RINGGOLD, Ga. - Jody LaDell Eaker died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. He was 25.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Wallis-Stewart Funeral Home with the Rev. Danny Henson and Wayne Hamrick officiating.
Burial will be in New Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.

CALHOUN, Ga. - Dorothy Dodd Ellis died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999. She was 76.

Burial will be in Fain Cemetery.

CALHOUN, Ga. - Doug Fountain died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999.

Frances Gladden
CRANDALL, Ga. - Frances Garland Gladden died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at her home. She was 77.
She was a native of Bradley County, Tenn., and was the wife of the late John Fay Garland.
Survivors include two daughters, Judy Boring, Crandall, and Jody Haney, Bloomington, Calif.; six sons, Johnny Garland, Blue Ridge, Ga., Tom and Ronald Garland, Chatsworth, Ga., Steve and Randy Garland, Rocky Face, Ga., Donald Garland, Epworth, Ga.; one sister, Mary Head, Dalton; 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ponders Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stover and Paul Bryant officiating.
Burial was in the Boring family cemetery.
Dianne Grissett Dianne Chaney Grissett of Riverdale, Ga., and formerly of Dalton, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, in a Decatur, Ga., hospital.
Arrangements will be announced by Willis Funeral Home, Dalton.
Mary Watkins
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Mary Josephine Watkins died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 91.
She was the grandmother of the late Chris Watkins.
Survivors include her husband, J.B. Watkins, Chatsworth; two daughters, Mary Nelson, Dalton, and Elizabeth Hill, Dunwoody, Ga.; two sons, James and Lamar Watkins, Chatsworth; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Peeples Funeral Home with Dr. Charlz McDonald and the Rev. Doug Meyer officiating.
Burial will be in Chatsworth Heights Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Constance Wilson
CALHOUN, Ga. - Constance Jean Wilson died Monday, Jan. 18, 1999, at her home. She was 63.
She was born in Gary, Ind., a daughter of the late Frank and Margaret Judis. She was a member of Saint Clement's Catholic Church and the widow of Lonnie Wilson.
Survivors include four daughters, Susan Isham, Calhoun, Dainne Virden, Pekin, Ill., Donna Gerrard, Peoria, Ill., and Mary Ellen Devols, Victoria, Texas; two sons, Michael Adkins, Pekin, Ill., and Robert Adkins, Washington, Ill.; one brother, Robert Judis, Maryland; and 13 grandchildren.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Wilson cemetery in LaFollette, Tenn.
Frances Robinson
CHATSWORTH, Ga. - Frances Robinson died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, in an area hospital. She was 87.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Huea Robinson.
Survivors include one daughter, Virginia Richards, Chatsworth; one grandson, and one great-grandson.
Services will be today at 11 a.m. at Spring Place Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Batchelor and the Rev. Danny Watters officiating.
Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery.
The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Place Baptist Church building fund.

RINGGOLD, Ga. - Doreen Jeanette Nicely died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1999, in a local hospital. She was 76.

DALTON, Ga. - W.D. Betton died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at his home.

Robert Bridges
ATHENS, Ga. - Dr. Robert E. 'Ned' Bridges Jr. died Sunday, Jan. 17, 1999, at his home. He was 46.
Dr. Bridges was born in Fulton County and had lived in Athens since 1970. He was a graduate of Dalton High School and received his B.A. degree in Psychology from the University of Texas, and his masters and Ph.D. in Physiology from the University of Georgia.
He was a rehabilitation psychologist and specialized in persons with physical disabilities.
He worked with Sink & Associates in Athens, was a board member of Athens Folk Society and a member of Athens First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Robert E. Bridges Sr., Gainesville, Ga.; one daughter, Maggie Bridges, Athens, Ga.; one sister, Kathy Huie, Calhoun, Ga.; two brothers, Lee Bridges, Doraville, Ga., and Scott Bridges, Winder, Ga.; grandmother, Pauline Montgomery, Arcadia, Fla.
Services will be today at 1 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church, Gainesville, with the Rev. A.F. Turnell officiating.
The family will receive friends after the services in the church atrium.
