HARLEM - Services for Clotheile Bennett will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Hillcrest Cemetery, Sylvester. Bennett, 72, died Monday, May 8, 2000. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

Survivors include her children Samuel Bennett of Guyton, David Bennett of Harlem and Judy Braswell of Canton; brother and sisters Shirley Kennedy of Byron, Ellma Giddens of Tifton and Georgie Mae Quaglietta of Albany; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. today in Frazier and Son Funeral Home, Rochelle.

Leonard Brock

REBECCA - Services for Leonard Brock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in M.G. Frazier Memorial Chapel with burial in New Bethel Cemetery, Pitts. Brock, 74, died Monday, May 8, 2000. He was a heavy machine operator and a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Brock; children, R.V. Brock and Karen Brock, both of Albany, Connie Brock of Thomasville, Julia Cummings of Rebecca, Rita McGarrah of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; brother and sisters, Horace Brock of Leesburg, Mildred Parrish of Plant City, Fla., Lillian Smith and Lenora Hudson, both of Pelham; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home and may be contacted at 226 Kennedy Road, Rebecca. Frazier and Son Funeral Home, Rochelle, has charge of arrangements.

W.R. Browning Jr.

GLENWOOD - Services for W.R. Browning Jr. will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in First Baptist Church of Glenwood with burial in Glenwood City Cemetery. Browning, 79, died Monday, May 8, 2000, in a Dublin hospital after a brief illness. He was a retired timber producer. He was a member of Glenwood Masonic Lodge and Woodman of the World. He was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Glenwood.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Browning; children Joni Towns of Glenwood and Jean Williams of Waynesboro; sister, Gwendolyn Cox of Alamo; and six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Ronnie L. Stewart & Son Funeral Service, Glenwood. The body will be in the church at 2 p.m.

Nichelle Butler

WRIGHTSVILLE - Services for Nichelle Butler will be at 3 p.m. today in Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Butler, 20, died Thursday, May 4, 2000. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Dougkevis Butler, Micheal Butler, and Ricktavious Butler; father, Tommy Horne; sisters and brothers, Felicia Jackson and Shawn Jackson, both of Dublin, Katina Horne, Johnny Butler, Douglas Butler, Tyrone Butler, Tony Horne, Calvin Horne and Tommy Davis, all of Wrightsville; and grandparent, Wesley Mae Horne of Wrightsville.

The family may be contacted at the residence on Route 1, Wrightsville. Dudley Funeral Home, Dublin, has charge of arrangements.

Robert Carter

Services for Robert W. "Bob" Carter will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church with burial in Macon Memorial Park. Carter, 62, died Monday, May 8, 2000. An Army veteran, he was retired from Robins Air Force Base and worked at Tattnall Square Academy. He coached Macon Little League and was an organizer of North Macon Little League Association. He was a member of Wesleyan Drive Baptist Church and Fellowship Men's Sunday School Class.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Carter; children Wanda Morrison of Lizella and Sucee Daniel of Macon; stepson Billy Daniell of Tybee Island; sister and brothers Donna Bone of Commerce, Carl Carter of Macon and Calvin Carter of Midway; two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Memorials may be made to Association for Retarded Citizens, 4664 Sheraton Drive, Macon 31210 or Windsor Academy, 4150 Jones Road, Macon 31206.

Ethel Harris

Services for Ethel Q. Harris will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Crest Lawn Funeral Home with burial at 3 p.m. in Satille Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Harris, 91, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. She was a spinner, retired from Bibb Mills. She was a member of White Oak Freewill Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Sharon Chapman of Macon; sister Alma Trobaugh of Macon; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home and will be at 780 Orange Terrace.

Mae Holston

Services for Mae B. Holston will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bethesda Baptist Church with burial in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Holston, 88, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. She was a homemaker and member of Bethesda Baptist Church. She was the widow of Harper Holston Sr.

Survivors include her children Sandra Barry, Lewis Holston and H. Alec Holston Jr., all of Macon, and Betty Smraker of Birmingham, Ala.; sister Kate Rivers of Jackson; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, and will be at 4430 Jones Road, Macon 31216.

Thomas Hooper

Services for Thomas Bertron Hooper will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Holsey Temple CME Church with burial in Middle Georgia Memory Gardens. Hooper, 90, died Saturday, May 6, 2000. He was a claims adjuster, retired from Atlanta Life Insurance Co. A community and political activist, he was a member of the Morehouse College Alumni Chapter, Homosophian Civic Club and national and local democratic parties. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hooper.

Survivors include his daughter Martha Wilkins Hooper.

