She is survived by husband, Matthew (Matt) Price Sr. of Fairburn; son, Matthew (Matt and Robin) Price Jr. of Palmetto; sisters, Mrs. Janet Pollard, Fayetteville; Mrs. Myra Bowser, Milledgeville; Mrs. Becky Orr, Jackson GA; brothers, Mr. Jerry Pollard, Griffin; Mrs. Roger Pollard, Fairburn; grandchildren, Stephanie, Josh and Courtney Price, nieces, nephews and other family members.

A funeral will be Thursday, April 24 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home. Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Robert S. (Bob) Baldwin Sr. of Union City, Ga., (formerly of Atlanta) died April 20, 2003.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. E.W. and Betsy Copeland, Sharpsburg; sons and daughters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. (Bob and Cackie) Baldwin Jr., Matthews, N.C., Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Don and Pat) Baldwin, San Diego, CA; 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

A funeral will be Wednesday, April 23 at 3 p.m. at graveside, Arlington Memorial Park. Mr. Don R. Baldwin officiating.

The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peachtree City United Methodist Church, 400 Windgate Rd., Peachtree City, Ga. 30269.

A funeral will be Wednesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Harthern and Rev. Lawrence Robinson officiating. Burial in Yukon Cemetery.

Surviving are wife, Mary Varnadore Couch of the home; children, Michelle Moore, Carrollton, Ga., Shaun Wooten, Carrollton, Ga., Charles Kelly, Hiram, Ga.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Theresa and Jack Jackson, Tallapoosa, Ga., Judy and Joel Darsey, Newnan, Ga.; five grandchildren and three nephews.

The family will receive friends Tuesday after 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. William Louis Barbee, 46, of Fayetteville, Ga., died April 20, 2003 at Southern Regional Medical Center.

He was born August 16, 1956 in Fulton County, Ga. He was an auto painter for Keestone.

A funeral will be at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Wednesday, April 23 at 2 p.m. Dr. Steve Bingham will officiate. Visitation is Wednesday, April 23 from 1-2 p.m.

Surviving are parents, Murray and Barbara Barbee of Peachtree City, Ga.; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Sheila Barbee of Fayetteville; sister and brother-in-law, Carl and Bert Funk of McDonough; nephews; grandmother, Beatrice Fendel, East Point, Ga.

Ms. Cassandra Grunwald
Ms. Cassandra Grunwald, 37, of Peachtree City, Ga. died Wednesday, April 9, 2003.

Ms. Grunwald was born July 22, 1965, in Suffolk, N.Y. She was the beloved daughter of Ernest Grunwald and the late Beverly Grunwald. A graduate of Johnson Wales Culinary Academy, she had lived in Peachtree City for the last several years.

A memorial will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 2:30 p.m. at Picnic Park in Peachtree City. The park is located at Floy Farr Parkway and Willowbend Road, behind city hall. Friends are welcome to come and pay their respects to the family and bid their final farewells.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Cassandra's name to local animal shelters.

Surviving are her father, Ernest Grunwald of Moreland; and sisters Lydia Grunwald-Crawford of Newnan and Naomi Grunwald of Marietta.

Mr. Robert L. Johnson, 74, of Union City, Ga., died April 19, 2003 at Southern Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 13, 1928 in Troup County to Robert L. Johnson Sr. and Berter Henry Johnson. He was a self-employed pharmaceutical delivery person and an active member of Mercer Avenue Baptist Church in College Park.

A funeral will be at Higgins Hillcrest Chapel Tuesday, April 22 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Talmadge Walker officiating. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

Visitation was Monday from 7-9 p.m.

Surviving are wife, Edna Johnson; son and daughter-in-law, Edward and Sandra Bingham; daughters and sons-in-law, Dianne and Jack Phillips, Brenda and Wayne Rowland, Barbara Spruill; brother, Nathan Johnson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roberta and Lewis Childers, Joyce and Harvey Griffin; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Roy L. Murrell, 81, of Hogansville, Ga., died Sunday, April 20, 2003 at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

A funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 at Louise Baptist Church in Troup County. The Rev. Orman Harcrow and Dr. Ralph Taylor will officiate, and entombment will be in Shadowlawn Mausoleum in LaGrange.

