WARNER ROBINS - Services for Thomas Causey Collins will be at 2 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery, Eastman. Collins, 75, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, in a local nursing home. An Army veteran of World War II, he was the recipient of the Purple Heart and was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his niece, Dee Hencely of Warner Robins.

Christopher-Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Jack Combs
Services for Jack Thomas Combs will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Combs, 56, died Thursday, June 8, 2000. An Army veteran, he was owner of Combs Plumbing Co.

Survivors include his wife, Pat Combs; children James Combs of Culloden, Tony Combs of Albion, Calif., Mendy Hudson of Macon, Mysti Combs of Cocoa, Fla., and Kim Plumber of Lakeland, Fla.; sisters Beverly King of Deland, Fla., and Sheri Garlinger of Orlando, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home and may be contacted at 4022 Lindsey Drive.

A.D. Daniley
BARNESVILLE - Services for A.D. Daniley will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in Lamar Memory Gardens. Daniley, 76, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Daniley; children Ralph Johnson, Willie Flint and Vickey Thrash, all of Barnesville; sisters and brothers Susie Hicks of Roberta, Mattie Jordan and Roger Daniley, both of Forsyth, Eldora Hickman of Orchard Hill, Louise Jackson of Griffin and Otis Daniley of Cleveland, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bentley's & Sons Funeral Home in Barnesville has charge of arrangements.

Jacqueline Dawson
CORDELE - Services for Jacqueline Dawson will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in New Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Dawson, 42, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at her residence. She was a member of New Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children Requal S. Carter, Charles Windom Jr., Henry Dawson, Tosha Dawson, Lavara Polite and Travis McCloud; parents, Wynette Jordan of Cordele and Roosevelt Zanders Sr. of Fort Pierce, Fla.; sisters and brothers Beverlyn Lowe of Cordele, Cassandra Spivey and Sharon Taylor, both of St. Petersburg, Fla., Tasha Zanders of Fort Pierce, Roosevelt Zanders Jr. and Reginald Zanders, both of Americus, and Samuel Jordan of Oakland, Calif.; grandmother, Sallie Mae Childs of Vienna; and 13 grandchildren.

Bentley Carson Memorial Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Henry Decker Jr.
TENNILLE - Services for Henry John "Hank" Decker Jr. will be at 3 p.m. today in May & Smith Funeral Home with burial in Zeta Cemetery. Decker, 86, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was a retired music teacher who taught in New York, Pennsylvania and Georgia. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and the Georgia Retired Teachers Association.

Survivors include his wife, Rosalind J. Decker; children, Henry Decker III of Nashville, Ga., and Jeffery E. Decker of Kite; sister and brother, Doris Lindbloom of Corning, N.Y., and Kenneth Decker of Campbell, N.Y.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Evelyn Freeman
COCHRAN - Services for Evelyn Virginia Freeman will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Freeman, 74, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. She was retired from customer service at Little Creek Naval Base. She was a member of Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her children Frank Freeman of Cochran, Ricky Freeman of Virginia Beach, Va., and Wayne Freeman of Iowa; sisters and brothers Edna Brown and Betty Cartledge, both of Columbus, Nell Kinsey of Concord and Pete Lumpkin and H.N. Lumpkin Jr., both of Michigan; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 7 p.m. today in McCullough Funeral Home with visitation to follow until 9 p.m. Memorials may be made to Pierce Chapel United Methodist Church Building Fund.

Gregory J. Howard
ATLANTA - Services for Gregory J. Howard will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Welcome Baptist Church, Decatur. Howard, 42, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. He was a born in Macon and was a graduate of Southern Tech in Marietta. He worked for the IRS in Tucker. He was a member of Mount Welcome Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara R. Howard; mother, Eva L. Howard of Macon; father and stepmother, Cecil and Marian Howard of Atlanta; brothers and sisters Cecil Howard Jr. and Malcolm Howard, both of Macon, Dr. Anthony Howard of Swainsboro, Angela Fennelle of Rex and Gayla Howard of Riverdale; and grandparents Thelma Jackson and Mary Vickers, both of Macon.

