE, Ga. - Ruby Joyce Fletcher died Saturday, Jan. 23, 1999, in a North Georgia hospital. She was 84.
She was formerly of Fyffe, Alabama.
Survivors include one son, Howard Fletcher Sr., Rossville; two sisters, Cleova Busby, Atlanta, and Evalene, Gilbert, College Station, Texas; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at W.T. Wilson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Faye Carpenter
RINGGOLD, Ga. - Faye Etta Carpenter died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 75.
Services will be today at 2 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. A.L. Sisk Jr. and the Rev. Greg Nash officiating.
Burial will be in Boanerges cemetery in Cleveland, Tenn.

Robbie Bishop
DALTON, Ga. - Robbie Edward Bishop, a captain of the Villa Rica Police Department, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999.
He was a native of Dalton, Ga., and was a member of New Georgia Baptist Church. He served in the United States Marines.
He was a 14-year veteran law enforcement officer. He served in various counties including Murray, Cherokee, Henry, Butts and Lowndes.
Services will be today at 1:30 p.m. at New Georgia Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Ga., with Dr. Roy Crowe officiating and with Villa Rica Police Chief Dean Maddox delivering the eulogy.
Burial will follow in Whitfield Memorial Gardens in Dalton, Ga., with full military honors by U.S. Marines from Parris Island, S.C., and with the Rev. Carson Scarborough officiating.

Survivors include one stepson, Frank Smith III, Red Bank; two daughters, Patricia Ross and Deborah Murray, both of Ringgold; two brothers, James Rogers, Bowling Green, Ky., and J.P. Waddell, Panama City, Fla.; one sister, Peggy Key, Manchester, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Calvary Memorial Baptist Church with the Rev. A.L. Sisk Jr. and the Rev. Greg Nash officiating.

Melton Carter
RINGGOLD, Ga. - Melton L. Carter died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1999, in a local health care facility. He was 75.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was awarded a Purple Heart.
He was a retired truck driver and the widower of Willie Mae Carter.
Survivors include one sister, Jean Burgess, Powell, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be today at 3 p.m. at Mount Vernon cemetery in Ringgold.
Visitation will be today from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home.