Born April 13, 1922 in Walton County, Mr. Murrell was the son of the late Fred and Nellie Passmore Murrell. He was an Army veteran of World War II, had lived in Troup County since 1952, and was retired from the golf course maintenance department of Highland Country Club in LaGrange. An ordained Baptist minister, he was a member and deacon of Louise Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Grace Phillips Murrell of Hogansville; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and James Esposito of LaGrange; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dwight and Amy Murrell of Hogansville and Phillip and Donna Murrell of Hampstead, N.H.; sister, Mrs. Louis Fuller of Conyers; three brothers, Troy Murrell of Campton, Claude Murrell of Conyers and Cleo Murrell of Covington; five grandchildren, Brandy Browning and Christopher Murrell, both of Hogansville, Joey Esposito of LaGrange, and Mallory Murrell and Matt Murrell, both of Hampstead, N.H.; two great-grandchildren, Christy Fincher and Aaron Fincher.

Mrs. Eunice Lee (Boswell) Pate
Mrs. Eunice Lee (Boswell) Pate, 92, died Saturday, April 19, 2003 at Lakeland Highlands in Lakeland, Fla.

Mrs. Pate was born in Carroll County, Ga. May 4, 1910, daughter of Jim and Ida Belle Boswell and one of 17 children. She lived most of her life in Coweta County and was a member of First Baptist Church of Grantville.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Connie and Jimmy McAdams of Lakeland, Fla., and Jacqueline (Fitzgerald) Brown of Jasper, Ga.; three sisters, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by husband Grady Wiley Pate in 1957.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 22, from 6-8 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home.

A funeral will be in the McKoon chapel 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23. The Rev. Jimmy McAdams officiating. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Romer Pittman of Tyrone, Ga. died April 20, 2003.

Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Morris Pittman and his son, Joel Pittman.

Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Parrott, Tyrone; Tina and Andy Range, Fayetteville; Tabitha and Toney Williams, Fayetteville; son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Teresa Pittman, Tyrone; daughter-in-law, Barbara Pittman, Peachtree City; sister, Wanda Grace, Los Angeles, CA; brother, Neal Pittman, Union City; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter.

A funeral will be Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at the Tyrone First Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 2 p.m. Dr. James Burdette and Rev. William O. "Bill" Priester officiating. Burial in Holly Hill Memorial Park.

Mr. Frank Riggs, 77, of Newnan, Ga., died Sunday, April 20, 2003 at Newnan Hospital East in Newnan, Ga.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Newnan. He was born October 21, 1925 in Carroll County, Ga., son of Herman and Nettie Cobb Riggs. He was employed by J. C. Penny Co. Mr. Riggs served in the United States Navy during World War Two.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lindsey Riggs Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 71774, Newnan, Ga. 30271.

Surviving are daughter, Suzi (Riggs) Jackson of Newnan, Ga.; sons, Rodney Riggs of Newnan, Stan Riggs of Columbus, Ga., Mark Riggs of Newnan, Ga., stepsons, Cebron Nunnery of Tallahassee, Fla., and Danny Nunnery of Dawsonville, Ga.; sister, Jane Pope of Temple, Ga.; nine grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Miss Sarah Summers Snow
Miss Sarah Summers Snow, 100, died April 16, 2003.

She was born August 13, 1902 in Troup County, daughter of George B. and Olive Summers Snow. She was a resident of Newnan, Ga., and formerly of Decatur. She was a member of Clairmont Hills Baptist Church and a charter member of the Morningside Baptist Church. She retired after 35 years of service with the Penn Mutual Insurance Company. She graduated from Girls High School in Atlanta. After high school she graduated from business school as well. She was a member of the Euzelian Club. She spent her adult life in the Decatur area.

She is survived by cousins, Virginia and Elmo Harrell of Newnan and Jan and Bobby Boal of Senoia, as well as other cousins.

A funeral was held at graveside Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.

