Gary Waters
MONTEZUMA - Services for Gary Waters will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Second Salem Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Waters, 44, died Sunday, June 11, 2000, in a local hospital.

Survivors include his daughter LaKessa Haugabook of Montezuma; mother, Octavia Waters of Montezuma; sisters and brothers Ophelia Waters of Montezuma, Margurita Harris and Phyllistine Gardner, both of Smyrna, Willie Greer of Philadelphia and Charlie Waters of Atlanta and a grandchild.

The body will be in the church at noon. Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Acie Wilmore Jr.
DRY BRANCH - Services for Acie "Big Onion" Wilmore Jr. will be 1 p.m. Saturday in New Hope Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Wilmore, 66, died Saturday, June 10, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in Twiggs County, he was the son of the late Acie Wilmore Sr. He was a member and treasurer of the Mutual Endowment Society, and a member and deacon of Greater New Hope Baptist Church, where served on the finance committee. He was retired from J.M. Huber Corp.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Wilmore; children, April W. Harris of Dry Branch, Acie Wilmore III, Kent Wilmore, Ricky Wilmore, Frankie Sanders, Mary Stephens and Shirley Bond, all of Macon, Calvin Williams and Horace Williams, both of Boston; mother and stepfather, Fannie Curry and Jim Curry Sr., both of Dry Branch; sisters, Rose Wilmore, Mary Jane Wilmore, Willie Wilmore, Dorothy Wilmore and Dale Wilmore, all of Cincinnati, Rose Johnson of New Jersey, Fannie Dean of Oak Harbor, Washington , Jimmie L. Williams, Sallie Wimberly and Annie L. Blackshear, all of Dry Branch, and Ada Ellington of Macon; brothers, Lee Wilmore, Phillip Wilmore and Larry Wilmore, all of Cincinnati, Eugene Curry of New Jersey, Turner Curry, John Curry, Joshua Curry, Roosevelt Curry, Michael Curry and Lazurus Curry, all of Dry Branch, and the Rev. Jim Curry Jr. of Macon.

The body will be at Bentley and Sons Funeral Home, Macon, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today, and at Bentley and Sons Funeral Home in Jeffersonville from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday. The body will be in the church one hour prior to services. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home in Macon has charge of arrangements.

Roy Woodson
NEW YORK - Services for Roy Woodson will be at 3 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church in Byron with burial in Byron Cemetery. Woodson died Saturday, June 10, 2000.

Survivors include his mother, Annie R. Woodson of Byron; and sisters and brothers Helen Woodson, Mary Lowe, J.W. Woodson, Johnny Woodson, Dock Woodson and Tommy Woodson, all of Byron.

C.J. Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Valley has charge of arrangements.

Steven Banks
FORT VALLEY - Services for Steven De'Shone Banks will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Friendship Baptist Church with burial in Willowlake Memorial Garden. Banks, 24, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2000. He attended Warm Springs School of Arts. He was a medalist winner at the 10th Annual Special Olympics in Atlanta and was a standout in baseball with Kay School Special Olympics. He attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Survivors include his parents, Patricia Banks and Steven Huntley of Fort Valley; sisters, Shemone Banks and Wykesia Banks of Fort Valley; and grandparents, Dud Banks Jr., Tinnie Banks and Cora Huntley, all of Fort Valley.

Eula Brady
FORT VALLEY - Services for Eula Mae Brady will be at 2 p.m. Friday in C.J. Edwards Funeral Home with burial in Willowlake Memorial Garden. Brady died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000. She was born in Peach County, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Smithson. She was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.

Survivors include her sister, Sarah Robinson of Byron.

Clarence Brown Jr.
SWAINSBORO - Services for Clarence A. Brown Jr. will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Hendley, Rountree and Powell Funeral Home with burial in Wimberley Cemetery, Twin City. Brown, 55, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. He was born in Emanuel County, son of the late Clarence and Bertie Lee Wimberley Brown Sr.

Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Jean Chavis, Janice Mosley, Franklin Brown and Tommy K. Brown, all of Swainsboro, and Donny Brown of Midville.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Charles Buckman
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Charles E. Buckman will be at 10 a.m. Friday in McCullough Funeral Home with burial in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Buckman, 67, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a field service engineer, retired from Chadwick-Helmuth Co. and was a former aero club manager for Single Engine Instrument Airplanes.

Survivors include his wife, Margaret Buckman; children David Buckman and Kathy Peterson, both of Warner Robins; brothers and sister Donald Buckman of Owensboro, Ky., Jim Buckman of Lawrenceville, Larry Buckman of Henderson, Ky., and Margaret Nelly of Owensboro; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Houston County, 2066 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins 31093.

