Charles E. Harvell
Services for Charles E. Harvell will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Vineville Baptist Church with private burial in Macon Memorial Park. Harvell, 69, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in a local hospital. The son of the late Elmer and Margie Fletcher Harvell, he was born icon in Fulton County and had lived in Macon since 1965. Harvell was a U.S. Army veteran who served during the Korean conflict. He was a district supervisor for Uniroyal Tire Co. for 23 years. Since 1977, Harvell was owner of Macon Royal Tire Co. He was a member of Vineville Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jean Dingler Harvell of Macon; son Chuck Harvell of Macon; daughters Patricia Harvell-Sheridan and Sheila Harvell-Conn, both of Macon; brother James F. Harvell of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. The family may be contacted at 1172 Cypress Drive. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the library/media center at Vineville Baptist Church, 2591 Vineville Ave., Macon 31204.

Patricia A. Heath
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Patricia A. Heath will be at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at McCullough Funeral Home, with private burial. Heath, 46, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000. A native of Lakenheath, England, she was a retired paraprofessional of Westside Elementary School and was Protestant by faith.

Survivors include her husband, Barry A. Heath of Warner Robins; parents, J.K. Goldman and V.J. Goldman, both of Lakenheath, England; children, Melissa Cox, Corey Heath, Stephanie Heath and Mathew Heath, all of Warner Robins; sister and brother, Sara Goldman of Alexandria, Va., and Guy Goldman of Hampton, Va.; and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Mary Eleanor Hightower
FORSYTH - Services for Mary Eleanor Hightower will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kynette United Methodist Church, with burial in Rest Haven Cemetery. Hightower, 63, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Monroe County Hospital. She was employed by Monroe County Hospital for 21 years. Hightower was a member of Kynette United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Camilla H. Wynn of Englewood, Ohio; brothers, Dave Jones of Forsyth and Earnest Hightower of Toledo, Ohio; and sisters, Mabel Hightower of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ella Mae King of Toledo, Ohio.

The family may be contacted at 37 Norvin Place. The body will be placed in the church one hour before services. Freeman Brothers Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Freddie Hill III
CORDELE - Graveside services for Freddie Hill III will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Bethel Cemetery. Hill, an infant, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, at Crisp Regional Hospital.

Survivors include his parents, Chastity Gaines and Freddie Hill Jr., both of Cordele; grandparents Mozie M. Gaines, Marie C. Hill, Emmett Clark and Donald Hamilton, all of Cordele, and Freddie Hill Sr. of Albany; sisters Cassidy S. Hill and Felisity T. Fenn, both of Cordele.

J.W. Williams Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Betty O. Horner
WARNER ROBINS - Services for Betty O. Horner will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with burial at 2 p.m. in Andersonville National Cemetery. Horner, 67, died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in Atlanta. A native of Memphis, Tenn., she was the daughter of William and Gertrude Owens. She was the widow of W. Glenn Horner. She had lived in Warner Robins for 35 years and was a retired teacher's assistant from Pearl Stephens School. Horner was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No. 1688. She was a member of the dance group the Warner Robins Rockets and was a den mother for Cub Scouts for many years.

Survivors include her sons, Rick Horner of Acworth, Jon L. Horner of Dacula and Tech Sgt. Marshall L. Horner of Norway; sisters, Zerline Rowland, Ethel Smith, Willie B. Hale and Annie May Williams, all of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.

A rosary service will be held at 7 tonight in the chapel of Christopher-Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.

Edna Johnson
Services for Edna Johnson will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Old Marion Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Johnson died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at Peake Health Care Center. The daughter of the late Julis Glover and Ada Glover, she was born icon in Twiggs County. Johnson was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and a former member of Old Marion Baptist Church.

Survivors include her nieces, Roberta Bloodworth of Jeffersonville and Gearldean Hudson of Macon; and sister-in-law, Josie Glover of Dry Branch.

Mary Frances Lee
DUBLIN - Services for Mary Frances Lee will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Jefferson Street Baptist Church Chapel, with burial in Northview Cemetery. Lee, 69, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000. A native of Dublin, she was the daughter of the late Olin Irvin Register and the late Eunice Standard Register. She was retired from Dublin High School and a member of Jefferson Street Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles M. Lee Jr.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Kight of Dublin; brother, Glenn I. Register of Dublin; and five grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.

