BONAIRE - Services for Kimberlyn Marie Faulk will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Sandy Valley Baptist Church with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Faulk, 18, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, in a local hospital. A 2000 graduate of Houston County High School, she was a member of Acteens, World Changers, the choir and youth group at Sandy Valley Baptist Church.

Survivors include her father, Randy Faulk of Bonaire; mother, Sandy Faulk of Bonaire; brother, Sean Faulk of Bonaire; grandmother, Sandra Crosby of Hampton, S.C.; grandmother and stepgrandfather, Nora and Fulu Paaga of Charleston, S.C.; and great-grandmother, Virginia Jones of North Charleston, S.C.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in McCullough Funeral Home, Warner Robins.

Woodrow Floyd
COCHRAN - Services for Woodrow W. Floyd will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Union Hill Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Floyd, 81, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. Son of the late Archie and Juliette Floyd, he was retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children Danny Floyd, Montine Rollins and Linda Dixon, all of Cochran, and Marie Floyd of Salida, Colo.; sister, Ruby Barlow of Cochran; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Mathis Funeral Home and may be contacted at the Floyd residence on Route 2. The body will be in the church at 2 p.m.

Rosa Hester
BRUNSWICK - Services for Rosa Dudley Hester will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Hester, 65, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000. Born in Laurens County, she was a private duty nurse's aide. She attended United Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include her children Sharon West and Nan Hester, both of Brunswick, Larry Hester of Milner, Billy Hester of Milledgeville, Tony Hester of Ivey and Tim Hester of Indianapolis; sisters and brothers, Nellie Daniel of Dublin, Martha Lamb of Kite, Tommy Dudley of Macon, James Dudley of Adrian, Jimmy Dudley of Ivey and Donald Dudley of Lookeba, Okla.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Jack Hooks
WRIGHTSVILLE - Services for Jack Hooks were Thursday in New Home Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Hooks, 71, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. He was a pipefitter, retired from Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 150. He was a member of the Scottish Rite in Macon, was a 32nd degree Mason and was a member of Anderson Lodge No. 243.

Survivors include his wife, Willette R. Hooks; children Jackie Marlow of Lewisville, N.C., David Hooks of Jackson, S.C., Steven Hooks of Rincon and Vaughn Hooks of Evans; sister, Betty Upton of Morrow; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Stanley Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Dr. Joe Tom Jeffries
McRAE - Services for Dr. Joe Tom Jeffries will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Lowe's Funeral Home, Helena, with burial in Rockwell Baptist Church Cemetery, Telfair County. Jeffries, 62, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. He was born in Telfair County, son of the late Tom Daniel and Jessie Johnson Jeffries. He graduated from McRae-Helena High School and received his bachelor's degree from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. He was a 1963 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and was a veterinarian for the past 37 years. He was a member of the Veterinary Medical Association and Heart of Georgia Saddle Club. He was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He served on the Telfair County Board of Education for eight years.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Sue Wilkes Jeffries; children Mary Jo Best of Carrollton, Deborah Strom of Valdosta, Amy Sue Padgett of Milan and Tom Daniel Jeffries II of McRae; sister, Doris Knowles of Milan; and a grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence on Route 2, McRae.

E.E. Mancil
AMBROSE - Services for E.E. Mancil will be at 2 p.m. today in Ricketson Funeral Home, Douglas, with burial in Salem Cemetery. Mancil, 90, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. A farmer, he was a member of Wray Holinesss Baptist Church.

Survivors include his son, Jimmy Mancil Sr. of Douglas; stepchildren Aaron Varnedore of Flat Rock, Ala., and Wilma Thomas of Rock Hill, S.C.; two grandchildren; and 11 stepgrandchildren.

Carrie Minter
MEANSVILLE - Services for Carrie Lee Minter will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Beulah Baptist Church with burial in Beulah Baptist Cemetery. Minter, 94, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. She was retired from the bleachery division of Thomaston Mills, where she worked as a seamstress for 40 years.