Lady Jimerson
MIAMI - Services for Lady Beatrice Jimerson will be at noon Saturday in Williams Chapel Baptist Church with burial in William Chapel Mission Cemetery. Jimerson, 81, died Sunday, May 28, 2000. Daughter of the late Jim and Everlene Rozier, she was the widow of Dave Jimerson. She was a former member of Williams Chapel Baptist Church before moving to Detroit, where she joined Dexter Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include sister and brothers Odessa Berry, Willie James Rozier, William Norman Rozier and Eddie Rozier all of Miami, and Billy Rozier of Dublin; and aunt, Carrie Adams of Newark, N.J., a host of relatives and friends.

Dudley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Romauldize Lester
MONTEZUMA - Services for Romauldize LaShawn Lester will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Byromville, with burial in the church cemetery. Lester, 25, died Sunday, June 4, 2000. He was a 1993 graduate of Macon County High School and was a stock controller in the Lawn and Garden Department at Sears.

Survivors include his mother, Annie Lester of Montezuma; father, Michael Flanders of Montezuma; and sister and brother, Alana Lester and Kiara Lester, both of Montezuma.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today in Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel and may be contacted at 212 Ivy St.

Verdena Loyd
CORDELE - Services for Verdena Mae Bryant Loyd will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shady Grove CME Church with burial in Macedonia Cemetery. Loyd, 83, died Sunday, June 4, 2000.

Survivors include her children, Elizabeth Maddox, Gracie Laster, Mildred Mercer, Ruby Everett, Mattie Davis, all of Cordele, Frances Jackson of Ocala, Fla., Alice Lewis, Leola White, Catherine Grant, Lonnie Loyd and Nathaniel Loyd, all of Jacksonville, Fla., and Andrew Brooks of Orlando, Fla.; sisters and brothers, Vola Mae Walkes of Cordele, Hattie Welssinger and B.W. Bryant, both of Buffalo, N.Y., and John Bryant of Bradenton, Fla.; 54 grandchildren; and 66 great-grandchildren.

Velma Lytle
LUMBER CITY - Services for Velma McEachin Lytle will be at 4 p.m. today in Wainright-Parlor Funeral Home, Hazelhurst, with burial in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Lytle, 56, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Lytle; sister and brother, Linda Harrell and Gene McEachin, both of Hazlehurst; and two grandchildren.

Charles McDuffie
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Charles D. McDuffie will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Christopher-Smith Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. McDuffie, 67, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at his residence after a long illness. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Robins Air Force Base after 28 years. He was a member of the American Legion and Loyal Order of Moose and was a Master Mason and a Shriner.

Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Snay; children Jeffrey Snay and Mark Snay, both of Warner Robins; sisters and brother Nell Taylor of New Mexico, Katherine Wilkes of Ocilla, Theresa Bloom of Miami Shores, Fla., and Robert McDuffie of Warner Robins; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Houston County.

W.C. McKinley
PITTS - Services for W.C. "Cecil" McKinley will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Union Baptist Church with burial in Union Cemetery. McKinley, 82, died Thursday, June 8, 2000. A retired farmer, he was a member of Rochelle Masonic Lodge No. 190 F&AM and the Cordele Lions Club. He was a member of Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children Wayne McKinley of Pitts, Janice Dent of Sylvester and Sandra Coptsias of Plains; brothers and sister Harold McKinley of Houston, Texas , Gerald McKinley and Charles McKinley, both of Orange Park, Fla., John McKinley of Green Cove Springs, Fla., and Mary Fletcher of Kerrville, Texas ; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Frazier & Son Funeral Home, Rochelle, and may be contacted at the residence on Cleveland Avenue, Pitts.

Norman Mullis
COCHRAN - Services for Norman Wayne Mullis will be private. Mullis, 56, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, at his residence. Born in Bibb County, he was an emergency medical technician and former EMA director for Bleckley County. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was an umpire with the Houston County Umpire Association. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Renetta Mullis; children Jason Mullis and Julie Lanfair, both of Cochran; brother, Reginald Mullis of Cochran; and three grandchildren.

The family may be contacted at the Lanfair residence on Route 5, Bowers Cemetery Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Care Options, 151 College St., Macon 31201. Mathis Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