Family will be at 1970 Vining Circle. Hutchings Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Inez Hopper

SOUTH PITTSBURGH, Tenn. - Services for Inez A. Hopper will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. Hopper, 88, died Monday, May 8, 2000. She was a former steno/clerk with Atlantic Coastline/CSX Railroad. She was a member of First Baptist Church and was formerly of First Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, where she was organist, pianist and choir director. She was a Georgia PTA lifetime member, member of Twin City Garden Club and former member of Fitzgerald Woman's Club.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Hopper; daughter Eva Cate of South Pittsburgh; stepdaughter, Linda Kaczmarczyk of Virginia Beach, Va.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald has charge of arrangements.

Doris Hurt

MILLEDGEVILLE - Services for Doris Mae Gadson Hurt were Monday in New Covenant Seventh-day Adventist Church. Burial was in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Hurt died Wednesday, May 3, 2000. She worked at Savannah/Chatham County Board of Education and the Big "M" Restaurant. She was a member of New Covenant Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Hurt Sr.; children Velkeyta Gadson, Danny Hurt Jr. and Tidra Hurt, all of Thunderbolt; sisters and brothers Allie McGirt, Shirley Benemon, Anthony Gadson, Freddie Gadson, German Gadson, Irene Hines and Carolyn Gadson, all of Savannah, Delores Randall of Norfolk, Va., John Gadson of Atlanta.

Peoples Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

H. Braxton Johnson

DOUGLAS - Services for H. Braxton Johnson will be at 3 p.m. today in Satilla Memorial Gardens. Johnson, 72, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. He was a carpenter and Army veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Oneida Johnson; children Lee Johnson of Baxley and Kathy Fletcher of West Green; brother and sister Johnny Johnson and Dorothy O'Steen, both of Douglas; and four grandchildren.

Oscar Kiser

WARNER ROBINS - Services for retired Col. Oscar Julius Kiser will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Cornerstone Baptist Church with burial in Andersonville National Cemetery. Kiser, 78, died Monday, May 8, 2000, in a local hospital. Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Virgil Lee and Etta Kiser. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He received the Bronze Star, Air Force Meritorious Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaves and 24 other awards and decorations. He earned his law degree as well as his English degree, which he used as a teacher in Vietnam at the University of Saigon. He was fluent in four languages. He was Houston County coroner for two years and was an ordained Baptist minister. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Kathleen.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Marie Kiser; children Perry Lee Kiser of Perry, Wanda Williamson of Eufaula, Ala., Sandi Carnot of Valrico, Fla., and Donna Groberg of Perry; twin brother, Arthur Kiser of Warner Robins; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in McCullough Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, Md. 20014.

Richard Lombardo

WARNER ROBINS - Services for Richard "Rick" J. Lombardo will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Parkway Memorial Gardens with military honors. Lombardo, 59, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. He was retired from the Air Force as a senior master sergeant and was a military police superintendent in Vietnam. He received the Meritorious Service Medal. He was a security specialist at Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, American Legion and Robins Air Force Base Officers Club.

Survivors include his wife, Sharry Lombardo; children Anthony Lombardo of Birmingham, Ala., Karen Lombardo of Kathleen and Kelly Curry of Warner Robins; stepdaughter, Mikella Procopio of Warner Robins; sister, Diane D'Errico of Cranston, R.I.; seven grandchildren.

A rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today in Heritage Memorial Funeral Home with a visitation to follow. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 4406, Macon 31208.

Susie McCrary

FORT VALLEY - Services for Susie McCrary will be at noon Wednesday in Central Union Baptist Church with burial in Willowlake Memorial Gardens. McCrary, 68, died Saturday, May 6, 2000. She attended Peach County public schools and was a member of Central Union Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Ida Johnson of Fort Valley and Billy McCrary of Americus; brothers and sister, Mack McCrary, Florence Dunlap, both of Fort Valley, and Lewis McCrary of Warner Robins; and three grandchildren.

Sandra McMahan

Services for Sandra Jean McMahan will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Crest Lawn Funeral Home. Burial will be private. McMahan, 42, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. Born in Peach County, she was the daughter of the late William Wade Sr.

Survivors include her husband, Michael McMahan; daughter Kimberly Pate of Warner Robins; mother, Eva Wade of Byron; brothers and sisters Greg Wade, Judy Davis, William Wade Jr., Steve Wade, all of Byron, May Staines of Warner Robins and Linda Knighton of Eatonton; and two grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight in the funeral home and will be at 923 W. Ormond Terrace, Macon, and 5302 Houser Mill Road, Byron.

Otha Moody

PERRY - Services for Otha Davison Moody will be at 11 a.m. today in Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with burial in Hickory Springs Cemetery. Moody, 85, died Sunday, May 7, 2000. She was a homemaker and the widow of Raymond Moody. She was a member of Crossroad Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Joann Carter of Perry; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
