Kenneth Kinchen
MILAN - Services for Kenneth E. Kinchen will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Greenlawn Baptist Church, Eastman, with burial in Antioch No. 2 Cemetery. Kinchen, 64, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Dodge County, son of the late Larry and Beulah Mae Kinchen. He was a retired plumber and member of Greenlawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kinchen; children Margie Bridgers of Cochran, Sherry Yawn of Rhine, Cathy Neumans of Dexter and Tammy Allen of Milan; sister and brother, Mary Ann Cobb of Lilburn and Joe Charles Kinchen of Milan; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home, Eastman, and may be contacted at the residence, Antioch Church Road, Milan. The body will be in the church at 1 p.m.

Ruth May
KATHLEEN - Services for Ruth May will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Christ's Sanctified Holy Church, Perry, with burial in the church cemetery. May, 76, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, in a Perry Hospital. She was born in Terry, Miss., and had lived in Houston County over five years, moving from Fayetteville, Tenn. She was a bookkeeper, retired from Robuck Builders. She was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church.

Survivors include her sister and brother, Mildred Cox and W. Otho Cox, both of Perry.

The family will receive friends at 7 p.m. today in the church. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry has charge of arrangements.

Lillie McArthur
UVALDA - Services for Lillie Pearl McArthur were Saturday in Shiloh Baptist Church. Burial was in Old Salem Cemetery. McArthur, 64, died Thursday, May 25, 2000. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Robert McArthur; children Tony McArthur and Gail McArthur, both of Mount Vernon, Tracie Brown of Valdosta and Jackie Smiley of Baxley; brothers and sisters the Rev. Lemac Pool, Christine McLain and Lorine Jackson, all of Vidalia, and John Thomas of Lizella; and four grandchildren.

Smalley-Brown Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

Margaret Palmer
DUBLIN - Services for Margaret W. Palmer will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashville, Tenn. Palmer, 85, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, in a local hospital after a long illness. A former Alamo resident, she was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband, Charles D. Palmer; daughter, Jane Futral of Alamo; sister, Ethel Johnson of California; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Ronnie L. Stewart Family Funeral Service in Glenwood has charge of arrangements.

Blanche Perkins
MARSHALLVILLE - Services for Blanche Rice Perkins will be at 2 p.m. Monday in St. James CME Church with burial in Colonel Felton Cemetery. Perkins, 82, died Thursday, June 1, 2000. The widow of Cliff B. Perkins, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. James CME Church for 74 years.

Survivors include her daughter, Laura Mae McKenzie; sister, Mattie C. Rutledge of Washington , D.C.; and grandchildren John McKenzie, Aaron McKenzie and Eryn McKenzie, all of New Jersey.

Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Thomas D. Smith
Services for Thomas Doyle Smith will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Smith, 81, died Friday, June 2, 2000, in a local hospital. He was born in Emanuel County, son of the late Doyle Allan and Eula Wynn Smith. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion and Marine Veterans of World War II Association. He was a steamfitter, was president of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local No. 472 and was instrumental in the founding of the Health and Welfare Fund. He was retired from Hayes Heating and Plumbing. He was a member of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Yates Smith; children, Patricia Louise Hood of Charlotte, N.C., and Nancy Tommette Liles of Byron; grandchildren, Charles Hood, Steven Hood and Jonathan Hood, all of Charlotte, Tommette Cuebas of Warner Robins, Sherri Pipkin of Byron, Louisa Vaughn of Fort Valley and Donna Nikirk of Macon; and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today in the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence. Memorials may be made to Cherokee Heights Baptist Church, 2656 Napier Ave., Macon 31201.