Survivors include her children Edward Minter of Meansville, Melvin Minter of Thomaston, Leon Minter of Meridian, Miss., and Virginia Anthony of Yatesville; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Coggins Funeral Home, Thomaston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

Elizabeth Nunn
PERRY - Services for Elizabeth Cannon Nunn will be at 4 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Nunn, 96, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. Born Oct. 25, 1903, daughter of the late Joseph Warren Cannon and Harriet Vinson Cannon, she was raised in Cordele. She was a graduate of Georgia State College for Women (now Georgia College & State University) and Wesleyan College. She received her A.B. degree and teacher's certificate from Wesleyan in 1926. Early in her career, she taught school in Canton and later became a member of the Cordele faculty at the O'Neal School. She married Samuel A. Nunn in 1935 and was a resident of Perry for more than 60 years. She had been a resident of the Mann House and Budd Terrace in Atlanta since 1996. She and her late husband were active leaders in many facets of community life in Perry and Houston County. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church, the Susannah Wesley Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, Sorosis Club (a women's service organization), Wesleyan Alumnae Club and a Perry book club. She was a founder of the Girl Scouts organization in Houston County and served as a troop leader for the Brownies and Girl Scouts for many years. She enjoyed attending church, traveling, playing bridge and visiting with her family.

Survivors include children and their spouses, Jean and Betty Mori and Sam and Colleen Nunn, all of Atlanta; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mori Lauer, John Samuel Mori, George Nunn Mori, Mary Michelle Nunn and Samuel Brian Nunn; great-grandchildren, Katherine Lauer and Elizabeth Mori; and nephews and nieces, Dr. Henry Jennings, Dr. Robert M. Jennings, Joe Cannon Jennings, Nancy Cannon Boyles, Carol Cannon Humes and Kay Cannon McWilliams.

Memorial contributions may be made to Perry United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 73, Perry 31069, or Elizabeth Cannon Nunn Scholarship Fund at Wesleyan College, 4760 Forsyth Road, Macon 31210-4462. Visitation will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry

Joe Morris Sr.
VIENNA - Services for Joe Cecil Morris Sr. will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Bowen-NeSmith Funeral Home, Vienna, with burial in Pinehurst City Cemetery. Morris, 68, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. An Army veteran, he was retired from Robins Air Force Base as a sheet metal mechanic. He was a member of Northside Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Christine Morris; children Joe Morris Jr. of Leslie, George Morris of Byron and Debbie Elmore of Vienna; sisters Ruby Wilson of Butler and Mary Gilchrist of Albany; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to United Hospice, 208 E. Fourth Ave., Cordele 31015.

William Mosely
BYRON - Services for William Hall Mosely will be at 3 p.m. today in Lizella Baptist Church Cemetery. Mosely, 55, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. Son of the late Lester G. Mosely, he was a truck driver for Watson Motor Freight of Byron.

Survivors include his mother, Lois M. Mosely of Lizella; and sister, Ruth Harper of LaGrange.

Hart's Mortuary in Macon has charge of arrangements.

Bernice O'Neal
THOMASTON - Services for Bernice Smith O'Neal will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Silvertown Baptist Church with burial in Crystal Hill Cemetery. O'Neal, 85, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. She was a Tupperware dealer and salesperson in Upson County for 15 years. She was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and AARP.

Survivors include her children Myrna Zimmerman of Dacula, Sylvia Richardson of Macon and Edwin O'Neal of Alpharetta; sisters and brothers Linda Dickerson, Janette Bedford and Mitchell Smith, all of Thomaston, Lucille Kinsler of Dahlonega and Chester Smith of Troy, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Silvertown Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.

Shakena Pettiford
FITZGERALD - Services for Shakena M. Pettiford will be at 3 p.m. today in Salem Baptist Church with burial in Westwood Cemetery. Pettiford, 17, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000, in a local hospital.

Survivors include her mother, Cathy Jones of Fitzgerald; father, Raymond Pettiford of Fitzgerald; and sisters Lasha Jones and Morkeisha Jones of Fitzgerald.

The family will receive friends from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. today in Hall's Funeral Home.

Mary Phillips
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Mary C. Phillips will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Phillips, 61, died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000. She was co-owner of Phillips Welding and Iron Shop. She was a member of Maranatha Church of God and was a licensed evangelist, working for a prayer ministry for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Ott J. Phillips; children Debbie Williamson, Donna Durden and Regenia Laidler, all of Warner Robins; sister, Jackie Holton of Macon; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Jack Sears
Services for Jack Sears will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Hart's Mortuary with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Sears, 71, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. An Army veteran of the Korean War, he was retired from Armstrong World Industries after 39 years. He was a member of Marshall A. Weir Masonic Lodge No. 448.

Survivors include his wife, Frances Sears; daughter, Ginger S. Davis of Gray; sisters, Gladys Etheridge of Albany and Annette Beall of Dublin; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Hart's Mortuary.
