Dave Higinbotham
HAWKINSVILLE - Services for Dave J. Higinbotham will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Broad Street Baptist Church with burial in Orange Hill Cemetery. Higinbotham, 69, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998. He was a retired officer from the Georgia State Patrol and Georgia Bureau of Investigation and was retired from Turning Point Hospital as director of marketing and assistant administrator. He was a member and past president of Peace Officers Association, past president of Hawkinsville Lions Club, Scottish Rite Mason and member and past secretary of Mount Hope Lodge 9. He also was a member of Al Sihah Shrine Temple and member of Broad Street Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Higinbotham; children, Patty Nutt and Lewis Higinbotham, both of Eastman, Mike Higinbotham of Ellijay and Tommy Grinstead of Hawkinsville; sister, Irene Crowe of Eastman; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in Clark Funeral Home and may be contacted at 1 Pettey Drive, Hawkinsville. The body will be in the church at 2 p.m. Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman and Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville have charge of arrangements.
David Jackson Jr.
JEFFERSONVILLE - Services for David Jackson Jr. will be at 1 p.m. Sunday in Upper Mount Zion Baptist Church, Twiggs County, with burial in the church cemetery. Jackson, 61, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1998. Born in Twiggs County, he was the son of the late David Jackson Sr. Educated in Twiggs County, he was employed by D.B.K.
Survivors include his mother, Ada Jackson of Jeffersonville; and sisters, Ada Houston of Macon and Ida McBride of Columbus.

Mae Johnson
IRWINVILLE - Services for Mae Hughes Johnson will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, with burial in Bethany Cemetery. Johnson, 87, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. A homemaker, she was a member of Long Bridge Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sister, Jennie Richardson of Irwinville; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Anthony Kennedy
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Anthony F. Kennedy will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery, with full military honors. Kennedy, 66, died Monday, Nov. 23, 1998. He was a decorated Air Force veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War, when he was a B-26 bomber gunner. He was an electronics technician at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a fourth-degree knight and past grand knight in the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Kennedy; children, Kelly Coleman of Cordele, Michael Kennedy of Fort Valley, Russell Kennedy of Byron and Randal P. Kennedy of Bolingbroke; sisters, Ann Gardenor, Mary Aycotte, Teresa Fiske and Josephine Boisvert, all of Rhode Island; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 7 tonight in Christopher-Smith Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
Dorazell Lake
AMERICUS - Services for Dorazell Lake will be at 3 p.m. today in Oak Grove Cemetery. Lake, 76, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. Born in Wetumpka, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Tempie Grier. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda Hogg of Americus; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Jimmy McKenzie
SWAINSBORO - Services for Jimmy Clyde McKenzie will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Moore Family Cemetery. McKenzie, 57, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998, in Augusta after a brief illness. Born in Emanuel County, he was formerly employed at Handi-House Manufacturing. He was a member of Swainsboro Church of God.
Survivors include his brother, John McKenzie of Dellwood.

Harvey McNease Sr.
COCHRAN - Services for Harvey K. McNease Sr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Cochran First United Methodist Church with burial in Pulaski-Bleckley Memory Gardens. McNease, 75, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 1998. A Navy veteran of World War II, he was former head football coach at Fayette County, Irwin County, Thompson and Vidalia high schools. He was coach, athletic director and principal of Cochran High School. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and former chairman of the official board. He was a former member of Cochran Rotary Club.
Survivors include his wife, Mary McNease; children, Harvey McNease Jr. of Cochran and Suzanne Dudley of Lilburn; stepchildren, Joseph Brewster of Shalimar, Fla., John Brewster of Cedartown and Linda Ayers of Auburn, Ala.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Virginia Phelps
Services for Virginia Parks Phelps will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Jones Brothers Eastlawn Memorial Chapel. Burial will be private. Phelps, 70, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, 1998. She was the daughter of the late Will and Christine Parks. A former resident of New York, she was a member of Greater Allen Chapel AME Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Ann Brown of Macon; brother, Jerome Parks of Uniondale, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Antonio Sheppard
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Antonio Deante Sheppard, infant son of Felicia Sheppard and Johnny Lester, will be at noon today in Parkway Memorial Garden Cemetery. Antonio died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998.

UNADILLA - Services for Freddie Tanner will be at 11 a.m. today in Unadilla United Methodist Church with burial in Walnut Cemetery. Tanner, 73, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998. Born in Brooks County, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Cassie C. Folsom. She was a homemaker and member of Unadilla United Methodist Church and Juanita Brannen Friendship Circle. She had lived in Unadilla the past 30 years. She was the widow of Leonard Tanner.
Survivors include her children, Alvin Cooper and Dinah C. Grace, both of Unadilla; stepchildren, Bob Tanner of Florida and Eddie Tanner of Ann Arbor, Mich.; brother and sisters, Wilburn Folsom of Tallahassee, Fla., Betty Jean Fouchton of Live Oak, Fla., and Ada F. Jackson of Quitman; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Janice Temple of Tennille, Daisy Miller and Jacqueline Temple, both of Sandersville, Sadie Jones and Wyome Dixon, both of Atlanta, Jessie Miller of Dover, Del., Raymond Johnson of Tampa, Fla., and Arthur Temple of Honolulu; sister, Eulia Darrisaw of Wrightsville; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Jewell Watson

She was a customer service clerk at JC Penney. A member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and Sunshine Sunday School Class, she was a member of Exchangette Club.
Survivors include her husband, William Watson; children, Karen King, Robby Watson and Julie Cummings, all of Macon, and David Watson of Byron; sisters, Elloise McLean of Stuart, Fla., and Louise Courson of Tampa, Fla.; several grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

J.R. Wilson
ASHBURN - Services for J.R. Wilson will be at 3 p.m. today in Bethel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Wilson, 86, died Wednesday, Nov. 25, 1998. He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Wilson. He was a retired farmer. The widower of Bessie Wilson, he was a member and deacon of Bethel Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children, Geneva Baker of Georgetown, S.C., Faye Segler of Albany, Jimmy Wilson of Sycamore, Gene Wilson of Brunswick, Ray Wilson of Sycamore and Larry Wilson of LaGrange; brother and sisters, Chester Wilson and Zelma Pearce, both of Sycamore, Wilma Camp of Rosebud, Ore., and Patsy Childs of Atlanta; 19 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