Joseph Stanley Sr.
Services for Joseph Stanley Sr. will be at noon Tuesday in True Faith Church of God in Christ with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Stanley, 55, died Thursday, June 1, 2000. He was born in Bibb County, son of the late Lee Stanley. He was a Navy veteran and was a cabinet builder at Macon Cabinet.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Stanley; children Joseph Stanley Jr. of Florida, Allen Stanley, Kimberly Stanley and Damany Stanley, all of Macon, and Shonda Staley of Cincinnati; mother, Celia H. Stanley; sister and brother, Louise Stanley and Charles Simmons of Cincinnati; and 11 grandchildren.

The family may be contacted at 3474 McKenzie Drive. Bentley & Sons Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Edgar Wiggins
SWAINSBORO - Services for Edgar Wiggins will be at 3 p.m. today in Tomlinson Funeral Home with burial in Swainsboro City Cemetery. Wiggins, 88, died Thursday, June 1, 2000. He was retired from Elroy Turpentine Co. and David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore. He was a member of Union Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include his children, Solomon E. Wiggins of Swainsboro and the Rev. Joseph W. Wiggins of Reidsville; brother, Sam Wiggins of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Agnes Wilder
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Agnes Wilder will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in McCullough Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Wilder, 79, died Friday, June 2, 2000. She was born in Milledgeville, daughter of the late Ruben and Coy S. Patterson. She was a member of Shirley Hills Baptist Church. She was the widow of H.B. Scotty Wilder.

Survivors include her children Barbara Gaddy and Henry B. Wilder, both of Warner Robins, H.B. Wilder Jr. of Great Falls, Mont., and Rick Wilder of Gainesville, Fla.; brother, Eugene Patterson of Milledgeville; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Richard Atkins
ALBANY - Services for Richard Atkins will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunnyside Cemetery. Atkins, 53, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. He was a retired mechanic.
Survivors include his children Lisa Atkins, Scott Atkins and Kim Shofner, all of Cordele, and Richard Atkins of Vienna; brothers and sister Gordon Atkins and Henry Atkins, both of Cordele, John Atkins of Albany and Kathleen Britt of Hazlehurst; half-brother, Charles Hatcher of Lake City, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Dekle Funeral Home in Cordele has charge of arrangements.

James M. Brown
EAST DUBLIN - Services for James M. Brown will be at 3 p.m. today in Bethlehem Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Brown, 71, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Johnson County, son of the late Garnett Pat and Lula Wilkinson Brown. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was the retired owner and operator of a pawn shop. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred B. Brown; children David Brown of Rochelle, Ray Brown and Peggy Thomas, both of Dublin, and Lesia B. Hogan and Linda Waites, both of Dexter; sister and brothers Betty Spivey, Bobby Brown, Billy Brown and Curtis Brown, all of Dublin; 16 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Adams Funeral Home in Dublin has charge of arrangements.

Fannie Burrow
Services for Fannie Johnson Burrow will be at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Luke Baptist Church with burial in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Burrow, 84, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000. She was born in Bibb County, daughter of the late Johnnie Bell Rogers and J.B. Johnson. She attended Burdell School and a boarding school in Roycastle, Va. The widow of Willie Burrow, she was a presser at several different laundries and dry cleaners.

Survivors include her daughter, Charlyne Burrow Pitts of Macon; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Penny Campbell
FORT VALLEY - Services for Penny Darlene Campbell will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Campbell, 35, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include her fiance, Milton Passmore; son, Joey Campbell of Fort Valley; father and stepmother, Ray and Rhianna Campbell of Byron; mother and stepfather, Faye and David Lane of Fort Valley; brother, Shannon Campbell of Byron; and grandmother, Grace Posey of Reynolds.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Rooks Funeral Home, Fort Valley.

Margaret Cannon
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Margaret B. Cannon will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens. Cannon, 84, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000. Born in Laurens County, she was retired from employment with the Houston County Board of Education. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and New Beginnings Sunday School Class.

Survivors include her children Miles Wayne Cannon of Mount Laurel, N.J., and Miriam Faith of Warner Robins; sister, Doris Pfiefer of Roselyn Heights, N.J.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of Houston County.