Ray Madden
LAFAYETTE - Services for Ray Madden will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Willis Funeral Home, Dalton, with burial at 1 p.m. Thursday in Lafayette Cemetery. Madden, 63, died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2000. He was a retired teacher and farmer. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Christine Madden; sons, Kenneth Madden and Carolus Linnaeus Madden, both of Lafayette, Anthony Reece Madden of Dalton and Dewayne Harris of Lafayette; stepchildren, Gayle Winrow of Columbus, Ohio, and Leslie Winrow of Augusta; sisters and brother, Mary McGinnis of Miami, Fla., Gertrude Smith of Freeport, N.Y., and Donald Madden of Washington , D.C.; and seven grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 until services Wednesday at the funeral home.

Nattie S. Malone
Services for Nattie S. Malone will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue, with burial at Grace & Truth Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Sardis. Malone, 93, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, at a local hospital. The daughter of the late Walter Julius and Nattie Mae Walker Smith, she was born icon in Apalachicola, Fla. She was the widow of Comer Reynolds Malone. She had lived in Macon since 1924. Malone was retired from Robins Air Force Base and was a member of Lynmore United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons Richard Malone of Macon and Bill Malone of Newnan; daughter Dolly Fussell of Fitzgerald; sister Margaret McMillan of Tallahassee, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. The family may be contacted at 6010 Meadows Drive.

Eva Merritt
FITZGERALD - Services for Eva Berryhill Merritt will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Paulk Funeral Chapel, with burial in Osierfield Cemetery in Osierfield. Merritt, 93, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000. A native of Vienna, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Berryhill and Docia Sloan Berryhill. She was a retired spinner of Fitzgerald Mills and the widow of Archie Merritt. She attended Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Marvin Merritt, Randy Merritt and Rudine Merritt, all of Fitzgerald, Larry Merritt of Houston, Texas , Martha Merritt of St. Simons Island, and Laquita Joyner of Greenville, S.C.; sisters, Annie Wheelis and Ola Etheridge, both of Fitzgerald; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Thomas Ralph Morris
MIAMI, Fla. - Services for Thomas Ralph Morris will be at 2 p.m. today at Lowe's Funeral Home Chapel, Helena, with burial in Telfair Memorial Gardens. Morris, 61, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000. A native of Wheeler County, he was the son of the late Joseph Alton Morris. He was a member of New Testament Baptist Church of Miami and of Civitan International. Morris was a self-employed salesman and a Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Morris of Miami Springs, Fla.; sons, Scott Morris of Seattle, Wash., and Tod Morris of Miami, Fla.; mother, Ora H. Morris of Helena; brother ,Joseph R. Morris of Davie, Fla.; and one grandchild.

James Osinga
DAVISBORO - Services for James Osinga will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Friendship Baptist Church, near Davisboro, with burial in the church cemetery. Osinga, 87, died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2000, in the Washington Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of Frankville, Wis., he was the son of the late Anton Osinga and the late Elsie Schilstra Osinga. He was a retired farmer and furniture store owner. Osinga attended the Friendship Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Kathryn P. Osinga of Davisboro; daughters, Janet Smith of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Alice Leitherer of Ocala, Fla., and Patsy Lee Cobb of Davisboro; sisters, Ruth Kuiper of Sturtevant, Wis., Effie Wynkoop of Oak Creek, Wis., and Ann Anderson of Frankville, Wis.; three brothers, Arthur Osinga of Frankville, Wis., John Osinga of Vesper, Wis., and Fred Osinga of Kenosha, Wis.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sis Payne
KATHLEEN - Services for Sis Payne will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel, Perry, with burial in Spring Chapel Cemetery. Payne died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, at a local hospital. A Houston County native, she was the daughter of the late William Lawson and Florence Smith. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her companion, Johnny Rhome of Kathleen; brother and sisters, Mary Davis of Warner Robins, Eddie James Johnson of Perry and Martha Lawson of Florida; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Jean Pearce
Graveside services for Jean Pearce will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Pearce, 74, died Monday, Aug. 14, 2000, in a local hospital. The daughter of the late John D. and Nettie Rae Floyd, she was born icon in Monticello and was the widow of Clifton E. Pearce. She was retired from Exchange Services with McCoy Air Force Base, Orlando, Fla., and had lived in Macon since moving from Orlando in 1980.

Survivors include her sons Mickey E. Pearce and John M. Pearce, both of Macon; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 tonight at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. The family may be contacted at 101 Marsha Court or 509 Rivoli Vista. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 4406, Macon 31208.
