Florence Keys
Services for Florence W. Keys will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Keys, 92, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. The daughter of the late Amanda and J.C. Watson, she was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. She was the widow of James F. Keys Sr.

Survivors include her children, Joan Ellington, Harold Keys, Grover Keys and James Keys Jr., all of Macon, and Faye Peterson of Warner Robins; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Hart's Mortuary and may be contacted at 6415 Ponderosa Drive, Macon 31216.

James Lewis Sr.
Services for James Richard Lewis Sr. will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Jones Brothers Eastlawn Memorial Chapel with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Lewis, 68, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000. He was born in Gordon, son of the late James Calvin Lewis. Educated in Philadelphia public schools, he was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was retired from Institution Wholesalers Co. after over 25 years of service. He was a Jehovah's Witness.

Survivors include his wife, Annie Pearl Lewis; children, James Lewis Jr., Roger Lewis, Michael Lewis and Vivian Lewis, all of Macon; mother, Emma Anderson of Philadelphia; sisters and brother, Geraldine Aside and Theresa Lewis, both of Gordon, and Johnnie Lewis of Milledgeville; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Danny Anderson, Amos Anderson, Delois Anderson and Elaine Anderson, all of Philadelphia; and three grandchildren.

Cecil Livingston
FITZGERALD - Services for Cecil Livingston will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Paulk Funeral Home with burial in Salem Cemetery. Livingston, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. An Army veteran of World War II, he was a carpenter and owned and operated Livingston's Construction Co. He was a member of American Legion and DAV. He also was a member of Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Madelyn Livingston; brothers and sister, Herbert Livingston of Macon, J.T. Livingston of Merritt Island and Sudie Livingston of Ocilla.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Hubert Martin
HOOVER, Ala. - Services for Hubert B. Martin will be at 3:15 p.m. today in Orange Hill Cemetery, Hawkinsville. Martin, 95, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. He was vice president, retired from Miller Machinery and Supply Co. He held many lay leadership positions at Rader Memorial Methodist Church in Miami and was a member of St. Paul Methodist Church in Jacksonville, Fla. He was a 32nd degree Mason in the Solomon Lodge in Jacksonville, Fla., for 74 years, was a Shriner and member of Morocco Temple in Jacksonville for 54 years. He was a member of the Rotary Club in Miami and the widower of Sallie Martin.

Survivors include his son, Hubert Martin Jr. of Hoover; brother, R. Clary Martin of Savannah; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 2 p.m. today in Clark Funeral Home, Hawkinsville.

Clara Maye
TAMPA, Fla. - Services for Clara Mae Almond Maye will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery. Maye, 95, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. Born in Morgan County, she had lived in Macon before moving to Tampa. She was formerly employed at Davison in Macon. She was a former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and was a former member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. She was the widow of Albert Maye.

Survivors include her brother and sister, Henry A. Almond of Macon and Rubye P. Stevenson of Amelia Island, Fla.; grandchildren, Diane Gainforth and Julie Ann Floen, both of Tampa; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Macon.

James Miller Jr.
SANDERSVILLE - Services for James Eugene "Shoemaker" Miller Jr. will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in First Community Baptist Church with burial in Sandersville City Cemetery. Miller, 50, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2000, in an Augusta hospital. A maintenance worker, he was a member of First Community Baptist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Christine Miller of Sandersville; and sisters and brothers, Doris Wilcher, Janice Miller, Terry Miller and Elton Miller, all of Sandersville, Sharon Miller of Miami and Gary Miller of Jacksonville, Fla.

The family will receive friends at Amvet Post No. 110 in Sandersville on Saturday following services. M.C. Smith Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Freddie Mond Jr.
BUTLER - Services for Freddie Mond Jr. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Friendship Baptist Church with burial in West End Cemetery. Mond, 51, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2000.

Survivors include his mother, Ethel Mae Mond.

Lofton McDougald Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Camille Moore
Services for Camille S. Moore will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery. Moore, 81, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. A former member of Zonta Club of Macon, she was a member of First Baptist Church and the Faithful Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her niece and nephew, Ethel Hutcheson and William T. Spruce, both of Macon; sister-in-law, Thelma Spruce of Macon; four great-nieces and great-nephews; and friend, Florence Bartlett of Eatonton.

Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.

Elizabeth C. Nunn
PERRY - Services for Elizabeth Cannon Nunn will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church of Perry. Nunn, 96, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. She was the mother of Betty Nunn Mori and Sam Nunn.

Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

John Pippin
FORSYTH - Services for John Edwin Pippin will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Ebenezer United Methodist Church with burial in Forsyth City Cemetery. Pippin, 80, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. He was an Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War and was an aircraft mechanic, retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

Survivors include his son, James D. Pippin of Forsyth; brother, Joe Mike Pippin of Forsyth; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Monroe County Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1671 Dames Ferry Road, Forsyth 31029.

Eva B. Ross
BUTLER - Services for Eva B. Ross will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday in Friendship Baptist Church with burial in Bethel Cemetery. Ross, 85, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000. She was a homemaker and member of Friendship Baptist Church. She was the widow of Dennis Ross.

Survivors include her children, O.C. Ross of Hempstead, N.Y., Rose Beard and Erma Jean Ross, both of Jamaica, N.Y., Pauline Ogburn of Butler, Lizzie Ross of Fort Valley, Leroy Ross of Riverdale, Lillie Mae Jones of Dixie Hill, N.Y., Freddie Ross and Johnny Ross, both of Far Rockaway, N.Y.; sister, Clotee Myles of Butler; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

The body will be in the church at 2:30 p.m. The family may be contacted at the residence on Rockmore Road, Butler. Bentley Funeral Home in Reynolds has charge of arrangements.

Willie C. Sears
COCHRAN - Services for Willie C. Sears will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Springfield Baptist Church, Chester, with burial in Thankful Church Cemetery.

Sears, 65, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.

He was retired from J.M. Huber.

He was a member and deacon of Springfield Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma M. Sears; children, Alma Henley of Chester, Vencenteena Brown of Dexter and James T. Hall of Columbia, S.C.; brothers, Roy Sears, Troy Sears, Harvey Sears, J.C. Sears and Clarence Sears, all of Miami; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

The body will be in the church at 1 p.m.

Dorothy Staples
Services for Dorothy E. Staples will be at 11 a.m. today in Crest Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Staples, 77, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000, in a local nursing home.

She was a homemaker and member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Staples; son, Donnie Staples of Macon; mother, Minnie Wade of Macon; brother and sisters, Lamar Wade of South Carolina, Margaret Edwards of Jakin and Elizabeth Piland of Phenix City, Ala.; a grandchild.

The family may be contacted at the residence near Wilson Airport, Lot 662.

Tommie Thomas
KENNESAW - Services for Tommie Nell Thomas will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Macon Memorial Park.

Thomas, 78, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000.

She was a homemaker and member of Riverside United Methodist Church.

She was the widow of U.A. Thomas.

Survivors include her children, Merrilee Hogan of Kennesaw, Tom Baird, Bo Baird, both of Macon, and Jim Baird of Comer; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street.

Memorials may be made to Riverside United Methodist Church, 735 Pierce Ave., Macon 31204.
