PITTS - Memorial services for Charles Robert Rouse will be at 11 a.m. today in Vienna Church of God. He was a member of Vienna Church of God.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. Rouse; children Charles Phillip Rouse of Byron, Lynn Willis of Maison City, Ill., Marilyn Rouse of De Pue, Ill., and Christy Hogan of Fitzgerald; stepchildren Carol Nutt and Patsy Faircloth, both of Pitts, Debbie Vance of Tifton, Jimmie Lynn Harden of Rochelle, Dennis Gibbs of Cordele and Franklin Hatfield and John Hatfield, both of Falthmouth, Ind.; brother, Carol Rouse of Connersville, Ind.; 22 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle has charge of arrangements.

Otelia Salter
MILLEDGEVILLE - Services for Otelia Baisden Salter will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memory Hill Cemetery. Salter, 100, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, at her residence. Born in Milledgeville, she was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her children James M. Salter of Sacramento, Calif., and Mary Jane Deckard of Milledgeville; brother, Fred H. Baisden of Milledgeville; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Saturday in Moores Funeral Home.

Kate Sandifer
FITZGERALD - Services for Kate Hall Sandifer will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Antioch Baptist Church with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Sandifer, 107, died Monday, June 5, 2000. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Ennice Hall Jackson of Fitzgerald.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. today in Hall's Funeral Home.

Elaska Sigle
DUNCAN, Miss. - Services for Elaska Sigle will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Second Pleasant Valley M.B. Church with burial in the church cemetery. Sigle, 43, died Monday, June 5, 2000. He was a farmer.

Survivors include his daughter, Cassandra Buchanan of Renova, Miss.; mother, Mildred Sigle of Duncan; brothers and sisters James Scott and Florence Scott, both of Macon, Leroy Sigle and Louise S. Beasley, both of Duncan, Ethel Sigle of Shelby, Miss., and Evelyn Sigle of St. Louis; and grandmother, Mary Picken of Memphis, Tenn.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. today in Century Funeral Home.

Janie Starr
DUBLIN - Services for for Janie Starr will be 2 p.m. Friday in Mount Moriah Baptist Church with burial in Dudley Memorial Cemetery. Starr, 71, died Monday, June 5, 2000.

Survivors include husband, L.C. Fullwood; children Artis Coley and Dorothy Golden, both of Dublin, and Jannie Mae Starr and Lula Mae Samuels, both of Atlanta; sister, Lelia Mae Cross of Dublin; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Dudley Funeral Home.

Johnny Stembridge Jr.
FORT VALLEY - Services for Johnny B. Stembridge Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shiloh Baptist Church with burial in Willowlake Memory Gardens. Stembridge died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. He graduated from Fort Valley State University and was a supervisor, retired from Bibb Manufacturing Co.

Survivors include his wife, Ella T. Stembridge; children Neena Stembridge Roulhac and Sheela Houston, both of Atlanta, Per Deeta Stembridge of Fort Valley, and Johnny Stembridge III and Everett Stembridge, both of New York; sister and brothers Lillie Stern and Willie Hill, both of Fort Valley, and Elijah Hill and John Hill, both of Warner Robins; and seven grandchildren.

Jessie Mae Stephens
Services for Jessie Mae Stephens will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Unionville Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Stephens, 63, died Sunday, June 4, 2000. She was formerly employed at Cagle's.

Survivors include her companion, Joe Ross; stepchildren Marilyn MaHone, Ola J. Hughes and Deborah Moore, all of Macon; sisters and brothers Mary Russell of Sharon Hills, Pa., Drucilla Hollaway, Jacquelyn Garling, Charles Stephens, Bobby Stephens, Donald Stephens, Geraldine Jackson and Sandra Williams, all of Macon; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends 7 to 8 p.m. today in Bentley & Sons Funeral Home and may be contacted at 2305C Felton Ave., and 4420 Capital Ave.

Willie Tillman
Services for Willie Tillman will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Hicks and Sons Mortuary. Tillman, 56, died Saturday, June 3, 2000.

Survivors include brothers and sisters, Tommy Tillman and Mary T. Tanker, both of Decatur, Benny Tillman of Stone Mountain, Robert L. Tillman of Detroit and Emma L. Jackson of Auburn, Maine.