Mr. Howard (A.C.) White, 58, of Newnan, Ga., died April 15, 2003 at Crawford Long Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Heard Wesley U.M.C. with remains placed in state at 11 a.m.

The Rev. Dean, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Eastview Cemetery.

Brother Howard was retired from Joe McWater in Newnan. He was a member of Heard Wesley U.M.C. where he joined at an early age.

Ms. Hanson was born Dec. 4, 1932 in Newnan.

A grave-side service will be held Monday, April 21, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Gary Parish will officiate.

Surviving are nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mr. Ferrell T. McCann, 87, of Lone Oak, died Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Twin Fountains Home in LaGrange.

Mr. McCann was born March 21, 1916, in Chambers County, Ala., the son of the late Berry and Stella Wright McCann. A resident of Lone Oak since 1975, he was a retired textile employee and security guard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Calhoun McCann, and a son, Charlie McCann.

A funeral will be held Monday, April 21, 2003, in the chapel of the Claude A. McKibben and Son Funeral Home in Hogansville. The Rev. Robert Longshore will officiate and burial will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville.

Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Betty Jo McCann of LaGrange; brother Olin M. McCann of Florida; grandsons Tommy McCann, Terry McCann, Timmy McCann and Tony McCann, all of LaGrange; and five great-grandchildren.

Young Master William "Billy" Martin McClellan, 1, of Newnan, died Friday, April 18, 2003.

Master McClellan was born Nov. 1, 2001, in Atlanta to Scott McClellan and Sharon Williamson McClellan.

A funeral will be held Monday, April 21, 2003, at 4 p.m. at McKoon Funeral Home. Father Austin Fogarty will officiate, and burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive visitors Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his brother, Michael McCray; grandparents Ruth and Roy McClellan of Jonesboro, Joyce Williamson of Fayetteville and Tyrone Williamson; and great-grandparents Bill and Shirley Ermer of Bradenton, Fla.

Mrs. Oneta S. Horsley Parks
Mrs. Oneta S. Horsley Parks, 91, of Roscoe Road, died Thursday, April 17, 2003, at Newnan Hospital West.

Mrs. Parks was born May 11, 1911, in Heard County. She was a ninth of ten children born to the late John and Maude Phillips Horsley. She attended Smith Chapel School and joined Providence Baptist Church at an early age. After marrying Thomas "Gus" Parks on April 20, 1929, she joined Powell Chapel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the Mother's Board, Communion Steward, and the United Methodist Women. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Leonard Rosser.

A funeral will be held Monday, April 21, 2003, at 11 a.m. at Powell Chapel United Methodist Church on Old Atlanta Highway, with remains placed in state at 9:30 a.m. The Rev. Joe P. Geter, pastor, will officiate, assisted by Evangelist Pearl Moreland and Evangelist Susie Hudson. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery on Boone Drive. Serving as pallbearers will be her nephews and friends.

Family and friends will assemble at the residence on Monday at 10:45 a.m.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and John S. Rosser; grandchildren Juanita and her friend Robert, Marguerite, and Samuel and his wife Antoinette; great-grandchildren Shawn (Timeka) Christy, Toya, and their father, Cordell Bonner, Kimberly and Bianca and their father Ollis Elom, Jeremy, Keisha, Kenya, and Chaz; great-great grandchildren Jermel, Geoffrey, Makala, Jared, Jarrel, Meagan, and Kelsey; devoted niece Helen Berry; cousin Dorothy Bolton; special friends Cornelia Barker and Leila Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Ethel H. Vincent, 91, of LaGrange, died Friday, April 18, 2003, at West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Mrs. Vincent was born Oct. 7, 1911, in Turin, to the late Joseph and Fanny Hubbard. A resident of Indiana for a number of years, she lived in Greenville for 15 years before making her home in LaGrange in 1984. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fred Collins and Alexander Vincent.

A grave-side service was held Sunday, April 20, 2003, at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Rev. Marion Shivers officiating.

Surviving are her sisters, Faye Robinson of Americus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Emory and Jayne Monek of Gary, Ind.; and several nieces and nephews, including Sylvania Lankford and Henry Casewell of Hogansville.