John Campbell
FITZGERALD - Services for John Joseph Campbell will be at 4:30 p.m. today in Westwood Cemetery. Campbell died Sunday, Aug. 6, 2000.

Survivors include his friends Betsy Bell of Garner, N.C., Vincent and Montrivell Bell of Westbury, N.Y., and Margarette McClurkin of Central Islip, N.Y.

Hall's Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Alma S. Daniel
MONROE, N.C. - Memorial services for Alma S. Daniel will be Sunday in Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Forsyth, following church services. Daniel, 93, died Sunday, July 30, 2000. She was the daughter of the late James and Pearl Stewart. She attended Tift College and taught school in Forsyth. She was the widow of Wesley B. Daniel.

Survivors include her children, Stewart Daniel, Tom Daniel and Wayne Daniel; sister and brother, Mildred Childs and Leonard Stewart; grandchildren, Tommy Daniel, Sabrena Kauffmann, Jeff Daniel, Clay Daniel, Denise Daniel Hardman, John Daniel, DeeDee Daniel and Alicia Daniel; and two great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Carolina Funeral and Cremation Services in Charlotte, N.C., has charge of arrangements.

Willie Daniels
OGLETHORPE - Services for Willie J. Daniels will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Felton Chapel Church with burial in Turner Chapel Cemetery, Reynolds. Daniels, 45, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. He was formerly employed at Mulcoa of Andersonville.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara Daniels; children, Kimberley Daniels of Montezuma, Eric Daniels of Athens, and Shaqindor Hillmon and Tijuan Hillmon; parents, J.D. and Fannie Daniels of Oglethorpe; brothers and sisters, O.C. Daniels of Reynolds, Larry Daniels and Jimmy Daniels of Oglethorpe, Emma Rumph of Fort Valley, Linda Smith of Riverdale and Dangle Colbert of Montezuma; and grandfather, M.C. Daniels of Butler.

Oglethorpe Funeral Chapel has charge of arrangements.

Nicholas Dykes
COCHRAN - Services for Nicholas Trent Dykes, infant son of Trent and Carminta Dykes of Cochran, will be at 3 p.m. Friday in Bowers Cemetery, Dodge County. Nicholas died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his brother and sister, Trey Dykes and Kayla Dykes, both of Cochran; grandparents, Johnny and Kathy Howell of Cochran, and Garvin and Faye Dykes of Maynardville, Tenn.; and great-grandmother, Mrs. James Dunn of Cochran.

Mathis Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Susie Etheridge
TOOMSBORO - Services for Susie Kathleen Etheridge will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Ebenezer Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Etheridge, 85, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2000. She was a lifelong resident of Wilkinson County, daughter of the late Tom and Eula Minter. She was a homemaker and member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Adult Sunday School Class. She was the widow of Fluker M. Etheridge.

Survivors include her children, Lillie Mae Russell of Dublin, the Rev. James Etheridge of Jones County, Carlton Etheridge of Gordon and Wayne Etheridge of Toomsboro; sister and brothers, Mary Cauley and Andrew Minter, both of Augusta, Joseph Minter of Douglas, Eugene Minter of Valdosta and John Minter of Macon; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in Bridges Funeral Home, Gray, and may be contacted at 119 Avalon Road, Macon 31217. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, Route 1, Toomsboro 31090. The body will be in the church at 1 p.m. Friday.

Donny Evans
LAKE SINCLAIR - Services for Donny W. Evans will be at 2 p.m. today in Crest Lawn Funeral Home, Macon, with burial in Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Gray. Evans, 51, died Monday, Aug. 7, 2000. He was owner and operator of Evans Paint Contractors. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Trenia Evans; children, Tonya Evans, Ronald Bell Jr., Lisa Barnes, Leslie Bell, Todd Bell, Kristie Barnes, Jonathan Wimberly and Jessica Pippin, all of Macon; mother, Lena Mae Bowen Evans of Macon; brothers, Larry Evans of South Lake, Texas , and Richard Evans of Brunswick; and 11 grandchildren.

Jessie Griffin
TIFTON - Services for Jessie Griffin will be at 6 p.m. today in Paulk Funeral Home, Ocilla, with burial in Swilley Cemetery. Griffin, 63, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2000. A Baptist, he worked at J.P. Stevens for more than 25 years.

Survivors include his brother and sisters Leonard Griffin of Ocilla, Edith Fletcher of Sparks, Vermont Fletcher of New Orleans, Burnell Boyd of Tifton, Mae W. Brooks of Fitzgerald, Wynette Booth of Citronella, Ala., and Burnett Voge of Phoenix, Ariz.