Illene Walker
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Illene J. Walker will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Assembly of God with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Walker, 54, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. She was a retired teacher, instructional coordinator and assistant principal. She attended First Assembly of God.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Walker; daughter, Jeri Lea Schofill of Warner Robins; mother, Eunice Johnson of Bay Minette, Ala.; sisters and brothers Louise Hughes of Foley, Ala., Rachel Merritt of Mobile, Ala., and Warren Johnson, Eddie Johnson, Susan Smith, Kelly Johnson and Shelly Stewart, all of Bay Minette.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in McCullough Funeral Home.

Willie Mae Watkins
Services for Willie Mae Watkins will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in New Friendship Baptist Church, Jones County, with burial in Salem AME Church Cemetery. Watkins, 95, died Tuesday, June 6, 2000, at her residence. She was born in Jones County, daughter of the late Henry and Carrie Blount. The widow of Mat Watkins, she was a homemaker. She was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children Daisy Watkins of Michigan, Dorothy Buckner of Riverdale and Charlie Watkins of Milledgeville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Martha Watson
AMERICUS - Services for Martha Watson will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Paulk Funeral Home, Fitzgerald, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Watson, 94, died Thursday, June 8, 2000, in a local hospital. She was a retired schoolteacher and curriculum director for the Fitzgerald public school system. She was former president of the Pilot Club, past member of Delta Kappa Gamma and former state first vice-president, and former member of the Georgia Education Association, National Education Association, Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development, Commission of Education and National Retired Teachers Association. She was a Sunday School teacher, circle leader and administrative board member at Central United Methodist Church in Fitzgerald.

Survivors include her sister, Margaret Watson Helton of Holly Hill, Fla.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Church.

T.J. Whitfield
OGLETHORPE - Services for T.J. Whitfield will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel with burial in Mount Carmel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Ideal. Whitfield, 79, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. He was a member of Mount Carmel Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Eva Lue Whitfield; children Essie Kate Frazier of Millville, N.J., Fannie Mae Ford, Thomas Whitfield, Jammie Whitfield, Wilma Jean Whitfield, Willie Mae Pierce, Linda Whitfield and Daisy Green, all of Bridgeton, N.J., Francis MWhitfield of Minneapolis, Susie Mae Kelson of South Carolina, Brenda Becker of Atlanta and Emmitt Whitfield of Atlantic City, N.J.; brother and sister, Willie James Whitfield of Columbus, Ohio, and Mattie Whitfield of Atlanta; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Paul Williams Sr.
DOUGLAS - Services for Paul Williams Sr. will be at 4 p.m. today in Ricketson Funeral Home with burial in the City Cemetery. Williams, 65, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000. He was body shop manager at Anderson Pontiac-Buick-Oldsmobile-GMC in Douglas. He was a member of College Avenue Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Williams; children Paul Williams Jr. and Debbie Williams, both of Douglas, and Lynn Prescott of Ambrose; brother, Jimmy Williams of Palatka, Fla.; two grandchildren; a great-grandchild; two stepgrandchildren; and three great-stepgrandchildren.

Mattie D. Ziegler
Services for Mattie D. Ziegler will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Mount Moriah Baptist Church with burial in Fort Hill Cemetery. Ziegler, 76, died Wednesday, June 7, 2000, in a local hospital. The widow of Willie L. Ziegler, she was retired from Middle Georgia Hospital and was a member of the Rosa Jackson Center Seniors Association. She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the VSW Choir and the Loyal Matrons Club.

Survivors include her daughters, Janice D. Ricks and L. Darnella Travet, both of Macon; and four grandchildren.

A.H. Bazemore
BUTLER - Services for A.H. Riley "Bill" Bazemore will be at 11 a.m. today in Antioch Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Bazemore, 84, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000. He was retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base. He was an antique clock and watch repairman. The widower of Sarah Bazemore, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Butler and Fickling Lodge No. 129 for over 50 years.
Survivors include his son, William Bazemore of Butler; sister, Christine McManus of Thomaston; a grandchild; and several great-grandchildren.

Edwards Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
